Great job Shawn, love how you’re stepping up your game, demos are looking greater than ever. Couldn’t help but notice the viper on your monitor, you a car guy too? Love to try one of these wah pedals! Cheers
I tried a bunch of Dunlop Wha's 95Q ,,,even the CAE Wha & sent them all back the CAE broke on me after a week. I used Morley 70's Wha then a Bad Horsey on stage because reg Wha's I'd sometime leave it on by mistake, but I wanted to get a better Wha tone for studio I love the Friedman it also can be switched to true bypass or use the buffer thats said to be a good buffer.
Just got this wah yesterday, and it is the best wah I've ever owned. I've had Hendrix, Dimebag, Classic, 535Q, Morley Tremonti, regular crybaby and Morley Bad Horsie wah pedals. All of which are in my collection. But this is about the pinnacle of wah pedals. It is so vocal and responsive. Plus it has the three way switch and all positions sound fantastic. Unlike the Dime Wah, which in my opinion has too many knobs so you are always trying to get a better tone, this is super easy to set up and use. Plus it has the LED and an internal switch so you can choose true bypass or a buffer. I'd give it a 10. It's everything I want in a wah wah pedal.
I Bought one of these and was very unimpressed. Cheap pcb construction, cheap miniature potentiometer, and big volume drop when switched on. My Real McCoy RMC3 and BBE Ben Wah absolutely blow this Friedman wah out of the water in terms of sound and construction. Overpriced and disappointing
Great demo Shawn. Great sounding wah pedal, however, ever since I switched to “switchless” wah pedals, i can never go back. I started out with a morely power wah,but it didn’t have the tone of the crybabys,so i switched to the crybaby 95q. Sure my CAE mxr mc404 wah sounds better(very similar to the friedman no more tears), but the switchless pot is the best for gigging hands down, and the 95q gets me in the ballpark tone wise. GreT demo!
Shawn, do all the amps in the background have the speaker connections all hooked up. I was just wondering how much of a pain it is to hook them up when they are on a shelf like that.
All of the amps are being routed to my Ampete 88s Switcher. It allows me to choose between up to 8 amps and 8 cabinets and has been an amazing workflow time saver! That being said, I had to run cables to the inputs of the 6 amps and speakers outs as well as cables from the switcher to the Ox and cabinets. Lots of cables indeed but well worth it!
Hey Shawn, this is the only one of two wah pedals I have not tried. Though the last few I tried were supposed to be " True Bypass, " I still hear noticeable loss of Highs . How is this one for Tone Suck ??
Shawn, for a clean amp like the fender deluxe reverb, what would be your favorite choice for an overdrive, boost combination. I have the Vertex dynamic distortion and the vertex boost but looking for a more dirtier sound with more sustain”. I bought my fender amp about two months ago but after hearing those Divided by 13 amps I wish I would’ve purchased it instead. Thanks
I've got the stock open back 2x12 cab that came with the amp and it's loaded with a Cele G12H Anniversary and an Alnico Blue. For the last couple of years now I've been running all of my amps into my Bogner 2x12 closed back cab loaded with Cele V30's. The majority of the demos I do now are all through the Universal Audio OX box.
Shawn Tubbs you’re such a cool dude!! Thanks for taking the time to respond. Definitely sets you apart from the majority of musicians with busy schedules. You are #1 in my top 3 favorite guitarist!! Have a blessed day!

I returned this right after trying it. It chatters on the switch when you move it, very annoying, not good clearance between the pedal and switch, never seen any wah do this. It is not just mine, another guy did a video and complained of the same thing. All these videos are ignoring the fact this wah is NOT well build and feels rather cheesy when you try and work it, the noise of hitting the switch while moving it is beyond ignoring. Bull talk for a one eyed fat man, Friedman is taking us for a ride while he goes out to eat on our dime. This is a terrible pedal. Great buffer, nice led on, modes are OK not great. Other wahs are much better. So many of these paid for "demo/reviews" are using plug ins and what not to improve the tone, beware of the hype and con. This wah sucks! Doubt me? Get one and try it.
Oh man, you have feet and shoes and everything! I've seen most of your videos but hey, you always learn something new. Quality opening track.
HEY SHAWN! that %13 amp head is HUGE!! best demo i have seen on this pedal.
Dat groove!!!
Inside is present a little switch to can pass between true bypass or buffered. Using the buffer mod this pedal can be used with a fuzz?
Yes, run the wah in "true bypass".
Great job Shawn, love how you’re stepping up your game, demos are looking greater than ever. Couldn’t help but notice the viper on your monitor, you a car guy too? Love to try one of these wah pedals! Cheers
I dig cars for sure but I'm more of a dreamer enthusiast. Thanks for the kind words Jason!
Shawn Tubbs right on! All good! Had to come back for a listen, :) cheers
Love this groove!! Great demo, Shawn!
Thanks Steve! Hope you're doing well!

I went through two CAE wahs in a month. So unreliable.

Wah!! Waht a cool way to demonstrate the WAH!! Love it.
Cool demo Shawn ! It's a good sounding versatile wah from Dave .I have one. Totally agree about that LED
Slow dancin, swaying to the Opening track.....slow dancing just me in my underpants.
Thanks for another epic and danceable intro
Killer jam!
Also, I've made that mistake too. Now I check my wah BEFORE I start tweaking my sound. LEDs are good.
Another killer opening. I'm going to have to try this Wah myself.
Just got one of these. Sounds expressive.
Sounds killer! The clean on the Revv sounds alive!

Sounds like a good wah!
I really like it. I have an old Fulltone Clyde Deluxe and I had it for years. The Gold 72 sounds a bit more musical to me.
The Wah sounds great!! I love my Vox Clyde McCoy V848 but I must try this one 👍
OMG that was funkalicious!!! You and Pete Thorn should collaborate on a record and then go on tour. Damn...
Shawn, do all the amps in the background have the speaker connections all hooked up. I was just wondering how much of a pain it is to hook them up when they are on a shelf like that.
i guess he is using an Ampete system

In the foot of aomebody so talented as you is how you can get an idea of how versatile and the potential of this wah wah pedal
Dig the shoes that match the pedal 👌
sounds great great playing
Hey Shawn, this is the only one of two wah pedals I have not tried. Though the last few I tried were supposed to be " True Bypass, " I still hear noticeable loss of Highs . How is this one for Tone Suck ??
Most wah pedals don't have a buffer circuit. I didn't notice any loss of top-end with this pedal and I kept the buffer in the "off" position.
@@ShawnTubbs That is why I am looking at this one because it has a buffer

I would suggest keeping the Vertex boost but maybe look at something like the Friedman BE-OD pedal or possibly the Wampler Pantheon.
Thanks Shawn For your expertise and time, I’m going to the store and try both.
Roger that on the LED thing!
Nice wah pedal, but what car is on your computer. That is awesome!
It's a Viper. Thanks for watching!!
Hey Shawn, what cab and speakers do you use for your FTR 37?
I've got the stock open back 2x12 cab that came with the amp and it's loaded with a Cele G12H Anniversary and an Alnico Blue. Gold pedal.. hm gold... like what your CD will go when released!
Sound like the Ben wah- bet the inductor lasts longer though.
Lovely vintage wah sounds! But: sold out in most European countries. Thank God for that, it saves me some money.
You should see my face and mouth when I listen to this video :-)
Gold fingers play Gold '72...
That’s either a small pedal or you have HUGE feet
Haha...well I guess that pedal is about a 9 and a half. ;)
Nothing like ruining the sound of wha with a trem bar
LIIIIIIIIIKE
