So, at the end of the day, the Milton Keynes project/fiasco's only contribution to football is providing a Premier League ground for Luton to arse around in for a year or so.
They are now getting their karma for what they did to the fans in Merton stealing their football club. Administration is almost a certainty soon as Winkelman is running out of money. Nobody will want to buy the club and more than likely they will go down to The National League eventually and will end up being wound up. That's my grim prediction. AFC Wimbledon are close to having the final laugh.
Total drivel. No one in Merton was remotely interested in Wimbledon FC-even in the First Division Wimbledon struggled to get 3,000 and the tickets at Selhurst Park went on general sale immediately so 15k Man U or whoever supporters could waltz in. Sam Hamam moved Wimbledon from Plough Lane with no plan/intention of ever returning (which the people of Merton greeted with enthusiasm I recall), his only plans were to move them to Dublin or Baisingstoke where he ridicuously claimed he'd build a stadium. MK was the end result of all that. The 8000 that AFC get today is way over double what WFC got in the top flight (WFC famously couldn't sell the FA Cup final allocation) and most of that 8000 never went/had any connection with WFC ;interest in Wimbledon having a Football Club only starting after the MK move-there wasn't even a fraction of that interest in the old WFC despite their amazing achievements. AFC Wimbledon actually owe a debt of thanks to MK, as it started their fan base and brought in the proper support they totally lacked 1977-2002 and they finally became the Football club in Merton. I remember EVERY away team's fans over running Plough Lane be it Division 4 ,3, 2 or 1-even turned up at the turnstile at 2.45 for a home fixture v MAN UTD and got straight in no problem. Not one of the big chip on shoulder AFC fans was ever there. WFC would have gone to the wall anyway-MK or not. Just cut the drivel (you weren't there) and focus on AFC -a club totally different from WFC 1977-2002. Who cares one way or the other about MK. AFC fans today never gave a toss or turned up 77-02.
Great video showing the downfall of franchise long may it continue until administration.

No chance Luton will play in Milton Keynes. We’ve already told them to f**k off before.
I think you've done well to get Graham Alexander. My thoughts are that he's an underrated Manager
Your whole season was decided on the home game against Barnsley. Won that and you stayed up and at 4-1 up at home you really should have.
You know what you are
Twine vs Plymouth 😢 0:27
Why don't you guys just give the trophies back?
That background music ruin the video

@infrasleep lol someone drank the MK coolaid.
The most disliked football club in the history of the sport, I hope the FA have learned their lesson
What's it got to do with you 🤡
not the real dons
winkelman out
Glad to see Dons suck. Never deserve to get to PL with how they ended up in MK.
Sit still when you are talking, it is rather distracting all that bouncing around.
