It rains a lot in Florida. Is there a way to hang the helmet right side up so rain water doesn't get in while the bike is parked outside? I know the visor would not be fully closed, but it's still better for the helmet to be right side up than to hang upside down collecting rain like a bucket.

How long is the cable? Can you sit the helmet over the centre of the bars and still reach back to lock it at the grips.
