im an automotive painter, and I have to admit this wrap right here makes me jealous of vinyl wrap which is pretty rare. This finish is above and beyond what I would have expected, no texture and beautiful metallic in the finish. Excited for the future of wraps, and I may have to give it a shot sometime soon.
I just had the local shop order this film for me as I have a M3P and think this is sick. I've had the vivvid platinum ghost purple for the past two years and think its time for a long term change. Thanks for this CK always great content.
Man, so good to see how the PPF has improved over the years, since I do PPF on all my cars, this is a no brainer when the time comes to change out the old PPF with a new protection as well as a new color, not to mention the gloss finish looks insane.
Man that color and finish is just unreal. I just picked up their swatches and I'm excited to mess around with it. I'll be definitely watching your videos on this install on your site. Great job as always!
100x more difficult. He had to be sponsored. I own a ppf/Vinyl shop and this stuff is miserable. Took CK like 40 minutes to do the hood. That would be a 10 minute install max in vinyl or ppf/standard colored PPF(would have to let edges dry)
How long does it last? I have been looking into this PPF since your first video on it. I'm waiting to see what other colours they come out with before placing my order.
Stunning! I want to see more of the color variations they have on a big area, it’s so hard to see on the small sheets, and then it’s all the metallics, the carbon fiber sounds interesting, also the red metallic you mention and if they have a orange metallic. That could be similar to the one I post on your Facebook. Amazing job, love every video you post. As you share so much information and techniques how to wrap. By far the best wrapper in overall on UA-cam, always so humble. Maybe I miss it in previously videos, how does the wrap looks like if you overstretch it ? What happens with it. How does it react.
On topic: This looks stunning... Off topic: Going to do a Tesla Model X somewhere in July. Do you have videos on WHERE to do inlays and overlays on the Model X?
Hey CK I’ve been watching your videos for some time now & I’m planning on wrapping my Honda in Avery gloss black but I’ve seen in your videos there’s abit of adhesive in the vinyl, do you have any recommendations as far as brand for a gloss black? Thank you
CK have you heard of a paint-match film made by ColorX Labs? It's basically Avery but with custom paint match to any paint code, and it's a bit thicker than normal, I think it's kinda like this stuff.
This sounds SOO HARD TO INSTALL! Is it different that traditional PPF ? Is it more like vinyl? You said it's got Air release ,how about memory , and you said only 15% stretch? Sick color too
The first 1-2 panels were a learning curve but after that it started going down easier. It had a similar memory when comparing to cast or polymeric. Staying within 10-15% stretch is important to maintain the maximum gloss effect but stretching it a little more isn't very noticeable. I suppose that would depend on the color itself
How much does this amazing product cost. That is some awesome material. Non directional and insane clarity. I've got to get the Purple. CK the Greatest Wrapper Alive! This PPF actually makes the car look good, Like adding Rims!
if it self heals on scratches and rock chips, I'm pretty sure it can handle pressure wash. And it needs maintenance in order to make it last long but seeing as the webside offers a 5 year warranty, it should last at least 5 -10 years.
I see that you've done boats, motorcycles, cars.. how about planes(I'm not talking about the massive ones or so, but the smaller like helicopters)? :D I'd say that would be also a challenge for you a bit, either way nice video
Are you having a problem finding available vinyl? I’m a newly certified installer and have been various distributors that are having trouble getting stock. It’s become super annoying when I 99% of my customers can’t get any of the colors they want. I’m losing my mind over trying to find vinyl. 😵💫
Looks great! They are not too far from where I live here in AZ. Currently I have 2 cars with Xpel and 2 cars with Inozetech Chalk Grey and Inozetech Mamba Green. This is interesting indeed
*hi friend, you never show how to finish the inner fold of the mirrors. Why not put the camera very close and teach us that too? in detail? Because I know several wrappers that do the same as you but make a mistake in the finish, it would be great for you to make a video explaining this and send a hug to me (marcel garage stuff in the video, like dedication), hug brother.*
So i called them because i own an automotive business and i was interested in becoming a customer but they said 1600 for one roll..bruh that’s CRAZY idc how good it looks. That’s literally 3 times the average cost i pay, sometimes i pay more depending on the finish obviously and sometimes less but never 3x..no.

Dude. You are the best! Great work, great video. I’m a fan now. Haha!
Super Dope Family! I’ve installed tint since the early 90s and that PPF is Crazy Hot!
As a forum member I just want to reiterate that I would LOVE to see more of this film.

Can you use Knifeless tape?
Does this PPF work more or less the same way as a vinyl wrap? If I apply it over a beige color car, can the car paint be seen through this film?
I mean.. We've all been following the future of wrap for years haven't we? His name is CK Wraps.

Can gloss wraps compare to painted with ceramic coatings for gloss?
Amazing man.
damn this is NOICE! need a dealer for it in Hawaii!
🔥 looks great !
Learned something new. I was supposed to wet apply the gloss carbon I did on my car. Ahhh well. Sold the car. I'll know for next time.
