Thank you! Your videos are the most thorough and in-depth I've found so far. I am studying for the MOS exam and I found your video as I was trying to find a video that breaks down the ribbon. Found that! And then I came to your channel...awesome! I just shared this series of videos along with your ribbon video with my classmates. This is a HUGE help. Thanks again.
Hi Nasiruddin, I'm glad the videos have been helpful for you. The ribbon is an important part of learning office, I'm glad you appreciate that. Thanks for sharing my videos with your classmates! Have a nice day.
Thank you so much !! Never take the time to comment on videos but I am here because you broke it all down. So many videos on editing text but none even explain how. 👉 Much appreciated buddy!!!!
When I do a bulleted list, the first line of the bulleted paragraph indents but I want my whole paragraph to align left. How do I stop this unwanted indent please? Most tutorials just show bulleting on single line lists so I would appreciate tips on paragraphs. Thanks.
Hi Moh, Typically that means that you will right-align a paragraph or set of text. Meaning it lines up on the right side. You can find this option in the Home Tab, Paragraph Group.
If you right click on your home screen, hover your curser over new, and click text document, it will add a text document to your screen. The text under the file will be highlighted so you can name it something. If you double click on the text document it will open it so you can start typing in it. If you open the document, click format, then font, it will show a list of fonts and font sizes. I was hoping someone would go through each font and show us what they look like. I would do it my self if my teacher didn’t change my password.
Hi Hermoine, I don't have a video on the actual fonts that Word (or Notepad in your case) offer. Both programs offer many different types, and the type you choose depends on what you're using it for. I can make a video discussing font types and their purposes in the future. Thanks for the suggestion.
If I come over will you do my nails and makeup for me? I love your background. Where's the woman that goes with those utensils? Or is it you?! You can share with me.
I have a problem that I can’t resolve. Most of the advice I get is the insertion of numbered paragraphs in text that is already written. What if you are beginning to write a document and you intend to have paragraphs and sub-paragraphs, and to insert them as you type? This is the problem I get into. I’m typing away and the numbered paragraphs are being auto inserted (according to the Word default). I reach a point within paragraph 13 and decide that I need sub-paragraphs. I use (a) , (b) etc. I indent and type in (a). At the end of (a) I press Return and sub-paragraph appears. Great. So it goes to (e), at which point I want to finish off paragraph 13 with a final concluding sentence, or to move onto para 14. Alarm! The only auto possibility is (f). I will need to do this manually but then the auto formatting becomes screwed up. Can you direct me to one of your videos or otherwise assist? I’m grateful for your assistance.
Hi Chris, I can try to help with this,. Whenever you try to create a custom numbered/alphabetical list in Word, Word will try to finish the list for you. Sometimes this is helpful and sometimes it isn't. In your case, you'll want to disable this feature after typing the letter of the paragraph. I would disable this feature in Word if I were you. Here is how you do it. After typing (a) and pressing space, you should see an icon that has a bar and a lightning bolt. Hover over it to view the black down arrow. From there, click the black down arrow and choose Control AutoFormat Options. In the Apply as you Type section, uncheck the box for Automatic Numbered Lists and click OK. Once you do that, it'll stop trying to number your lists. I hope this helps, thanks for watching.

Go Vikings! Very helpful.
I'm glad to hear it James, go Vikings!
What does justification of a text to the right mean?

When I search Text Document Fonts on UA-cam, I wasn’t hoping for a bunch of videos on word documents.
Hi Hermione,
What were you looking to find? I can try to help out.
