4:40 fun fact: suppressors don't actually reduce sound all that much unless you're shooting subsonic ammo or you're a few hundred yards away. sonic booms can only be quelled so much.
Yeah, suppressed guns on standard ammo are often still loud enough to damage your hearing. Just not nearly as quickly as they would without the suppressor. That alone is a pretty good reason to use them. A cousin of mine forgot his ear plugs when he went deer hunting once, and his ears were ringing for weeks. Suppressed guns on subsonic ammo however can be so quiet that you may only hear the sound of the action cycling. There's no bang at all. Depends a on the suppressor of course, but the ammo makes an enormous difference.
I remember hearing a special ops guy mention that the thing they love about suppressors isn't so much the sound reduction, they love the LIGHT reduction...when you're fighting at night, enemies can easily see where you are from the muzzle flash on your rifle, unless you've got a suppressor on your weapon. Really useful even if you're using supersonic rounds.
It does reduce the sound a lot to being nearly hearing safe, but this is still very loud. It’s not stealth-quiet, just down to not hurting yourself quiet. Sub-sonic is like stealth quiet.

16:00 the only ways to kill Wolverine is to use a special blade that can kill his healing factors and cut through his neck. Or you can drown him but the moment he gets taken out of the water then best bet is to not be there. He literally was blown up by a mutant Nuke where only his skeleton was left and there was enough flesh left that he was ready to go again that same day.
15:58 For anyone wondering, with the adamantium sickness from his adamantium bones, he can definitely heal from that. Though, he'd probably have memory issues for a long time. However, without the adamantium bones, it's proven that his healing factor is far greater as it's being suppressed to heal the adamantium poison. Though he'd be weaker and less durable, without the adamantium bones, he could probably shrug off that wound in under a second.

It depends on the writer whether or not Wolverine can regrow limbs. In some timelines he loses a hand. In another he healed from all his flesh getting burned off by flying too close to the sun. Yes, the actual sun.
For the non-comics folk, or just everyone who missed the movie LOGAN, he's riffing on an actual issue, namely heavy metals poisoning. Wolverine's healing factor also prevents the adamantium from messing up his body, but he's suffered from it whenever his healing factor was suppressed (a major factor in the movie as mentioned earlier).

Suppressors only help a little unless you use subsonic ammo. Which the man does. And it still pops like a firecracker and a half. Also people who say "assault rifles don't exist" are trying to lie to the law. Any fully-automatic handheld rifle with 20+ bullets per magazine is what we mean by 'assault rifle' because you can use them to advance on entrenched enemies.
As far as terminology, an Assault rifle is any intermediate cartridge, magazine Fed, select fire rifle. An "Assault Weapon" is the made up political term that has no real definition and no concrete list of definitive characteristics beyond the cosmetic, which changes in a case by case, law by law or person to person basis.
Assault Rifles aren't a thing really. It's a term used by gun control activists to label any rifle that they say appear to be for war, or more simply "look scary". It's just a gaslight really. For example, the ArmaLite 15 (AR15) and the Ruger Mini 14 look quite different. One like what most think a modern weapon for combat looks like, the other more like one from decades ago or just for hunting. But they are both semi-automatic (which means it only fires one shot per trigger pull and loads next round for next trigger pull), have the same muzzle velocity, fire the same calibur round, and have magazines holding 30 rounds readily available. Guess which one more people think is genuinely deadlier?
Wrong. You're thinking of "assault weapon"; "assault rifle" is absolutely an established technical term for a select-fire rifle chambered in an intermediate cartridge.
um..he may be ballistical, tho he doesn't understand reality. Geoff would be to differ. The most powerful handgun in the world can't hold ah candle to marksmanship. >"Guns are not allowed in japan"
She is wrong btw
You can get empty shell casings as keychains, too; not just in "american" heavy areas like okinawa either
Shotguns in particular are popular due to how japanese gun laws work
Suppressors only help a little unless you use subsonic ammo.
An "Assault Weapon" is the made up political term that has no real definition and no concrete list of definitive characteristics beyond the cosmetic, which changes in a case by case, law by law or person to person basis.
ask Potato for bullets
The most powerful
handgun in the world can't hold ah candle to
marksmanship. Bones hav ah tendency to break
under .38 Special. .357 is a ultra powerful .38
Special. .45ACP was created to knock a man

are out there, even for geniuses. 17Dec'24
Yeah, I’ll just believe Scott a lot more than I would believe a random idiot on the Internet. He has an experience and a lot more knowledge about guns than you. And just saying a bunch of random terminology doesn’t mean shit.
I'm sure she can get an empty shell with a tip and no primer with a little ball in it to show it's empty.
