If Dwight,VC,Klay,Pau,Mutumbo, &Tony Parker are mainly the biggest gripes people have about the list,I think they did a pretty good job. Klay will be on the top 100 list they put out 25yrs from now as long as he's 75% of who he WAS pre-injury. And Dwight,VC &Pau all had too many years after their prime where they just didn't put up STAR stats. Mutumbo &Parker just weren't as good as some of the other players from their era that made the list...doesn't mean they aren't legends in their own right. Inside the NBA did do it justice but espn as usual makes a joke of something so special.
Yes,I confirm.
Penny Hardaway and Grant Hill we’re left off too
Kareem is the best player period. All time. 6 NBA rings. 3 NCAA rings, 88-3 at UCLA. 4 high school rings in NYC. = Goat 🐐… plus all time scorer and they made a rule to outlaw slam dunks while he was in college cause he was so dominant.

GASOL over AD
Bro I swear T Mac could have been on this list....back in his prime anytime him and Kobe or him and A.I had a game against each other everybody was watching.
Did magic not make it in the 50th anniversary one? Cause why they getting his reaction like it was a huge surprise?
he wasnt even retired 25 years ago..
@@fishshit yes he was?
Magic is always so humble about everything so they probably wanted to see how he'd react to something so obvious.

But they praise Westbrick for stat padding against sub .500 teams and losing in the first round to the Jazz and Brick Simmons.
Not over Dwight Howard

Alex English should have made it. Most points in the 1980s(more than Jordan, Bird, Magic), particularly because he was crushing it in the early 80s from 1980-1984 before Jordan hit the scene.
English, Dantley and Mark Aguirre. I mean if Lillard and Melo made it why not them
I was going to say the exact same thing. English and Dantley should have been there over Lillard, Melo and Westbrook.
The fact Anthony Davis made the list goes to show how much you should care about the list
He deserves it
@@stevenmark4407 how
Tracey McGrady and Bernard King should be on this list..honorable mention Grant Hill, Shawn Kemp, Micheal Ray Richardson, Ben Wallace, Joe Dumars, Dennis Johnson

right bro
Mutombo
it's too bad tmac's team didn't go past the 1st round (he reached the finals when he was not even on the rotation, 2nd round with the rockets he was injured) while the supposedly lesser player reggie milller routinely reached the conference finals and nearly reached the finals 4 times (he only got once) and was always deep in the playoffs.
No to Grant Hill
Biggest Snubs:
Vince Carter
Tracy McGrady
Dwight Howard
Pau Gasol
Joe Dumars
Dikembe Mutumbo
Alex English
Tony Parker
And Ginobili!!!
Why AD and Carmelo are in there but Thompson and Howard aren't?

Jordan is the best 👌
Don’t disrespect Melo he deserves a spot
Both of those players are so much more skilled at basketball than dwight and its not close

The biggest snub is Bernard King. It's crazy that he's not on this list. Also, Bob Lanier, Alex English, Dennis Johnson and Vince Carter.
I would be pretty pisses if I was klay Thompson. I don’t know how you could leave him out when he’s for sure one of the greatest shooters of all time, a 3 time champion, amazing at defense as well as his offense, and the list goes on.
They got it right. He’s not 75.

AD and Lillard should be replaced by Howard and VC. Other than that the list is good.

The cross Allen iverson did on MJ was insane.
What was insane was how we all reacted to it!!! the next day in school we all believed we could do what Bubba Chuck did!!! He made MJ look like a kid as a rookie!!! And MJ was in his prime!!!

@@jackbarnes9316 why would he say it. McHale was a different style player. I watched him many many times with my own eyes. If he was being kind, why didn't he say it about everyone, or other guys. Terrible comment imo

@@jackbarnes9316 it's 100% accurate. McHale was Barkley's nightmare. Think about it, Kevin could play off Charles just enough with those freakish long arms still bother his mid range shot. McHale blocked alot of Barkley's shot and bothered even more.
On the other end McHale scored at will with Charles. Double everytime
I agree with Charles Barkley that nobody from the top 50 list should not have been taken off. They should have added 25 more guys. That’s disrespectful!!

@@grief6052 They could have been though. They were allowed to vote for whoever but the original top fifty had enough votes to stay on the list.

What does he mean by that? I saw Kareem dominate over a decade. He did everything

I'd take chauncey billups over AD or westbrook. Or Damian Lillard. Not saying chauncey is better, but he is greater. He was the glue, the leader, of that 04 pistons team. On that note, I'd probably take ben wallace over Ad/westbrook/lillard.

@@kevinvty erm, idk about that. I just think that he is overlooked. he led a team to beating a shaq and kobe lakers. NOBODY expected them to be able to win, but they did, and it wasn't a fluke. chauncey was the best leader on the floor, and wallace was the best defender.
Magic Johnson the most likeable dude ever

Tracy Mcgrady & Vince Carter deserve a slot on that list!

Grant Hill, Bernard King, Alex English, Adrian Dantley, Sidney Moncrief, Tracy McGrady
All 6 of these guys are in my Top 55 (so they should definitely be on a Top 75 list).
as much as great all those guys are dwight howard is the most biggest snub in top 75 he's been the best big man in the league for like 5-6 yrs and 3x dpoy, 8x all star, 8x all nba, finished top 5 in mvp voting 4 times, lead the league in blocks 2 times, 5x rebounding champ, nba champion, and lead his team to the nba finals, beated lebron james and the Celtics big 3.
I agree
What 6 are you taking off?
@@raphaelmoore8570 If we're not allowed taking off pre-1980s guys who were part of the Top 50 list (which I think is a good policy), then I am only taking off Dennis Rodman. Best role-played of all time, but the 6 guys I mentioned are better all around players.
@Hoss Sidney Moncrief didn't make it? That's wild man. He was a big part of that Bucks team in the 80s and he was a HUGE individual defensive specialist. He could score for sure, but he also played crazy good defense.
Shaq might have played a role on why Dwight didn't make the list. Just a conspiracy theory.

I'm still disappointed in this list....like initially I was arguing for Tmac...and now I'm wondering why Bill Walton is on there ahead of him....I get that Bill Walton was a freak of nature before his injuries but so was Derek Rose...so this argument could go multiple ways...this list just pisses me off...T Mac was better than alot of these players..he just never had any teammates that could help him get the to the finals....unlike the majority of players on this list.

Larry Bird was what Steph Curry is today ijs lights out shooting beat you off the dribble score from anywhere on the court they both have three point shooting titles
If anything,I think it's odd that Rodman wasn't on the Top 50 list they put out in the 90s but was added on this time around. Did he get better in retirement? He DOES deserve to be on the list tho. Overall I didn't really have any HUGE gripes with the list.
Klay Thompson is not going to be top 100 you have way more talent going to be by far better than his overrated ass. I guarantee you he's soaking all this injury in bc he's hype. I give him 2-4 years and he's nothing and that's if he's still with warriors. Once he leaves warriors. It'll be hype and after that. It'll be dead and he'll just be washed up overseas
