I forgot to talk about it in the video but was more talking then I like to start with. You don't need all that stuff to go offroad in a territory. I started with nothing but king springs and upgraded my suspension after each trip. When I talk about my future mods it's because that's what I've found is holding me back from pushing harder on harder tracks.
Well.. My Great Wall X240 got wiped out on Sunday... looks Like I am going to be looking for a "Cheap" Territory to replace it.. Any pointers I should look out for, I don't intend to go as mental as you do.. but Some All Terrains for when the roads get a bit muddy What are the Main things I should look for ?
With territory's it's all about the suspension. Ball joints and bad bushes. Other little things like windows all working and rust around the boot seal. But yeah big thing is suspension as it could be a simple fix or full rebuild. If you need more help join the territory offroad Facebook group and message me Keith Hansby.
Hey for the front, have you looked into putting a trutrack in for better locking? If you can get an m86 in there, I think you can fit a trutrack but I’ve only looked into falcon rear difs so I’m not 100%
Territory front diff is a M70 and the closest thing to that is a M78 centre. I've got a M78 RTS LSD and it's a bit smaller overall compared to a turetrac. The only machining it will need is one side made shorter to suit where the M70 carrier bearing sits. For the rear M86 diff I've got a 4wd systems auto lokka. I've seen the turetrac in the rear of a offroad territory and didn't like how it slipped still with one wheel been loaded up. This is why I want to try the auto lokka instead.
Hey, those rancho navarra rear shocks are they standard or lifted, for your steel hat lift 40mm if i remember correctly with lifted hd king springs, im gonna order rancho navarra rear shocks, so wondering height. Ta. Great vids by the way have inspired me to have a crack at basic lift. Ive done front with 35mm shock spacers, and eventually 265/70 17.
I use the lifted one's. Remember but they aren't just bolt on. They need sleeves and spacers. My bolt in rear spacers add 40mm and raised king springs will add another 20-25mm of lift. 265 70 17 will involve getting the grinder out to fit.

I probably sound dumb asking but is it street legal Bec as a p plater and it being my only car as of right now haha probably shouldn’t if it’s not
No. Legality you can even go up one size in tyre's.

How much km does the ford have ??
I got 302k on the SX owned it from 142k. The SY has 320k
