The black under the hearts makes the inside colors pop. White makes the inside kind of fade . The turtle is just fabulous.

So cute! If you just put a few bits of the moss and then gave it a sand bottom, it would give it a nice ocean feel.
That would make a cool night light for a young child’s bedroom. Very peaceful. Love your work and creative mind.
A deep blue or aqua background would look great with those.

Dark background all the way. I think a dark blue would look fabulous on all of them but they're gorgeous as is too. The turtle made me think that it was like a turtle spirit guiding the clownfish to food and safety. 😅

I think you're right about the background. Black is a great contrast for all of the other colors easily.. I really enjoy watching your artwork. I've learned a lot thank you very much. Your work helps inspire me to be better than what I am right now.
Lovely work. That's not artificial moss - that's real reindeer moss, dyed. I use it a lot for this sort of thing and also model scenics for model railways. It holds moisture so can rot in resin like undried flowers do so it'll be interesting to see how this looks long term. I usually dry it first in silica before putting it in resin, though not if it's for model scenics as if it's exposed to the air long term it is fine ;) Great project, I love putting tiny fish in things. Top is where the dorsal fin is. Lower sides are the pectorals. So you'll know for next time :)

Oh and do keep your left over moss in an open container - if you seal it in a bag it will get smelly and rot so leave it open so the air can look after it

47:26 the 1st one looks like a smiley face with the ring light's being it's eyes, the ceiling lights being the eyebrows, the blue & white fish it's mouth, & the light blue fish would be the nose ....😃 can anyone else see this...😉💜✌🏽

I would leave the puffy hearts clear...that way I can wear it with any color sweater or blouse. What a beautiful turtle! The little fish and moss were perfect in everything! Julie, wouldn't the turtle look awesome with the ocean and beach in it...with white cap waves? Little starfish and shells or perhaps a dolphin? Thank you agape n for all your awesome videos! 🐢💚

Putting the fish in mostly the same direction, makes them look like a school of fish. ❤ The turtle is so cute! No wonder you couldn't wait to get outside to see it in the sun. The puffy hearts look like tiny aquariums. Everything is so cute. ❤

A good trick for getting the bubbles out after you out the moss in the mold is to put the mold into your vacuum chamber cause it will pull the resin into the areas where there would be bubbles while popping most of them simultaneously
You could glue the one sided fish, flat sides together and have a larger variety to put in the turtle.
I've been doing this with lizards, frogs and turtles but use sand, gravel, stivks for a river stream look. So cool.

I love love love these. I love both the white card and black card but I think you can see them better from farther away on the black card. Good thing is with it being clear you can change up the look by wearing different colored shirts lol. ✌️❤️🤣 always strive for peace, love and happiness in your life!
I think leaving them clear leaves the background to change with different backgrounds. The white circle shows off the colors & fine details better in my opinion. 😊

On the white, they look blurry and indistinct. On the black, it all comes into sharp focus.

I'm with those that like the black background for the hearts. Which I would keep the top parts clear instead of adding green. Adding the green would give it a cheesy look in my opinion. I love the turtle, though I would've stuck more moss into the head area and sooner. It think it would help to highlight the facial features with the fish swimming around. Wonderful concept for a project.

Looks fantastic with the light shining through. If you could upscale the mold it would make a beautiful unusual lamp. ( the dragon would be even more wonderful.
Also the mold you used for weight looks interesting. Have we seen that one before? Looks faceted.
