@@Toonpish Oh, yes! I've only seen cupped hand moulds but a grabby hand coming out through the darkness would be so cool. I guess alginate and fast curing silicone rubber could be used to make a mould, or some fast curing moulding compound and then cast that.... 🤔
AMAZING!!! I have two suggestions, just to see what would happen. First tape the flat film onto the skull and then heat it up, just to see what would happen. Like would it crinkle more, less or just the same. My next suggestion is getting that shrink film and layer that with one piece of the dichroic film. See how that shrinks down!! This is just about one of the most beautiful things you have ever made!

Hello love the end result. My question is how does the mixer clean up, looks like it a pain approve to a stirring stick?
Are you referring to the large mixer?
You spin it in a spare cup first.
You can leave it to cure then just peal off the resin when cured, or clean it with isopropyl alcohol before it cures.
It is more cleaning than a stir stick but it is quicker 😀💜👍
Looks eerie and cool. Never thought of trying this. Wish I knew where I could buy large pieces of dichroic film, I can only seem to find smaller pieces.
Check out my website. But it does seem to come in just 10 cm high strips sadly.
But I sell 20 by 10 🥰🥰
QUESTION I’m a total newbie! Like some art forms,I decided to watch and learn before I even started my resin journey. So pardon if any of my questions are obvious. Why did you need to put resin on and then sand the film skulls?
Plastic floats and I wanted to anchor them down in the place I put them.
Also black brings out the colour of the dichroic film.
I hope that helps 😀🥰💜
Can you not heat it then quickly put it in you bubble machine as a vacuum is made it will suck it onto the skull picking up the details, just a thought 😊😊😊😊😊
Well it’s definitely a thought.
Not all the skulls had holes in though.
🤷♀️ might work 😀😀💜
What other names for it other the Angelina film and dichroic?
Try searching fusible film 😀🥰👍
