I actually been eyeing this watch myself and being such a big fan of the Orfina PD and Heuer Pasadena PD that came in black pvd coated. So I always wanted a black pvd chronograph and their isn't that many options but the Fortis is excellent 👌 I even love when the pvd coating fades. It just adds serious character
This is such a nice looking watch. I have used mine with some elastic straps such as Erika's originals and The Watch Steward and it looks awesome. I don't see many of these around.
I bought this watch 5 years ago based on the review from Fratello Watches and love it. I had the regular B-42 cosmonaut for years but love the Monolith's watch face (no numbers on the dial). It also kind of reminded me of a PVD Kobold Phantom at the time, which influenced my purchase decision. Only improvement I can think/suggest is if Fortis used this watch face for their Mars collection and used the orange/vintage lume color. Would be my perfect tool watch. The PVD bracelet color is ever so slightly mismatched with the case so it got replaced 5 years ago with a rubber strap + deployant clasp. You have to really look to see the color mismatch but it bothered me then. A few days ago (5 years later), I haven't worn the watch much in years so I decided to try the bracelet again. Feels like a new watch and PVD mismatch doesn't bother me anymore.

I bought the brushed steel version for my wife and she loves it. I want one for me also.
They are such robust and good looking watches, the brushed is a classic!
