Cool, I've similar build. But it so uncommon that a 4 slots motherboard takes ddr5 8000 at first try and without any issue... at least that's what your video suggests. Did you have any issue with xmp profile set at 8000 MHz?

I have my first all white full tower build with the gigabyte aero oc 4090/ 7800x3d/ 64 gigs of ddr5 in the white phanteks nv7. The pc looks insane and is a beast.
Sounds almost like what my build is looking like except I have the i9 14 as opposed to the amd CPU. I almost got that one as I have seen everywhere that it’s excellent paired with 4090 for gaming. But I needed the intel for a little bit more. Build is almost done. I can’t decide on a mobo so that’s really the hold up for me at the moment.
@@Little_Bitz if the build is all white get a silver or white or silver and white motherboard. There are a decent amount of options for x670 or b650 motherboards. The x670e gigabyte arous pro x which I think looks the best besides my motherboard which is the nzxt b650e or other gigabyte b650 motherboards and asus motherboards. Also the x670e steel legend. I would say if you want the extra features go with the x670e but if you dont need the extras go with a b650 or a b650e. I picked the b650e nzxt board because it is white and black and I only use my pc for gaming so it is more then enough for me. Oh I almost forgot welcome to the 4090 crew lol.

Nice build. I am on the Meg Z790 Ace motherboard with the same Intel i9-14900k, and have used the Intel XTU app, but I still hit thermal throttling phases. The OC feature within the BIOS is off. All tuning is done by Intel XTU. Cooler is and MSI AIO 360. But, I have 4 inflow fans, 3 exhaust on the radiator for CPU system, and one exhaust in the back. You have more fans. Wonder if that makes the difference in cooling it better.

How is this PC still running? After hearing about all the issues with the high end chips from 13th and 14th gen Intel, I held off earlier this year but allegedly, Intel has resolved them.
1000w psu, I would have gone little higher with 1200w- 1300w just to give yourself some overhead. I know its not needed but always nice to have more, than reaching the limit of your power supply.
Yah. I have no idea why it’s crashing everything. I’m not the only one either that it’s happening to. Yahoo wrote an article about all the issues and the issues are connected to DirectX errors as well. It’s a big enough problem that there are plenty of people complaining about it. I have an NZXT Player Three Prime rig.
How are you liking the AIO for this setup? I have 4090 and 14900K and ppl keep saying go water system for cooling instead of AIO. I was going to buy a 360 or 420 since I already have 10 case fans and it’s a very large case with lots of room inside.
If you're using your PC for ONLY gaming then neither. In gaming R7 7800x3D is cheaper, has better thermals (easy as shit to cool) and has the same level of performance, if not better, as the R9 7950x3D. NOTE: This is assuming the 7950x3D's thread scheduling works on the games you're playing, which isn't always the case - R9 7950x3D will end up performimg worse than R7 7800x3D on some games. You would only look at the R9 7950x3d or I9 14900k if you were looking to do some intense productivity tasks on the side, such as 4k Video Editing or CAD work etc, in which case I would say the 14900k cause its cheaper and has more cores.

I am finally accepting I need to make a tower PC like this one, but I really only play WoW Classic. All I need/want is the PC to stay cool, while I run the game at max graphics and it plays super smooth (like I see in the streams). Is there ANY HOPE for a PC noob like me?

he does not have more fans. the nv5 has 8 fans, and you also have 8 fans.

It's been great so far! You don't need custom watercooling imo, 360mm works totally fine haven't had any throttling.
