Although it seems counterintuitive in presenting a nice clean bait, I love the idea of floating the bait above the floor to minimise bl00dy ray engagements. Will definitely give it a go!

Fished there this morning, tailor fishing was ferocious with heaps in the high 40's and big herring attacking lures. Took a feed and home before peak hour traffic - perfect!

We used to fish for tailor with a gang hook but there were so many misses that we added a trebble to the bottom hook (possibly not the most legal thing to do) and out catch rate went right up.

I'm 56 yrs and have been using an Alvey since my grandad gave me one for my fifth birthday, and have brought the 60gvcr and the surf 60 with matching Alvey rods just recently and they are fishing weapons!

I'm surprised getting wet when there is a bit of chop didn't make your top 5 problems. I'm thinking about sizing up for better seaworthiness

Can mount that stuff to any gunnel. Just use railblaza track locks or gunnel locks. I prefer the wide gimme bc you can stand on it if your stable enough

What blows me away are tradies that order lattes that holds the service chick up . 20 of them staring into their phone while shes froffing nut milk when all i want is to pay for fuel. Cant they make that shit at home and save themselves 20 mins every morning.
