What is missing? Electronic controls to adjust the steering wheel position. Additional manual knobs, switches for better control while driving without using the touchscreen. Haptic features when using touchscreen. A paper manual to better (easier and quicker reference) document and explain all of the configuration options and controls available in this truck. I would like to see better controls on the steering wheel itself; many of the controls on there are ever used while driving (Drive Mode in particular). I would also like to see manual controls for trip mileage and mpg instead of having to navigate across multiple touchscreen layers to reset. Quicker responsiveness from the UConnect System (frequent lags when changing screens). Automatic rear window shades.Would also like to see more robust controls for the excellent audio system; a broader equalizer spectrum or specific sound environments (concert hall, auditorium, jazz club, etc.), for example. And I really do wish I had the option for a larger bed size with an accompanying longer wheelbase for an even better ride. I would also like to see a fully retractable rear window (such as Toyota has on their Tundras). I also wish it was possible to choose a different color scheme for the interior. This is a really great truck so far. My only real negative is how easily the touchscreen captures fingerprints which eventually mask the screen contents if the light reflections are just right; this has happened to me several times so far. Perhaps a different coating on the glass or improved shading in the design could help mitigate this. I'm looking forward to seeing how the first 100,000 miles go...
Hey Kirk one of things I learned about the screen is that is integrated with the main screen and let’s say you want to find a restaurant while your driving your passenger can actually find the restaurant then send it to the main screen navigation system and have you navigate to the restaurant, not sure if that changes your mind but I thought it was cool feature
I ordered the same color with every option except for block heater! For the price you are going to pay for it you might as well LOAD IT OUT!it looks better with the tow/haul mirrors. A luxury vehicle in my opinion suppose to be quiet with all the bells and whistles. My only question is when will RAM start building the TUNGSTEN? It was supposed to been in the first quarter. The only thing I don’t like about the truck they give you a cheap Tonneau cover that come standard with it. Oh yeah, they still have the best tailgate in the game.
Very nice looking truck! Tons of technology…….that’s awesome! The question is ….how reliable is all this technology going be and what will it cost to repair when it malfunctions out of warranty ????
If I were in Charge of Stellantis- RAM quality would be applied across the board to Dodge and Chrysler. I'm strongly considering getting a 2025+ 4 door, and would love to see some of this quality carry over.
Lot's of haters still crying about no V8 or affordability issues thinking this should be a 28K truck. Based on this review this appears to be a job very well done by RAM.
@@Mshi- I don't doubt it. The folks I'm referring to are those w/ '24 and older RAM V8's. I took one ride in my neighbors Tremor w/ the EcoBoost and was sold on the TT 6.
The Ram box is also a ice chest on the Limited Night Edition. I imagine it is on this truck as well. You can also keep a hunting rig Ike in it , without the ice of course. It is water proof
Exactly I just bought a 25 ram tungsten still isn’t in the dealership yet there’s no other pick up truck that holds a candle to it from 0 to 60 time to luxuriousness or handling or ride quality or technology and I’m so sick of hearing about no VAVA I’d rather have a V6 with more horsepower gas mileage
Good Review Sir! I'm looking to buy one here in Texas same exact color. This truck or F-150 King Ranch...the need for premium fuel is bummer for RAM but LOTS of power
Nowadays they use Aisin transmissions so those are bulletproof. I’d say, it’s better bang for your buck than the Fords and Chevys because those two brands are way too expensive for the package they offer. Ram is at least somewhat in touch with reality when it comes to pricing.
Well the engine/transmission have been a combo for the last 3 years with almost no issues so I assume reliability is built in from the factory. Listen, I’ve had several rams with the 5.7 over the years and I can say there are consistent issues over the life of the last gen rams I have noticed.
@@KirkKreifels yes. They are fixing the problem. Chrysler would just wait until it was out of warranty and ignore you. If you don't know the difference between how Toyota operates and how Chrysler operates, I don't know what to tell you

Dude, the engine is a ok engine and the transmission isn’t any Fiat garbage. It’s a proper Aisin transmission. This is the most promising and most bang for buck truck out of the Detroit Three brands.
Thank you for this review. Can't believe they haven't enabled full screen Android auto, that is ridiculous. Would it make you mad that Apple Carplay DOES use the full screen? 🤬. Would like to get a review of the new auto drive stuff on divided highways. And maybe a side by side comparison of the Harmon vs the new Klipsch Reference Premier. Thanks again.
Question is there a lot of heat coming in from the roof being glass? I’m in south Florida considering the sun is brutal down here I’d be worried about leaving it in the sun
At this price it better be available with the front bench style seating, reclining rear seats, full size 6'7" bed, larger gas tank and the split tailgate. Please let me know if it will be possible to order it that way. Thank so much for your help.
The front bench seat is likely only available at Lower trims. When I went to shop for a RAM this year, I think only a Warlock I saw had the bench seating up front. When you get to the start of their luxury trims (Rebel and up) you get their center console.
If they are able to keep the price in check on the ramcharger it will become a very popular option.Could be a best seller for ram . Another Factor will be if it qualifies for the tax credit.
So expensive just to get a V6 twine turbocharged is just crazy. In my opinion, they would be better off just putting all their time in make V8s more efficient. Not having a hemi just makes it a baby boys truck😂 I do really like the look and interior 😮

Can’t sell their $50-60K trucks so the logical solution is to offer one for $100K. Must have all gone to Ivy League business schools. They just don’t get it.
Can't say it's better , wait 3 years and 150000 miles later, better yet go to 200000 miles. Drive, do a real test. They all work great from the get go. lol no auto brake lol, really??? wow , it is hard work holding that pedal down for 20 seconds lol. wow.
A 6 cylinder! Hell no! Rather go get a Cadillac. I don’t spend enough time in my vehicles to pay that much for just a nice interior. I’ll stick with my GMC!
I really like the shift knob! That’s why RAM has the best cab and interior console setup! Think about those people have a clumsy episode and spill a beverage in where your cup holder is less than a foot from your console shifter. That’s going to cause a lot of problems. And we know warranty doesn’t cover that! I have a friend that has a 2024 luxury truck with a column shifter is always in the way when he is trying to touch the screen.

Dude, you just sold a thousand RAM Tungstens. Dang. I want one.
The new Tundra is a huge PoS
Everything is better than a tundra tbh
Yup, especially today when Toyota just announced an engine recall of 21-23 Tundras, about 98,600 of em.

Only 3 years warranty that tells you everything. Powertrain only 60k miles. So they are confident it will last you to 60,000 miles 😂.
So Kirk, when's the video on the tundra recall coming out?
Not interested.
You mean the 1 he posted the same day?
