Hi Christian, the reason the narrower sample of Inozetek tunneled, was because of one thing for sure, and another thing possibly. The narrower sample of Inozetek was not sent to you on a cardboard core. If they had just wrapped it up by hand that's what's going to happen. Another reason COULD be that there wasn't enough steam applied to the vinyl as it went through the face pass of the adhesive coater. Because paper is very porous it will absorb moisture. With Inozetek using a plastic backing ( liner ) it needs no steam applied to it because plastic typically repels water, it doesn't absorb it. Inozetek's use of a plastic liner could raise the price of their product. But with the end result being the most glossy of all of the samples, it could be the best best in the long run. My best, Scott
Chris this has got to be the best comparison videos I've seen for wrap!! Amazing job bro. Color doesn't matter when it comes to orange peel and level of glossiness.
Thank you for the helpful content getting ready to wrap my dad's harley going to get some cheap wrap and practice of some odd spare parts I've got sitting around the garage
It's a fair point to mention the finish, but I'd care about the overall quality of the vinyl itself more than the finish. A little orange peel for a higher quality vinyl would be fine with me. Cheaper finer might look prettier finish wise but it won't last as long.
Glad I ordered Vvivid, I looked into Inozetek but the lack of color variety, price and how difficult it is to get for a normal person pushed me to Vvivid. I got Demon Black Gloss.
I just used the 2080 recently and like the way it wraps now versus the old 1080. Huge improvement. Finish not the best in Gloss but I prefer the Satins anyways. That Inozetek wraps like KPMF, no stick until heat and heals the same way.
Can you do a video on where and how to buy vinyl? I’m trying to practice before starting an LLC but places like 3m have asked for company name before checking prices. What companies to trust? Which ones to absolutely avoid?
This really sold me on the Inozetek. Especially if you are going tor the shiny chrome like finish. Though it is all up to the artist to decide what the finish should be. Good or bad in other people's opinion.
I have decided to wrap my 69 Corvette. My friend was a bodyman for 25 years and he has been color sanding it so the finish is 100% flat. The problem is there are a lot of dings and imperfections. Rather than have him spot paint all those imperfections I figured I would wrap the whole car. However, the last thing I want to do is wrap it in a bunch of orange peel. This video was UNBELIEVABLY helpful.
this stuff apparently came out in October....and then I legit just found out about it earlier today too coincidentally...weird. Oh yeah and Avery's red is "carmine red" btw ;)
I mean, that was a great video, thank you- but you never hit the black 3m 2080 on top with heat so of course it looked terrible....that being said... I loved the Inozetek!
I'm a sucker for white and I think Vvivid is the only one offering the gloss white sparkle that similar to pearl white paint. Other brands either just gloss white or excessive diamond flakes on them
THANK YOU. I have been trying to describe this to non-vinyl installers who want their car wrapped. Although 3M and Avery are popular and very easy to use, it does NOT mean that it is the best. Personally I never recommend to go with those brands if I can help it just because I prefer a clearer/ glossier wrap that look better when installed. I find that since they are extremely thin they show every imperfection on the paint as well, and as someone who wraps mostly drift cars, we try to do minimal prep since they're going to get re-wrapped so often and I prefer a thicker material which usually have higher gloss finishes.
What wrap do you use then? im trying to wrap my car but cant really afford the top teir ones do you have any that you could suggest if you had to go budget?
Where about is your shop? I used to live in Toronto about 20 years ago and worked in a vinyl shop based in Markham and your videos look incredibly like the same building I worked in (although that could be said about many different business parks in Toronto). Inozetek is not that best quality, they just have nice finishes. It's about the same as say Tinybot. I'd consider the overall quality of the vinyl itself more so than the finish unless you're going to keep it on for a short period of time. If you want it to hold up and last, get 3M or Avery.

I believe that u didn't remove the plastic cap on the black 2080 . Please do correct me sir
Do this test with the same colors. That would show a good side by side. Either way...great review as usual. Thanks
What does the color have to do with anything? We're looking at the REFLECTION on the vinyl. The green looks like a mirror.
I agree, the same colors would be more transparent. Get it 😏

Just curious why you didn't use all the same colors of the different brands as that would be a clearer comparison
no need to use the same hue... don't you see the reflections shown?
Color has no effect on orange peel or gloss. A 3M gloss red is going to be the same as a 3M gloss black.
@@balloney2175 He should've used the metallic gloss finishes to compare it with inozetek and vvivvid instead of flat gloss. Not a fair comparison
