      Hey man, the job market in general is growing/getting better in Ireland over the recent years. Job market pertaining to Business/Marketing is not too bad either. I have seen there are good opportunities for graduates and experienced professionals. Although IT market is comparatively better in Ireland at present to be honest. So I won't promise anything here in general, but would recommend running through few information gathering techniques that I have added in the video. Based on your work experience, you can also look at Graduate Roles on GradIreland. For you, I suppose networking would play a vital role which you would be able to do at Trinity and the more you do that, more the chances of getting what you want :) Good Luck !

    M coming to Ireland in 2020 for masters in finance from trinity or UCD
    But before that I’ll be complete with my CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) & FRM (Financial Risk Management)
    In Languages, French and German apart from my 2nd official language “English”
    3 years of experience in Investment Banking field as a Financial Analyst and Investment Analyst
    So I guess I would have upper hand in getting job over there!! :)

      Hey Rajeshwar, STAMP 4 visa is issued only after certain years of being on a work permit. Applying directly for a stamp 4 visa from India won't be possible (Atleast as of today)
      You can get a work visa of you secure a job and then apply for Stamp 4 going forward.

    • @ParvezMulani
      @ParvezMulani  7 років тому +1

      Jayant Jindal hey man, I'll share some inputs which might help in making a decision .
      1) TCD and DCU are one of the top ones in the country . Going to the top ones would have benefits as
      Good campus
      More facilities
      More events
      More networking chances
      Etc.
      Data Analytics at NCI is good as I personally know few good professors there .
      So my preference , TCD/DCU if possible would be great . Else NCI.
      Thanks .

    Hi Parvez
    I love the honesty in your videos and I am in need of some honest answers from you.
    I got an offer letter from UCD for MSc Information Systems.
    I have some questions which I really need answers for, it would be great if you could help.
    1. What is the market like? As in I have heard a lot that Dublin is the IT hub. Is it really? Any chance for discrimination? (Especially for an Indian Student)
    2. What salary can I expect after my masters?
    3. Does a masters from UCD hold value around the world or is it just good in Ireland?
    4. I love programming though my background is commerce and undergrad in BBA. Will it be an issue in visa process or when I apply for jobs in Ireland?
    5. What monthly budget can I expect as a student?
    6. Lastly and probably the most important one, will I be able to save enough to repay the education loan?
    Looking forward to your response brother

    Hi parvez,
    I have been offered in Msc Big Data Management and Analytics in Griffith College. I have done my engineering in CS and with only 9 months of experience as devops engineer. I'm a bit skeptical getting employment after my studies as I have no experience in the same.

    • @ParvezMulani
      @ParvezMulani  7 років тому

      Hi Clarance,
      First off, being skeptical is quite a normal feeling people have before starting the course. That's the exact same feeling I had before arrival with less than a year's experience.
      What you need to understand here is , why have you applied for those courses ? Are you really interested in learning about Analytics ? If yes, then it's about taking the challenge (only if you decide to come here) and working well in college, doing the best projects you possibly could and everything else I said in the video.
      Do one thing, I have uploaded a video on MSc in Data Analytics with details on what you can expect from the course and few tips to prepare for it before coming.
      Watch that and let me know what you think .
      ua-cam.com/video/lxJpOksMD6M/v-deo.html
      Hope it helps :)

      Like I said in my video(s), the only thing that matters on your CV is your Work experience/college projects/extra circular activities and anything that's relevant for the job you apply for.
      So make the most of your time in college, do good projects and apply at the right time ! That should help a lot :)

      Let me add a video on this by this weekend and share more on this as this quite important.

    Hi Parvez , i have another question for ya...what can you tell me about the chances as the spouse or civil partner of a EU citizen??? Ive found that they are allowed in Ireland, but can you tell me more details according to what you have observed about that??

    • @ParvezMulani
      @ParvezMulani  6 років тому

      Hey Man,
      As a partner of EU citizen, you should have working rights as far as my knowledge goes. I have met dependants working in Ireland and usually there's no challenge.

    Hi... Bro..I'm from India.... It will be helpful for me if u reply back...... I'm planning to do MS in embedded systems..... I've no work experience...... My B.E percentage of 59%..... But I'm confident of doing well in MS..... But I want to know whether my low B.E percentage affect my chances of getting job after I complete my MS..

    • @ParvezMulani
      @ParvezMulani  6 років тому

      Hey there,
      You need to first stop being unconfident about pursuing MAsters ! That's a bad start and it'll affect you more than anything else (even your "low B.E percentage")
      1) If you are interested in pursuing Masters, you should have your reasons. Do you like the course ? Do you just want to move to another country ? What !
      Think about it first and make sure you are interested in your course as that is key !
      2) Don't worry about your BE percentage (What has happened, has happened! Nothing's low or high, just focus on what you can do to score well in your next one)
      3) Find out the colleges you are interested and start applying. Be confident and work hard. No reason you can't do well.
      Hope that helps

    Hi , how to get a jobs for a dependent visa resident??

    • @ParvezMulani
      @ParvezMulani  6 років тому

      Hey, it’s the same process that you would go through as I explained in the video. Only thing that differs is your visa stamp and status . Sometimes recruiters are not aware of the employment rights you have as a dependent , so knowing everything about it and explaining it to the recruiter if required , is important .
      Make sure you try and add a visa status line on your CV just so recruiters know what’s your immigration status .
      Thanks.

    Hi Parvez!! Im from Chile, i would like you to give me info about people who go to Ireland without a European passport, what are their opportunities, if any, to get a job there?? Im a professional English teacher, but i can teach Spanish, i can speak Portuguese and some Italian, i know i could fit in the teaching and tourism area, but do i have any chance without the European passport???

    • @ParvezMulani
      @ParvezMulani  7 років тому

      Hey,
      People without European passport do get jobs here in Ireland i different domains. If you have the teaching skills and like you pointed out you could fit in teaching or tourism, you'd find a job if you come here and figure out what's required to get a job here and work accordingly.

    • @exelentation1
      @exelentation1 7 років тому

      Do they? I asked you because ive searched that Non EU citizens must be required by a contractor in advance...it´s a hard process before getting a Work permit, almost impossible if you dont have the European passport, but now youre telling a different thing. My wife could get Italian citizenship and pass it on to me, but if i could move to Ireland earlier it would be great. I need more of your feddback please.

    • @ParvezMulani
      @ParvezMulani  7 років тому

      Hey man, there seems to be some confusion here. Apologies. Well I answered in the context of job opportunities after your studies, as I usually answer to people who come to Ireland for studies and then look for a Job post studies.
      Without having a European passport, you need to get some visa to enter the country (Travel, Student or Work). Travel and Student is irrelevant in your case which means you need to get a work permit before coming here. For that you need to get a job and work permit before entering the country which is ofcourse not easy. Being here in Ireland (on student visa/Graduate visa) and then searching jobs is comparatively easier than being away.

    • @exelentation1
      @exelentation1 7 років тому

      yeah, that´s what i thought. Ill wait for the European passport then. Thanx anyway!!!!!

    • @ParvezMulani
      @ParvezMulani  7 років тому

      Hey.
      NCI is not too bad. My experience was good. Some professors (not all) were good with classes. I got help with CV writing and LinkedIn.
      In general, you'd have to work on your own for the most part. Classes would be all about making you aware of what's out there and what you could do. Rest is upto how you work and do on your own. This is true in most of the colleges.
