I had numbness in my hands, wrists that hurt, then the pain moved to elbow and sometimes shoulder. Not sure what the physiological cause was, but it seemed to be that I was too cold which limited my circulation. When I applied heat each day to my arm and hands, then the pain went away. Recently I learned more about the lymphatic system. It seems logical to me that my lymph system was not draining properly, causing a buildup of "trash". The heat stimulated my lymph and allowed it to carry away the "trash", thereby relieving my pain. Just my theory. But my pain did not seem to be caused from a pinched nerve at all.

I was in Ecuador in 2000 with my friend who had spinal cord surgery. His nerve therapist fixed the lump under my shoulder blade by holding the 2 bones in my shoulder and rotating my arm side aside than up in a circle. The lump of scar tissue popped out and I felt a shooting tingle down the back of my arm to my pinky fingers. Is they stayed numb for about 5 hours. After that everything healed up and went just fine it was like a miracle 15 years of pain gone in one twitch.

Thanks, I figured out myself my hand pain was coming from neck, though it seems liked only carpel tunnel was involved at first. But then I had, in both hands at the same time, the same fingers, the same progression of numbness and pain.
An hour or so of numbness and pain centered on ring finger, for example, then simultaneously in both hands migration of that pain to the middle finger!
That bizarre simultaneous copy of sensations in both hands made me realize the cause had to be coming from a different source than my individual writes. ... I should be working on, but my neck or back also, and on inflammation generally regarding diet.
I was hoping you guys would show exercises we victims of this very painful ordeal could use. Maybe on another video!

I hope you guys see this - I was recommended to search your collection and this is the closest I've come. I have numbness through my whole right chest, over my shoulder and shoulder blade, down my arm to my fingers. I fell asleep on the couch at a funny angle about 2 weeks ago and have had this since. There is NO pain, but I get a phantom itch in two spots at the edge of the numbness that either comes right back or disappears when I touch it but then comes right back. I've heard that this might be from a damaged or irritated nerve. I went to the orthopedist and they x-rayed my neck, which showed nothing pinched but my spine was stick straight which they think is being caused by a muscle spasm. They prescribed a dose of Prednisone to treat any inflammation and said to come back in two weeks if it hasn't gone away on its own, but they don't have an opening for a while. I have a physical with my GP this Saturday and plan on mentioning it then, but I was hoping there's some exercise or stretching I can do to help start getting the feeling back. Please help!!
Edited to add, this is constant and doesn't change with positions or how I sleep

I suffer unbearable tingling pain in both hands whenever I wake up. Some time ago I was diagnosed with carpal tunnel which was the start of terrible tingling in the hands. Surgery was only 50% successful and I was advised to leave it at that. After that an M.R.I. , which was advised by a neurologist, showed that I had cervical spine stenosis. Being 79, I was advised not to undergo surgery, which is questionable for even a healthy youngster, but just to accept it, but I’m finding it unbearable, especially as I suffer from panic disorder too. I find it impossible to get up before 10-11am. I have begun a session of IDD treatment. After one session (they say I need about 10-15, £80 per session) I have found no relief whatsoever. I will try some exercises which are on some of these utubes.

I've been getting random numbness in my hand and fingers on my right hand. I massage inner arm where my arm (between bi/tricep) and shoulder meet. I'm guessing it's the nerve running down. Numbness goes away temporarily until I do it a couple times.

I only feel tingling in my left arm.
And I only feel it when I put harder pressure on my palm. Push-ups for example. And this morning, I bent down left-wise and felt a larger flash of tingliness just from that.
My right arm is completely unaffected.
    Any ideas fellas?

Hello guys, thanks for the video. I have a question for you. My son is 15 and a high school wrestler. After a match on Sat. he has been having in issue with his forearm going numb. He says his fingers are ok, it's just his forearm. It will do it maybe 8 times a day and last from 45 seconds up to 2 minutes. We took him to our family doctor yesterday and they didn't really offer any suggestions or treatment. They said it could have been trauma from the match and they suggested rest and no wrestling for a week. Needless to say my son is home from school today because it is still happening it's been going on 4 days now. He says it doesn't hurt but it's scary when it happens and he kinda panics. I would really appreciate any advice or thoughts you might have on this. My wife and I are at a loss on how to help him or where to take him to get the help he needs. We are considering taking him to the ER for another opinion. Thanks for any help.

Brad & Bob, I have a lot of tingling and numbness in my hands throughout the day and especially at night! I had a carpal tunnel test 2 years ago that was negative. I had a neck MRI and it showed mild to moderate neck arthritis. I'm concerned about this issue as I read an article that said if your hands go numb or "offline" often enough, the feeling may not fully come back. What are some solutions to remedy this??

My whole muscle in my arm running parallel with that red nerve is tight. It started 4 weeks ago. I changed my mouse to a thicker mouse with additional side buttons I use for copy and paste all day long. I began using this new thicker mouse in February. If it’s not that then it could be a sharp cornered desk. Laying my forearm flat on the desk causes tingling. New desk in 2 weeks and hope that helps the tingling go away. Should I be worried about the tingling? I don’t want it for life.

Thanks so much for your video, wonder if you could help me with a question, my husband has had constant numbing and tingling in his hands, the emg says its not carpal, he has also had a cervical fusion and the numbing and tingling still there. I was wondering if there is a chance if really tight forearms can cause constant numbing and tingling in hands? So I massaged his forearms and his hands became more numb and more tingling. What would this mean? Sorry about the long question but hes pretty frustrated not knowing why his hands are constantly numb and nobody knows what to do
