What are your clocks if you don't mind me asking. I'm doing similar and temps are the same. But clock fluctuations are between 5.2 and 5.1despite being set to 5.5
@@JAKLAR79 might have something to do with AVX instructions, since cinebench uses avx and when avx is in use by default I think it’s -3 which translates to -300mhz.

13900k is easy as pie, -0.100V and go to town. I’m getting 41k in cb23 still on DDR4. Max temp 85C after and hour of looping with a basic 360 aio. Out of the box it was hitting 100C.
@@FBrasco Its one from EK I've had for years. It has no RGB or anything and its been on probably 25 different CPUs. Still works decently, but its not as good as some of the newer stuff in terms of flow rate. I think its called the 360 basic or something similar.
did you turn off MCE or did you tweak any other settings at all? i had some struggles getting my 13900k below 100c but now i am simply sticking to turning off MCE and using boxed cooler setting as cooler tuning on my MSI mobo + i am using pl1 & pl2 at 253w and am now around max 90c but only achieved 34k points in cb23 :(

My settings: MCE off, PL1 and PL2 limit to 225, limit P-core boost to 5.3 GHz and E-core boost to 4.0GHz, and use balanced power profile in Windows (although I do disable core parking to keep system highly responsive). Oh and just XMP on the RAM. I didn’t change voltage or LLC values.
My 13900ks hit 40,000+ score easy on Cinebench r23, undervolted at 1.3v. Spent 30 seconds on bios. It's sitting underneath thermalright contact frame and Arctic liquiz freezer II 420mm. Max temp was 92 C. Hot, but not thermal throttled. Stable. Can't complain.

When it does that, the core clock speed immediately drops to protect itself, which completely defeats the purpose of having a 13900ks. As long as it doesn't thermal throttle, I can remain above 6ghz+ CONSISTENTLY. That's the whole point. I cannot thermal throttle it anymore. What intel doesn't tell you is that 13th gen will kill itself around 160 Celsius. They thermal throttle limit you at 100c, just so it will last for years.

Yall crazy. Mine was 4200 for the whole system, but I have a i913900ks, 4090, 32gb 6000mhz ddr5 ram, hyte y60 case and a 1200watt power supply, with a $500 motherboard and that price also includes $300 in peripherals

@@Catmeowy I'm not sure what you mean. This CPU gives you the options to adjust as you like. Still getting great performance with a lot less heat is still great performance.

You can get 39800 range if you use the +1 bin and adaptive modes. I was able to do this only hitting 88-89c with out using the (90c) cap MCE. Then I updated my bios and can't duplicate it grrr
I have the Apex Encore and I also have this setting available to me. My concern is will this make my CPU work harder in low demanding tasks like reading an article or watching a UA-cam video?

Not all motherboards have this feature. This is in the thermal limits section in the BIOS for this motherboard. Be sure to update your BIOS if you feel you should have this feature for your particular board.
Do you recommend undervolting? I actually tweaked my 13900K by dropping the voltage, now the CPU gives 5.5 GHZ on P-Cores and 4.3 on E Cores and the degree stays between 88 to 92 C , but the fans and pump are maxed out.
@@ChrisMG. Then order a Cryo Cooler from Cooler master. It's a 360mm using Cryo Technology that can keep your CPU at or below ambient temperatures. It will pull about 200 watts but it's really the best way to go with a 13900K. I'm still using my 360mm with 6 fans in push pull and my temps run from 78 degrees to 82 degrees when gaming. I never overclock this CPU because it will get to hot and it's already fast enough.

You saying don't use them is typical bullshit I shouldn't have to be subjected to having them off or not using them. How about just sell the part plain and those who want it can pay the extra they already are, to have the company install it
I just disabled multi core enhancement altogether with a -0.04 undervolt and Im getting 38.5k in cinebench and hovering around 87

Better to disable multicore enhancement and set a voltage offset of -0.050. I get above 40k on cinebench with temps in the low to mid 80's.

What intel doesn't tell you is that 13th gen will kill itself around 160 Celsius.
They thermal throttle limit you at 100c, just so it will last for years.

Well... Your hardware is way overpowered for just running Fortnite, which is why your temps are nice and low.

I use ryzen 5 5600 and it jumps to 75° when I play cyberpunk on 1080p medium settings with no ray tracing on so I wonder if it is and stick cooler
75 C° is normal when gaming if it's above 80 C° it's not ok

If your using a 360mm Radiator try adding 3 more fans in a push/pull configuration. It made a difference for me.

Disable mce it’s pointless and you will save few degrees
Basically the same as Zen 4, which is disappointing as AMD have lost their efficiency trying to battle 13th gen.
At that point they didn’t care about efficiency no more but still lost the battle to Intel
