- Welcome back, everyone! In today's video, we're diving into painting Thousand Sons Terminators from the Combat Patrol box. We'll start with some minor conversions to make these models stand out, swapping the standard weapons for spears from an old Warhammer Fantasy kit. This quick customization sets the stage for a unique and eye-catching unit.
Next, we'll tackle the painting process, starting with a zenithal prime using red and blue primers. This technique creates striking shadows and highlights, giving the models a dynamic look. We'll enhance these effects with careful dry brushing and contrast washes, resulting in vibrant armor that pops on the tabletop.
For the final details, we'll black out the weapons and trim, apply dark and bright gold highlights, and add rich, shifting metallic effects to the weapons to capture the mystical essence of Tzeentch. By the end, you'll have a stunning 5-person unit of Thousand Sons Terminators ready for battle.
