Hi everyone! Let me know if you have any questions in the comments below! :)
Hi. In an URP project i did create the box and material, activated emmsive, but when i generate the lighmap nothing happens , there is no bloom/glowing
Note: the project originally had the "SampleSceneLightingSetting" lightint asset
no work
I think I owe this guy a beer, he should come back and make more videos... this solved a problem that I think I saw many other people are having, you apply bloom to an object and it gets applied to the entire scene... I was able to use a Base and Overlay cam to make a single object glow just like I wanted
Best tutorial on this for sure. I watched tons of them yesterday and this one is straight forward, to the point, easy to follow but still explains what's happening and why. Excellent Job!
Justin, Your Blender tutorials are fantastic. Especially the ones dealing with arch viz. Watching this, it is obvious your Unity tutorials are just as good if not better. You explain everything in a thorough yet easy to understand manner. I have subscribed and will watching all of your Unity tutorials. Thank you!!!
Awesome - Glad you're liking them! :)
OMG thank you
i've been searching for whole day and this is just exactly what i need!!
:)
This was Incredibly Helpful thank you.
AMAZING tutorial!!! Thank you sooo much!
thanks for the great video. You kinda saved my Idea for my Uni Project game :) thanks to you i can make it like i wanted to
Thank you! This was the only tutorial I could find that could help :D
Glad I could help!
Extremely clear and I leaned something new,
Thank you very much! That is exactly what I need!
tank u man, you was a first tutorial that deu certo
Thank you so much!! I used this to make some fairy lights.
really good stuff bro
YOU SAVE ME, THANK YOU VERY MUCH.
Good morning Justin! As I've stumbled along in Blender/Unreal/Unity, you've been an excellent teacher and go-to resource for clarity, simplicity and depth. A delicate balance that you certainly have mastered. So thank you for all your hard work. I have a hopefully quick question that may be beyond the scope of this video. I followed your instructions here and it works like a charm. Until I try to apply bloom to a material in an AR session. Bloom shows up. The rest of the world does not. Maybe not a bad thing...hahaha Without bloom, my material works as expected. I'm using the Unity AR Core with URP Lit installed. Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Again, thank you for all your masterful work.
hello, I have a question, if there is a texture attach to the cube, and the texture is updating every frame, then how to change the light's color in realtime? Like the screen light of the cinema.
When I tried this, I had to add a Post Processing Layer onto the camera. "Rendering" was not a dropdown option within the inspector component for the camera. Also, adding a volume was not an option. I had to add an "Empty" GameObject.
Otherwise, great! Thanks a bunch!
How you add a Post Processing Layer?
For anyone who does not understand him: ua-cam.com/video/5dvst-lbx1Y/v-deo.html
Is dragging a point light on top of the cube the only way to get that effect? We'll end up doing that for every object we need if so.
love this
Great video! Curious if something like this is possible when working in 2D
Can these effects be adapted to AR? Do glowing objects still appear emissive against a real world background?
really amazing
Thanks!
Thx master!
very good content
Thank you!
Is it normal for generate lighting to take a reallyyyyy long time?
my teacher was trash so here am i. thank you
am I to assume the reason for simulating the emissive illumination is cuz the usual method causes low fps?
How to import light emitting object from blender to unity?
thanks buddy
Thanks for watching!
great
my material has the error color (pink) when i use the shader, i have tried to change it, but no luck
i've got the same problem
hey im a bit late to the party but why cant you just add a light source as a component onto the cube instead of placing a seperate light inside of it?
Hum, I'va done everything but the material made in unity only works on standard. I switched everything to URP
when i apply the URP lit shader my material becomes pink
same did you find the fix
❤
hhhhhhhhwhat's up guys :) i love it.
You need the most recent version of unity to get the Universal Render pipeline/LIT, 2019 or under you wont find it
Hi, how come my camera doesn't have post processing option?
I assume you didn't follow the instructions and add postprocessing to the camera
@@TheRealTimeEssentials You are not making sense. Like Theo my camera does NOT have the rendering tab at all. So there is no way to enable the post processing option in the first place. But sure assume that we didnt follow your instructions.
@@vfx.360
From what I've seen, In the current version some things changed, this is done another way now
UPDATE: Well, it's not what I thought. Basicly this method just works for projects that use URP (Universal Render Pipeline). You can create a project with URP from the Unity Hub, also there are ways to upgrade your existent project to URP, just look for some tutorials.
@@sanic3400 thank you. it was really helpful
I downloaded the pipleine and all my models in all scenes were pink.
I have to manually fix each one by hand.
Thanks for the warning unity devs.
Save a backup of your project before downloading ANY Unity packages.
Or download it to your unity project on another computer, well away from your good project
i think it needs an update
You sound like you're going to choke on the intro
no more realtime lights!
You dont tell how to get half your shit 👎👎👎
I want to ask why is there no urp shade? I'm using 2018.1.9f
i would like to ask , Why is there no volume?
