I like that she often ends with "isn't it?" and sometimes the subject in the sentence is a person so it becomes: "he's so talented isn't it?" Another Henya-ism to appreciate at least.
In the german dubs Spongebob and Vegeta have the same voice. For the first 35 Episodes of Z. That was actually changed because of the negative response. But that dub is still out there.
@@fgregerfeaxcwfeffece the same voice actor would eventually be recasted as the robot Giru in GT, which in context sounds like the better match. I did a bit of research into why Patrick's voice is different in the JP Dub. For the first eight seasons, Patrick was voiced by female seiyū Ikuko Tani, but from Season 9 onwards, he is voiced by male seiyū Takashi Nagasako, hence the wildly different change in the vocal pitch for the character. And speaking of "same voice actors," did you know that Stephanie Sheh (who is known for voicing cute characters like Hinata Hyūga in Naruto, Mikuru Asahina from The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, Orihime Inoue in Bleach, and Usagi Tsukino in Sailor Moon), voices the Dark Mage Tharja in Fire Emblem: Awakening? It's radically different from her usual voice roles. Heck, Keith Silverstein is another voice actor who is known for his range. He voices Hisoka in the 2011 remake of Hunter x Hunter; Vector the Crocodile in Sonic the Hedgehog; Zasalamel in Soulcalibur; Torbjörn Lindholm in Overwatch; Nazeem, Savos Aren, and some additional voices in Skyrim; and Zhongli in Genshin Impact. And if you want to get even more freaky, I noticed that Henya was playing Breath of the Wild there. While he technically voices the character in Tears of the Kingdom, but did you know that Tears of the Kingdom was not the first time that Matthew Mercer played Ganondorf? He previously portrayed the character in a live-action webseries from 2009 called There Will Be Brawl, which he also co-created, produced, and directed. He also voiced Kirby and Meta Knight in that series, too. So yeah, voice actors have a lot of talent, maybe more so than some of the biggest stars in the film industry today. Hollywood REALLY needs to hire professional voice actors for animated productions more often, instead of A-listers who've have very little experience in voice acting.
This may seem obvious, but Hollywood puts A-list actors in voice roles because they're household names that will sell tickets. It's usually the execs and producers that will push for a big name instead of a lesser-known VA that would actually fit better.
I still think about how the Japanese VA for Plankton changed part way through the series. He went from sounding super high pitched to having a much more masculine voice to fit the English counterpart. The old Plankton is so jarring.
Hearing a non-American talk about their version of McDonald's limited time menu options makes me, an American sad. Dio's seiyuu voiced Optimus Primal in the Japanese dub of Beast Wars, and legendary waifu-voicer Kikuko Inoue voiced Princess Celestia in My Little Pony.
It's kinda crazy just how prolific and instantly recognizable Takehito Koyasu has been since doing Dio, to the point that he's one of the few JP VAs I actually remember the name of off the top of my head.

In Spanish SpongeBob is just called Bob but his full name is Bob Esponja which is just Spanish for SpongeBob. I only heard it a few times when I was in Mexico over 10 years ago
In the Latin American version of the opening, the crowd just says "Bob Esponja" (the translation of SpongeBob) rather than the full name (Bob Esponja Pantalones Cuadrados) so the number of syllables could match. I find it hilarious that the JP version had to rush the name into the lyrics even though the number of syllables don't match xD
