All I did was just turn it till the “limiter” hit it’s “limit”... and turned some more .... heard a snap and there is no more limiter ...but it’s “all” still there looks stock and now I have free range of adjustment
Thanks! I was wondering about this. I've got a Super 45 without locks and I need to lean my hi-speed on my 440. I always leave a little stuttering wide open and haven't blown one up
Didn’t go well for me on my 362. Couldn’t see tab alignment with carb installed on saw. Must have not had it right, but the screw pulled out ruining a chance for a second try. Dug the plastic out piece by piece with exacto knife and pick. Not excited to try the lo speed screw now. Need to get correct socket so I can remove carb.
Questions. Can you make any adjustments with the restrictor in place? Does turning the high speed adjustment screw clockwise richen or lean the mixture? Thanks for the video!

drywall screw and pliers...... screw it in pull out the plastic cap
exactly
👍
Does it work on 4_stroke engines
It should work fine as I believe the carburetors use similar adjusters on 4 strokes as well.
annoying cap. Thanks
