How is the negotiation with the brand done? Do you buy the product at all? How do you determine the % you touch if you don't?
Would it be a good ideea to do this type of business in Uk?what about Europe?
And if so what tips do u offer to search in JS Web app?how to find the brands what numbers to search for?
Am I right in saying that you FIRST become one of the sellers of the product and get some runs on the board selling via the existing listing BEFORE reaching out to wholesalers for potential exclusive selling rights?

But how do you manage the sales between the company wholesale and amazon customer that purchases the product ? is there a software to automate the process?
And do amazon enable you to edit the exitant list of product ?
That's the beauty of FBA → Fulfilled by Amazon. This lets you ship your products from the manufacturer ▶️ to an Amazon Fulfillment Center ▶️to the end customer!

what if you have multiple product on your account, All those products are from different manufactures. Dont you need an extra account for different manufacturers?
Typically would the wholesalers be sending the products direct to the FBA warehouse for us, or would we as the sellers need to be using a third party logistics company for this?

As an example: If you originally are in the buy box, and then you are taken out of the buy box (for example multiple sellers lower their prices, and your price no longer fall with 2% of the lowest price), is there a way to see if you are in the buy box or not? Is this something that has to be monitored VERY closely?

At approx 53 mins you guys talk about buy box eligibility. This might be a bit of an advanced video for me as I'm researching how to start up but I don't understand how you knew that seller didn't have the sales to get the buy box. Can you explain how this works or point me to a video that explains it and how to get started? I am very interested in getting started but need to learn some more basics before jumping into this.
Sam here man, According to the Amazon article “Becoming Buy Box Eligible”, a seller must meet the following 3 conditions to be Buy Box Eligible: Type of selling account must be professional, metrics for late shipment, cancellation, etc. must be healthy, and the seller must have a sufficient order volume.
How do you get the items shipped to amazon? Do you enter the shipping info in your seller account and send them the label info?

I have tried doing the exact same steps that Dan talks about with the filters (roughly 36 minutes in) for the UK and the results that come up still include Sold by Amazon products...? I have contacted Jungle Scout support but it has not helped. Am I missing something here or are the filters not working correctly?
So first, note that Dan is using the filters for the US Market, the same criteria won't be applicable to the UK market as these are very different stores. If you want more info on specific numbers for the UK, 🇬🇧I recommend the #MillionDollarCaseStudy → jnglsct.com/mdcseuideas 💰 Now, not sure which results you got Scott, but it sounds as if you might have stumbled upon a few items that Amazon does sell, but they are not the owners of the buy box. You see, the type of seller option will filter out sellers that don't match your choice based *only* on the current Buy Box owner. Here's an example: ASIN B00WZO5ZYA → Currently, Amazon owns the Buy Box but there are other two sellers competing for it. If you'd set your filters to remove products sold by Amazon, then you wouldn't see this ASIN among your results since Amazon is the Buy Box owner. If the Buy Box were to change though, you would see this ASIN as Amazon would be among the available sellers, but not controlling the buy box. 🤓

I understand the two marketplaces are different but the only filters I am using are the following - Marketplace - UK, Category - Pet Supplies, Price - £10+, Sales - 50+, Sellers - 3+. I then tick the boxes for FBA and FBM, not the Amazon box though and then search.
This brings up the results and so I sort by Sales (as I want to see the best selling products). The first result I get is B003W5VDWO. The software says the seller is Vetimed and the price is £53.01. However, when you click on it, Amazon are controlling the buy box at £35.99. So it doesn't seem to be working like it does for Dan in the video.
Radio Shack has like 2 stores left in America!... I'm not sure the exact number, however, I know the internet has killed off a lot of the brick and mortar brand companies...lol

You said at 54:25 that one of the sellers is not buy box eligible. So do you have to make a certain number of sales before you become buy box eligible?

Can it be done from Canada. I'm from Canada and Canadian Market is really bad in Amazon so I will have to sell in U.S. do I have to find products from u.s.? Because Canadian prices are higher than u.s.

@@bling0rb007 How well are you doing. Thinking of starting out with a focus on retail and online arbitrage.
@@jcml6800 MOST people don't make it. I started one online store and end up losing 20k. Mainly my fault with bad leadership and didn't understand the industry.
Maybe things are different now. But 3 years ago when I started, it was already harder to compete with the competition.
So what I learned is, doesn't matter what product you sell. Start with one product that you're passionate about and stick with it for a year or two. You have to start it as a regular business online, build your brand and Royal customers with great customer service. I would recommend starting your own store on Shopify instead of Amazon. Too much noise in Amazon. If your customers, but mainly friends and Families don't want your own product, that's a very good sign that your product sucks and you need to improve on it by solving people's problem with your product.
But instead of starting a online store. It's better to build your fanbase on Instagram, Facebook or UA-cam in the niche of whatever product you want to sell. Then start your online store.

Jungle Scout ok thanks I have another question if I am from India and I want to do wholesale in USA am I eligible?
I like everything about this wholesale model but the problem is whenever I contact a supplier or distributor that sells branded products, they sent me wholesale catalog and their wholesale prices are so high(sometimes even higher than the retail prices on Amazon) . One cannot make any profit when the retail is cheaper than wholesale. You are not making any profit but more of a loss. So how do we solve this kind of situation. Hope someone can clarify this.

I agree with you man. I have contacted wholesaler, supplier and distributors that sell branded items and when they send their wholesale catalog, the wholesale prices are so high that one cant even make any profit at all but more of a loss. I have seen most of the times even the retail price is cheaper than wholesale so I m not sure how he is making profit. I m happy to make 15% profit but from my calculation, all my numbers were in negative for the profit column.
If the product has a good rank and is selling. Will the product sell quickly.. a day or two
There's really no way you can effectively assess how fast you can sell a product. Stick to the desired criteria (during the product research phase) and the recommended product launch strategies to increase your sales velocity.

I love how he said "we found 3 products to make you several grand a month in 10 minutes". Yeah... the problem is almost all brands don't want to sell to amazon sellers. Many of them require Brick & Mortar locations. I am not saying JS can't be helpful, but you're watching a very unrealistic expectation being portrayed in this video.
