Donnie's character is so powerful in every movie they had to blind him to nerf him a little bit.
That's facts as much as I love keanu reeves they had to nerd him so he doesn't outshine him
True !!
And yet his character in this movie still very OP...
Yes they did (morpheus voice)
Yeah, what is up with that? 😂
Donnie was UNREAL in John Wick 4. Such a bonafide badass, every scene with him in it was golden.
That windup punch was surreal
Watch a fantastic movie "Spl 2005". Donnie fight a fatty criminal Sammo Hung just like John Wick fights 'fatty' Scott Adkins)
Guy moves so fast and flawless!😊
He has charisma in that. Not only action scenes
He is so good in JW 4. Not only great actions but also a fairly interesting character. I hope they make the spin off on him they teased in the post credit of JW4 .
That would be awesome
I hope so too
Him, scott adkins, mark dacascos, yayan ruhian, basically all MMA and martial artists in the series deserve a spinoff. Too bad they all had to die by john wick
Donnie has so much charisma and poise. He’s magnificent in all the characters that he’s played!
I thought his name was Ronnie the d must be a oops C.
Take my heart
He also sold out his people in Hong Kong for police brutality and CCP
This man is one of the all time great martial artists in film.. His work is astonishing.
Facts
Not one of the, he is the greatest.
He is the master of Bruce Lee
Donnie Yen isn't too bad either!
@@TheSomeRocks Fully agree
Indeed!
I love that Donnie and Michelle are now getting the recognition they deserve doing action while also showcasing the new stuff they learned as actors. They never really had much attention during the era of Jackie and Jet so this is a great thing to see.
Jackie Chan has been Pro CCP since 1997. He's no way near as good as Donnie.
Actually DY been on the scene for much longer than you realize.
He always gets his recognition.
Idk about Michelle tho
Michelle who?
@@railtus5433 Michelle Yeoh. She won an Oscar man! Get with the times.
Butterfly and Sword, all time fave..
Donnie killed it in John Wick 4... even eating noodles.
This guy is sooooo talented. Absolutely blew me away in JW4. I feel so ashamed of myself that I haven't seen him in more stuff. Donnie is the man!
Watch ip man 1,2,3 and 4 you will be blown by the fight scenes
You don’t know Ip man? Mr. Wick was lucky donie was blind
Watch him in all ip man plus once upon a time in China 2 Where he fight Jet Li.
check out his movies Flashpoint and SPL
after I discovered him I watched every movie of his I could find. Lot's on Prime Video.
The man is just amazing. I am so happy Americans got to see and appreciate him
Donnie is 59 this year yet still looks like he’s in his 30s. He started practicing Tai Chi at a very young age and have kept it up till this day. Just a food of thought what discipline can do for u it’s amazing. Loved this man
Healthy and happy lifestyle
wait what 59?? i was thinking late 40´s...well from looks even younger
Is he actually 60 years old this July coming. Guy is a physical marvel!
Yeah bcz he didn't eat hamburger
you can do all of that self love when you have money
He killed it in this role. Just amazing!
he killed who?
Was incredible
???: (Handing a bullet)
Remember your daughters..
Donny: F*** off
This killed me lolololol
Agree, his acting was top tier
He killed a lot of people in this role 🤪
Donnie Yen is a beast... Flashpoint still my favourite of his films.
still the best fight scenes ever.... terrible story but top shelf fights
Dude the choreography in that film is amazing. I recommend Kung Fu Killer as well. Amazing fight scenes as well.
Yes u r right sequence sence
Yes! Flashpoint fight scene is one of the best! 💪🏻
I love how Donnie Yen mixes getting dressed dancing and kicking. Awesome. What a legend!💪👊
Funny thing is, that's exactly how I pictured Donnie getting dressed every day. Just punching his way into shirts, kicking into shoes and pants... making it look easy as always.
Yeah...some HK movie was cringe like that back then.
That was in the 80s during aerobic and breakdance craze with synth music. The action director asked him to mix martial arts in it so he improvised
That film, "Mismatched Couples," is actually about breakdancing and was created by Yuen Woo-Ping (yes, the famous action choreographer who did all those crazy fight scenes in the US during the 2000s) as a showcase for Donnie because he (Donnie) was actually a breakdancer as well as martial artist. It's a fun flick if you don't go into looking just for kung fu fights--though, there are some of course. Almost more of a romantic comedy.
every chinese dress that way every morning
Donnie deserved a foreign film OSCAR for the 1st IP MAN movie. It was incredibly good.
In my view one of the best Asian films ever made, where ACTING and story were at the same level as the incredible martial arts and stunts.
Also, lets appreciate that the best action movies feature men pushing 60 that look 20 years younger. Tom Cruise, Donnie Yen, Keanu Reeves.
Same with IP Man second movie also great sequel
You spoke my heart man
I think that if he hasn't already, Donnie is going to get awards eventually anyways.
He's a great actor.
I agree, the softness and ability he portrayed Ip Man was magnificent. Not even having to show any change on the face while fighting, effortless.
💯
Donnie and Jackie are the reasons why I stay fit and do some martial arts training because I grew up watching their films during the early 2000s.
@@CoryPchajek stand up dude?

He was against Jet Li as in final fight "once upon a time in China 2" Also "Hero" In 2002

Donnie Yen, almost 60. Moves like he's still in his 20's.
We Asian aged slower than other people 😂

His mom's training and teachings paid off in spades. Also his training definitely helped him managed to fight off a group of thugs IRL and apparently sent them to a hospital.

I first saw Donnie Yen in Yuen Woo-ping’s Iron Monkey and it’s been one helluva crazy ride, from playing sidekicks, to SPL with Sammo Hung, the famous Ip Man movies and now to John Wick. Now that both Jackie and Jet are old and slowing down, Donnie has stepped up to the throne and proven his star quality, even though he’s nearing 60 years old.

Donnie Yen in Mismatched Couples was my introduction to him and loved him ever since. At one point he seemed to have disappeared from acting altogether, but I'm glad he's back and getting roles in Hollywood, and still kicking.
