Good job Kenny & I'm definitely buying this.
You the man! I appreciate your support bro
This truck has one of the better looking grills of ANY of the current truck and I also like the chrome front and rear bumpers - very seldom seen on todays trucks ( and cars, for that matter )
I think the grille looks pretty good. Looks like the 19-24' Limited Longhorn grille
Great review Kenny! The refresh is really nice and this is the best looking big truck imho. Cheaping out on the running and tail lights is not cool on a 71k truck. The V8s are going to go away for the most part because of CAFE requirements but for me if I can get the same or more power out of a turbo 6 I'm good. Hope that you are doing great!
This RAM is a well sorted vehicle.
Great detailed video! I like the refresh.
Thank you! I like your SS
@@703Speed Thank you Sir
They cheaped out on the headlights and taillights. Why?
$$$
@@703Speed I assume to get the headlights and taillights of Laramie they just be purchased as an add on? Good review as always.
The reason I think the refresh is a step back n still no digital dash on Laramie n under ford does Toyota does chevy does its just a step back and ask more money also jeep did same thing grand cherokee reflector led headlights n there expensive as hell wrangler they took the alpine speakers away unless u get a tech package stellantis sucks bad
Great video .
Thank you
This is one of great trucks & I must buy one.
would take a 24 for bigger discount and the hemi motor.....full size trucks arent for MPG, if it is you probably dont really need a truck
This makes more HP and more TQ than the Hemi…
Do you know what the MPG is for the bigger hurricane motor the one with 540 hp?
I’m happy with my 22 limited. I think the hurricane will be a good motor but I’m happy with my 5.7. Has enough power for my needs and the sound from the hemi is unmatched. I think the refresh is meh personally. It’s not much different than the previous version and a step back in some areas. I am jealous of the three settings on the heated steering wheel though. I know mine has the capability but you have to buy something to unlock all the hidden features in the vehicle.
I agree. It’s hard to beat a V8
going to buy a used Longhorn from that old guy who took good care of it, not the mexican contractor, but going to wait for SST hurricane cause the HEMI will blow up sooner or later.
Standard turn signals, nice. A lot of car manufacturers could learn something from Ram. Turn signals should be standard on all vehicles.
How about a 0-60 acceleration demonstration? No one has posted one yet. We all want to know if it beats the F150’s time,
Hmm. Might have to line up a 3.5L vs Hurricane
The 360 cameras require some other expensive package? Otherwise why not have it for less than 400 bucks?
How would you have it for $400?
@@703Speed you said it was a package for less than 400. It’s in your video!
Thumbs up review. Peace bro
🙏🏼🙏🏼
Nobody has the ride and luxury of the Ram pickups... but I wonder about their reliability
Honestly better than I thought it would be.
Shame that it hasn't spray in bedliner as standard and also V8 should be an option. Greetings
Damn i swear your getting handsome more and more ❤
I thought it was just me but this guy _is_ cute and white guys aren’t even usually my type.
Well I'm black lol
Good vid.
But nope, 8 banger or nothing for a truck that size (diesel of course excepted).
No replacement for displacement, physics matters.
The only reason they are doing this now is because the gov is putting a gun to their head for fines to meet mpg requirements. That's all.
If you think maintenance is expensive on your engine now....wait till you get turbo repair bills.
Have fun zooming around kids.....
Everything you said is a joke. 🤡 Cylinder count is irrelevant. A well designed engine can handle boost. The inline 6 Hurricane looks good on paper and I hope it turns out well.
The Hemi has notorious issues (lifters, exhaust manifolds, cams, etc). I daily a 5.7 Hemi but I know it’s not the most reliable and it has way less power (especially at elevation).
@@Lq32332 Sit down child....the adults are talking. Ever hear of RPM? Go ahead and compare son.....let me know. Do you even understand how engines wear? Ever wonder why 6 bangers are typically listed for about 150K and a 8 is 200K plus? Why don't you watch some real mechanics and learn?
I've owned more trucks and cars than you could ever afford. Including multiple hemi's (still running after 20 years) and also very expensive turbo's, cars you can only cream yourself over. You'll never afford them. So I'll explain them to you.
You are the joke. Go buy your turbo and tell me how wonderful those bills are. And since it is SO powerful...I'm sure you will just LOVE towing with them!!!
A FOCKING HONDA RIDGELINE HAS A HIGHER MAX PAYLOAD THAN YOUR TURBO!!!
Let that sink in son.
After you pay for premium gas. And oh..it's a new engine from Ram.....KNOWN for its reliability in all thing new? go ahead child. Buy it.
I dare you.
@@Lq32332these are the same guys visiting all the mid-size truck/SUV videos and claiming (6 cylinder or nothing). They actually think they’re making an impact by trolling in UA-cam comments. They’re clueless boomers that think with modern technology we still need at least 8 cylinders, 6 cylinders or a hybrid in order to make great power _and_ be reliable.
Same price as a lariat, smaller gas tank and less leg room up front compared to f150. I had a 2015 ram, liked it but the passenger front leg room bugged me.
What do you drive now?
@@703Speed shopping for a truck, Considering 2024 f150 lariat
No one does it better then you kenny
Thanks man🙏🏼
Unfortunately just like the 2025 F-150, Stellantis tried to copy GMC and give their trucks a more sophisticated exterior look but it only made the RAM look bland, conservative and underwhelming. The Sierra always has been the best looking half-ton truck imo but now it’s the truck with the most road presence too.
I kinda like the 24 better
Is that a fart at 2 minutes! Careful with that kneeling down pointing at the camera thing you might lose one in the undies
Most definitely a fart!!!😅
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 it was a sound affect bc I didn’t like how they lazily left the camera housing with no camera!😂😂😂
We had a 20 Ram with the 5.7L. Was a great truck. I love the sound of a v8, but for everyday driving and for towing, this hurricane would likely be my choice. In a truck, it’s about TORQUE, and the torque is down low in this new engine….in a v8 you have to rev it. And when towing or hauling a load for longer distances, the higher rpm driving with a v8 trying to pull gets tiresome in my opinion. Also, the hemi was THIRSTY!….dont think we ever broke 20mpg ever even with a tailwind.
Camera stub with no camera? That looks a MESS. SMH 🤦🏽♂️
Right
the connector may still be there..... if so may just need a configuration update 🤔
No thanks I will stick with Toyota:P
Better off buying a GMC
Nawww I'm not into Gay Man's Choice
Of course the price of a house price market. At Biden Democrats price.
Sweetheart despite how much you’d love to you can’t blame everything you don’t agree with on the president of the United States. Go read a book 📚
Nothing Stellantis has its hands on is better than before. Stellantis is a crap company.
Totally agree there ruined alot of the American cars
