    I stopped watching when they said they have been selling since 2011. Almost irrelevant to newbies. Instead, can you show more #SellerStories from new sellers. And also, maybe show some stories of people who have NOT been successful so we can get a more realistic picture than just seeing succesful outliers. Transparency is key! Many Thanks.

      The best transparency is trying it out yourself and learning from trial and error. But then again, not everyone is willing to sacrifice their hard earned money for a better future, yet they're willing to toss it at bars every weekend and stay stagnant in life. The best business lessons are when you lose money😉

    I prefer experienced sellers because it gives me an understanding of systems that I need to implement either now or in the future like Prep services, creating a S corporations compared to LLC. With artificial intelligence taking jobs, and so many retail stores shutting down Sears, Circuit City, Toys-R-Us it's important for our business to adapt fast, with very little interruption...making us less vulnerable to a recession. These new warehouses and manufacturing plants are operating with robots and one technician.... this alone cuts the cost of distribution. As an Amazon Seller you have a front-line seat to creating a business that makes you recession proof. If you give up within the first 5 minutes...then you missed the value of 32.52 minutes which included cutting cost by adopted better business strategies to ensure your company has more longevity and success. I like Jungle Scout...because they adapt to our business model. Thank you, Irene

    Amazing information. May I know if the amazon wholesale business is profitable in the UK or it's best to do it only in the USA?

    • @junglescout
      @junglescout  3 роки тому +1

      Hmmm 🤔
      Amazon.uk is quite established, it has less competition, but it's still a smaller market...
      As a company, Amazon does focus their commercial growth towards the US market, which is very strong and has a larger customer base (which can be quite beneficial for a seller) 😃
      Whether you choose to sell locally or on Amazon.com will depend on your personal choice, resources, goals, among other factors! - LJ

      @@junglescout what about German market ?

    Selling retail arbitrage on amazon UK does not work it only take one person to even mention your item is fake and unless you have the manufacturer to back you up your account is gone.

    • @junglescout
      @junglescout  5 років тому

      Personally, we prefer the Private Label & #AmazonFBA business models precisely because you can have complete control over your product/listing. 😉 Retail arbitrage can be a good way to get your Amazon business launched and gain experience, though, but it looks like this model will gradually become more difficult as Amazon continues to tighten the rules.

      Hi...you know previously I thought retail arbitrage was not my cup of tea. Until I went to New Zealand and realized that building materials in most cases had a 300% markup. Yes...not a typo 300%. So this year...I'm starting a new branch in New Zealand. I would've never had this level of expertise of purchasing from China.... the Junglescout team have truly been my lifeline to new business strategies...not only in Amazon but manufacturing etc. Personally, I have nothing but good things to say about JS team. Whoop! whoop!

    Dude I am so nervous about starting an Amazon FBA business. I lost my job a month ago and I am not wanting to go back into the JOB (Just Over Broke) rat race. I have some savings, but hearing the stories of huge losses from some that tried it. What these guys said, too, it takes a long time to begin earning a profit, my wife would not support it at all.

    • @junglescout
      @junglescout  2 роки тому

      It is true that sometimes, it takes time before seeing profit, as with every business, you need to invest into your business first! We would really recommend to have a source of income, and after you start generating profit from FBA, then dedicate yourself to Amazon in 100% ^PW

    What range of mark-up do brands typically have on their goods they sell to wholesalers? COGS + 20%? or something?

    • @junglescout
      @junglescout  5 років тому +1

      There's the "keystone markup" which is usually recommended to new, small businesses. This is basically a 100% markup that, essentially, doubles the price: cost * 2 = selling price 💰
      But, pricing can be much more complex so wholesalers also keep tabs on things like the competition, industry's standard, & how much customers are willing to pay. 🏷️
