Hi, it looked so easy to peel back from transfer tape. I made my first sticker today and it took me a while to transfer it to something else. do you use cricut strongGrip transfer tape or something else?
Cricut Vinyl Transfer Tape
Don’t use strong grip. Strong grip is only best for glitter vinyl, you would want the standard cricut transfer tape. If you use strong grip on foil vinyl it will be a bugger to get off.

There are a lot of alternative products. These are the ones I purchase locally. But the brand name is Cricut they also make the materials.

hi there! was this a cardboard box? How did the box not ruin when removing the tape while applying the vinyl? wanting to test this but am worried that I will ruin my boxes in the process
The boxes have a smooth coating on them and the adhesive is not like tape it more like 3M adhesive it removes easily from smooth surfaces. I don't think it would remove as well from materials like krape paper, raw paper, or matte finishes.
Is the vinyl expensive?? There is such a lot of waste😳
I know right? I cringed at the wastage :S even if the vinyl wasn’t expensive I still would of tried to make less waste out of my vinyl. But each to our own I guess.
Those stickers could have been spaced much closer together for sure. Like literally a hair apart. Not sure why she spaced them so far apart, but definately you can get do much more out of that vinyl.
I bought my vinyl sheets from a supplier for 67 cents each regular color. The foil was 2.75
It's been a while since I purchased it but it's reasonably priced in comparison to having them professional imprinted not he boxes. So if you need to make stickers for a lot of boxes the DIY cost is still more affordable.

no. But there are many different kinds so look for one the fits the size you need.
Hi Shauna, we would like to transfer foil from cricut to leather, similar to what you do with the box. We have a couple of questions if you don't mind. Are you using heat transfer foil or it is actually vinyl sticker? If you stick it to leather, does it peal off easily, like in a couple of days, or it would stay for months? I mean, would it be the same as embossing with foil? Thank you.
Gemma Dunjó Denti To add to leather, you'd need heat transfer vinyl. I tried it on a faux leather bag at low temp with an iron and its still in place a few weeks on :) I just used regular silver htv.
It's vinyl adhesive material so it's sticky on one side.
Can someone tell what is the difference between vinyl and adhesive foil, please?
Both vinyl and foil are adhesive which means the back side is sticky and they come in a various colors.

The vinyl can be a matte or shinny finish the foils is metallic in finish.

ju dunno yes Moo offers golf foil printing for business cards but you will need to use a vector based design program like Adobe InDesign to achieve the best results. As well as bold style fonts.
