I Got a Professional Colour Analysis in Korea

- I flew to South Korea to undergo a personal color analysis by an expert. Here’s how it went. The color in the video may not be entirely accurate as my iPhone adjusts the lighting and color of my face according to the hues beneath me. When I wore light colors, it resulted in a brighter complexion on camera and vice versa. The way my faced looked with each color was different when I observed it in the mirror during the session.

She has such a good eye! It’s amazing how quickly she could see what colours harmonise best with you
She really does! As soon as I walked into the room, she commented on how she was worried because my nails and bag were in pale pinks which are summer colours and she was pretty confident that I was a winter. She's clearly been doing this long enough to know on sight what my best colours were :)

@@rhuthshanas that would be a mistake. You can still wear yellows and oranges which are blue toned. Not everything needs to be dark. Similarly blue toned white etc. There isn't any colour that you can't wear, other than pale grey. You just have to find the right tone of the colour.
Definitely a winter and therefore blue toned summer colors will also suit you.
The way to wear it is have most of your outfit in winter tones and add the blue toned summers for a pop of colour or as contrast.

I think summer is better for you in light to medium colors! Then deep winter for dark colors! Also depends on which type of dress! If uou are going full covered then go for the deep winter shades

What was your exact foundation shade In MAC and Maybelline?

The perfect foundation shade for me was Maybelline’s Fit Me Foundation in the shade 320 which is called “Natural Tan” 😊 she tried many different colours on me and finally decided I was a deep winter!

Hi :) I naturally have wavy hair so when I go to the salon I will ask for a layered cut but I think the official name for it is a either a wolf cut or a butterfly cut 😅

Doesn't matter how many professional colours analysis videos I see.. I always disagree with the analyst colours choices. Is it because of camera? Does it look accurate in real life?
The camera affects how colours appear so it actually looked quite different in real life :)
@@rhuthshanas So if we wear the colour suits us according to the colour analysis, it will looks good in real life but not on pictures. What should we do then?
@@guriya8459 It is not that colours that look good on us in real life will look bad on us in pictures, it just looks slightly different like sometimes the camera might make your face look lighter or darker based on the colour of your shirt. And colours are different based on which camera you use like your phone back camera vs selfie camera or using an iPhone vs Samsung. Colour analysis is all about the way you look best in real life which is how you will look majority of the time. I don't know if it will ever be possible to pick the right colour that you will look good wearing in pictures taken by all cameras :)

I feel like the whole color analysis is totally wrong !! Common yaar .. you look good in all the colors … beauty is in the eye of the beholder! And you are comfortable or you feel it’s right .then it’s right color for you ..
I definitely agree that beauty is in the eye of the beholder! Colour analysis will show you what colours are best to bring out your natural features but at the end of the day, we should all wear the colours we love and feel the best in ☺

I can completely understand why! And to be fair, she did say my body is warm toned so the best nail colours for me are in the deep autumn season so you're pretty close ☺
Iam I the only one who didn’t felt any difference
It's understandable not to see a difference and it could be for two reasons. One is that we don't actually know what to look for which I also had when I watched some color analysis videos in the past. And secondly, it could just be the effect of the camera that adjusts the lighting when different colours were presented. The difference is actually very noticeable in real life :)
honestly she chose the opposites. Most colours that brightened your face were not her choice. Some colours were obviously hideous on anyone and any skin colour. It is a scam, but the experience is fun.
The color you see in the video isn't the most accurate because my iPhone adjusts the lighting and color of my face based on what color was placed under me so when I had light colours, my phone camera made my face colour brighter, but in real life when I was looking at it in the mirror during the session, darker colours brightened my face the best :)

Anything but a scam. The best investment I made to get a color analysis done. I'll hopefully do it again in the future.

In video she looks fair but that analysis video she look so dark but how
It’s the lighting of the place :) in the analysis session I was in front of a mirror with light behind me so it casts a shadow and it looks dark but in the video I took it sitting in front of a window so there was light on my face.
No need of doing this, Its very simple that if someone has dark skin tone then they should always wear darker shades of any color than a light shade.
That's not necessarily true. Colour analysis actually shows us that everyone can have a unique palette that suits them best, regardless of their skin tone. It’s all about finding the right hues that complement your natural undertones and that can include both light and dark shades. An example would be Lupita Nyong'o who absolutely glows in lighter and brighter colours as compared to dark/deep ones.
