I think it was my post about tilting the turtle up! I feel like i have officially made it when Julie Cutts uses one of my ideas! 😂 I have a craft table that’s kind of like a dreambox, so when I open the door it’s right on the other side of the table. I leaned the turtle against the cabinet door, and then used crushed glass canisters under the flippers to hold them up. I’ll post a photo on your page later with it propped up!
I’m at awe with this stunning nightlight Turtle. Your ideas are amazing. Can’t wait to make some of these for my grandchildren. Thank you for your knowledge and creativity Julie. Your are the Best ❤
The turtle is beautiful, but in my opinion u should have filled the shell with the glass pieces also, they would have let the light bounce off the pices and would have look even prettier, the shell just looked to empty, but still very pretty😊
Hi I have ordered this mould today as my grandson has adhd and cant sleep in the dark so here we go im waiting for my order to come to the uk thank you for all of your beautiful videos im loving you work 😘 you really are a very talented lady and im loving you feeding the birds 🐦 thank you love and light lorraine xxx
Ahhh Julie it's SOOOO pretty!!!! You say this would be nice in a child's room, and it would!! But also I'm in my 30s and would absolutely put this light in my own room. Ahh I love it!!! The moon themed light also makes me think of making the shell kind of celestial around it, like with some alcohol ink swirls and maybe star glitter? Idk, that might be pretty? Anyway I still love this mold so much ahh! I love turtles! Tbf I love all animals and I just get excited when you have new cute animal molds 🤭 Absolutely GORGEOUS night light!
Adding the gold really brings its out! Leaving it clear w-out the outlines was boring, this really brought it out, Great Job & Thank You For Sharing Your Ideas
That fire glass looks amazing through the resin! Does it make a cool pattern on the ceiling? He looks amazing. Yes, outlining the shell in gold is perfect. xoxoxoxoxoox
I love it!! It's the cutest yellow turtle I've ever seen. The recipient of that light is going to be thrilled with it (or at least her or his mom and dad will be).
Kudos Julie, this was such a creative idea. To me, it's a great nightlight for any age. The gold Fire Glass pieces made it look so sophisticated. I'm glad you used the gold Deco Pen to outline the shell. It really completed the look perfectly. God bless & take care.
WOW!! I LOVE this so much!! The gold glass really made it stand out and shine. And the gold pen really kicked it up a notch!! It's absolutely stunning!! Thank you so much for this amazing project. 🐢💛🐢💛🐢💛🐢
It is so cute. You could also tint the resin with alcohol ink for people that don’t want just clear. So cute I love it. I really like the added gold you did to the shell it defines it so much
I love the night light, it's so beautiful. You are so talented ❤️. I want to start working with resin, but I fear I will never be as good as you. Out of all the videos out there, yours are by far the best! You are so welcoming and a joy to watch!! ❤
Such a cute idea. Love how it looks on the warm setting. My OCD wants a little bit of glass in the tail too. Would like to see something similar with fairy lights.
Fantastic Julie. Something I've been playing with is dying the glass with black India ink and then putting chameleon pigments on it. Chameleon glass if you will.
This is heckin’ cute! If you had a smaller globe, you could add stones in green. (my favorite) The gold paint pen is very nice for when the light isn’t on.!
Absolutely gorgeous.Putting the mirror under it also helps disperse the light more.I would not give it to someone for a child’s room,it’s too nice, very decorative .It would look lovely near some plants in a darker corner of the room.I love this idea. Now you have to find more things to put lights like this into..So cool 🥰
Absolutely beautiful. Fancy functional. The gold inlay on the shell really adds dimension along with the flair. It reminds of glass or crystal. Love it. If the nightlight sphere is tilted slightly to one side toward the belly behind the front legs, in subsequent turtle night lights, one would not have to lift the turtle and turn it over to touch it on and off on a regular basis. It would need the stopper lifts on the feet though for stability and room to touch underneath. It could sit upright during charging with the cord.
What if you added a white layer on the bottom of the shell so the ball wouldn't be as noticeable during the daytime?? I think it's gorgeous!! Great idea 😊
Definitely like the glass in the head and flippers! I think I would also add the gold to the outer edge of the shell, the divisions of the scoots definitely look good with the gold pen. Really nice project!

Oh, no doubt, you’ve made it April! I completely agree with your post! In my opinion, Julie is the very best in the resin art world! 😁👏
The most beautiful turtle! So elegant. I can see it beside a koi pond at night, perhaps a little waterfall in the background lit as well! ♥️♥️♥️
That turtle looks nice. That's one of my favorite pieces ever made.
He is gorgeous. I would use it as a night light in a hallway and that way it would be a display peice during the day. Love it. ❤❤
