My grandfather had a 1941 Model M at his place in SE MO. Spent a lot of time on that wonderful tractor as a youth.

If you were a farm boy in the 1950’s you probably drove an M at some point. I helped a neighbor that had 2 M’s and a Super M. The M’s he named Mike 1 and 2 and the Super he named Big Mike.

Great sounding M. We have two in our collection. The Christmas tree valve is a nice upgrade!

We ran a super M for a lot of years. Road gear really gets you down the road. Love the rig Roger the dirt looks like it is really working up beautifully

That combo of the KBA disk and pulvimulcher saves me a trip over the field. Several of my tractors can pull them.

Your ground looks good and dry enough to plant. We're still too wet to even drive across the field! I just picked up another M, has all kind of M&W add on, power steering, fenders, live hydraulic system, to name the important ones. Needs tires all around, and the gas tank cleaned out. If I can ever get the crops planted, I'll splurge on a set of tires and get it usable.

Does it have the hand clutch? That would be useful.

@@rogermiller7411 Unfortunately it don't have that. I wasn't going to bid on it as it was stuck when bought, but it had all those niceties, and wasn't too far away. Got it home and pulled the plugs, they looked clean, so I lubed it up and got a big bar on the ring gear. It wasn't very bad, and loosened right up. Just needs new shoes!
