They are real men and family to each other. The whole band drank tea in the dressing room while Malcolm was battling alcoholism. Being an alcoholic myself I appreciate their bond to each other 😊
There is no competition between them. The entire band is one unit which after 30+ years is absolutely amazing.
“Whole Lotta Rosie” from this concert was amazing. You should definitely check it out next.
So much iconic rock sound in one song. I will say that Bon's singing of it is a bit better, but the performance from this concert was perfect.
This is the Greatest foreshadowing personal song for me. 1st song I heard in the limo on my way to my wedding
I want this to be my funeral song !
great reaction !!
Who wouldn't, after all not much going for upstairs!
I can't remember any of the 7 times I've seen them where I wanted it to end. Always a badass show. Full of energy and an absolute blast, everytime.
best live band ever!!!
Angus young could play the guitar falling down the stairs. After living in Australia for more than 20 years, I love this band. They have no peers. Totally humble and yet so talented. AC/DC never forget who they are
You mention Angus and Brian’s mannerisms being so iconic but for those of us who grew up with this particular lineup, Malcolm, Phil and Cliff are just as iconic. To many of us these five are the definitive AC/DC.
to many of us older people especially in australia the definitive line up is young, young, scott, rudd and evans. but each to their own.
My apologies to the fans of the Bon Scott & Mark Evans eras as well as the Simon Wright, Cliff Slade and Axl Rose eras. No slight was intended.
Yeah, low-key angus will forever be known for the duck walk on stage.😂
Honestly, this whole tour was just smashing. I have it on DVD, Vinyl and every other formats possible. I think this show at Riverplate is just perfection... the visuals, the sound, all together. After all of these years it's still my favourite recorded live show.
The whole tour was amazing.
They never became pretentious . They were always the working class man's favorite band.
One of the most popular songs of ALL TIME
This concert is so shocking you can feel the energy through the video
For those about to rock from the same concert! The best end of show number!
80's rock an roll. 😊😊
A Stairway to Heaven and a Highway to Hell tells a lot about expected traffic.
The crowd here is another member, and this feedback between AC/DC and the crowd genere this energy extra full enjoyable. Nice reaction. Saludos from Argentina.
Hi Ray ,Brian was 62 years old here, Angus was 54 years old, Brian is now 75 and Angus is now 68,both are still with AC/DC today, along with bassist Cliff Williams, now 73 and drummer Phil Rudd ,now 69, rhythm guitarist Malcolm Young, who features in this video, passed away in 2017 aged 64, The current rhythm guitarist is Stevie Young, 66, who is Angus and Malcolm's nephew, Highway to Hell was released in 1979, The band were formed in Sydney, Australia 🇦🇺, in 1973!! 😂😂
Big Hi from Scotland 😂😂🏴🏴
I love that song I miss the old days LOL
Whole Lotta Rosie from this concert is the next one to watch.
AC/DC live is a spiritual experience.
Always love watching AC/DC Live At River Plate show
Watch “Jailbreak” from the Donnington Live concert for the ultimate Angus video which comes with a surprise in the middle of the song.
My favourite ACDC song is Thunderstruck but my favourite Bon Scott song is Long way to the Top.
I saw AC/DC on the Highway to Hell tour and Bon Scott one of the best unique voices in Rock! Sorely missed! Brian holds his own!
For those about to rock in general but especially from this concert is quite something... It's the song they finish every concert with. Firing canons involved and lyrics just talking about how they want to bring rock to the people. Absolutely the best performance I've seen
There will never be another ACDC, Angus is at rest may he be rocking it loud,a master musician❤🎶
This was a classic AC/DC song written and recorded in 1979 when Bon Scott was the lead singer... It was AC/DC's first gold-selling album 'Highway to hell'... It was a huge loss when Bon Scott was unexpectedly found dead in a friend's car after a night of heavy drinking in early 1980... 😪
Brian Johnson proved to the correct choice as a vocalist to take Bon Scott's job and bring AC/DC even more success... It could have gone either ways - the fans of Bon Scott could have easily hated the 'new guy' and called the 'Back in Black' album trash, but they didn't... They admired Brian Johnson for singing all of Bon Scott's songs in concert... and they loved the guy cos he always met and talked to AC/DC fans and signed anything they wanted, just like Bon Scott used to. He was one of them... not some pompous 'rock star' who would never been seen... That was what saved AC/DC's career after a tragedy.
AC/DC now featuring Agnus on the guitar. XD
Those about to rock is one of my favorits to watch.
Simply put, AC/DC are rock 'n roll gods. Period. End of statement. This is not even open to discussion.
Love ACDC
How are you
Love the 'Let there be Rock' performence with the great solo from Angus
the concerts are some of the highest energy ever, electric ac/dc ..lol
One can always count on AC/DC to rock out incredible music EVERY time! Thanks for your reaction.
It's Angus lol....you were saying Agnes. These guys are a theme to a generation. Glad you like them!!!
Now that’s interesting, I would never have guessed that you were an AC/DC fangurl 😂, you got gud taste 😜. Nice reaction yet again, nice expressions, just nice 🌹
Rachel! Listen y’all, you gotta listen to AC/DC “Let There Be Rock” next (same River Plate concert). This is one of Angus Young’s most memorable solo guitar performances, so electrifying and infectious! Trust me, you’re gonna wanna experience this legendary performance! Much Love & You’re Welcome!
How could you not be floating on air! If I had there talent I would be in heaven! I have heard them for years! So great that are younger generations get to see real and pure music from the past! And darling you are so beautiful 😍 keep up with the reactions! Love them!!! 😘
Great reaction, the way you explain everything when you pause and then hit play, that makes the song even better
Such a fun review. Weirdest thing is i am not a huge ACDC or even a big lead guitarist fan but so funny that the finger movements of Angus in all live videos matches the music i am hearing from his guitar which makes it all the more fun to watch. So different from other classic live R & R performances. Looks like they are playing a different song.
Another good reaction Rachael!
I’m glad young people appreciate these guys but I was listening to them back in 1975 when High Voltage came out. RIP Malcom
I need to see you react to live Slipknot songs from a concert anything you want but you will love it!
Love your reactions ...this one is awesome
She absolutely rocks ❤
Love your vlogs.
Love your vlogs
Angus Young got his ROCK N ROLL KICK FROM CHUCK BERRY! THIS SONG WAS 1ST SUNG BY MR. BONN SCOTT, 1980: ANGUS & MALCOLM YOUNG FORMED ACDC, IN THE EARLY 70S. MALCOLM IS THE BASS GUITAR PLAYER. RIP MALCOLM!!!
RIP Malcom
I went to their concert back in the 80s and my ears were buzzing for 2 days afterwards.
The song I think that ended the consert was We salute you unbelievable too must watch or Let there be Rock one of those songs still both is a must ACDC are on a different level when it comes to Rock and Roll.
It's really difficult to watch EVEN AC/DC with such a beauty loke Rachel 😢😢❤❤❤
If you haven't listened to Highway to Hell with original singer Bon Scott, you haven't really heard this song. You gotta listen to the original version!!!
OK Jehovah's Witnesses 🙄
Must have been huge shoes to fill for Brian. I love their tunes with him from Back In Black on but always tough for me to appreciate him covering Bon's songs. As much as I like Brian and admire this band for carving out such a great career after such a loss Bon will always be AC/DC to me. Bon's the man!
@@roadkill7314 When Brian came into the band, they cemented their sound and would never change. With Bon, it was always dynamic and every song had a different feel to it. Ride on... I understand this because Brian's voice is pretty limited, whereas Bon could sing anything.
Too right dude.
@@vovindequasahiWouldn't call Brians voice limited but ok. Understand ur point
I hope you get a chance to react to AC/DC when they had Bon Scott. I highly recommend Let There Be Rock live at the Apollo Theatre 1978 🤘
Old school fans are gonna grumble that they prefer Bon, but apples and oranges. Like saying either Floor or Tarja are better, which is not fair to either. Brian and Bon are equally good, different is just different. Now if we were talking Brian Adams in ACDC that would be another discussion, but Brian Johnson is not Aneyte Olson.
At 2017 there was cool (and weird) situation with em - Malcolm Young died, Phil Rudd
was still in the jail, Brian Johnson went deaf, and Angus Young disappeared somewhere. And despite this they recorded a new album, he-he.
Just for perspective, in this video, we see footage of the greatest rhythm guitar player in rock & roll, Malcolm Young. He was only running on auto- pilot at this gig. Just like most of them on the Black Ice tour. He was starting to succumb to the affects of dementia. Angus had to remind him what song was next, what chords to play, everything! Not a bad effort if you ask me!
He also had to relearn and practice them. And he did it so well no one knew until Angus announced he had it
Nice to see. The heart of Rock and Roll ist still beating.
I seen them in 96. Best concert ive ever been to.
Thanks, amazing
Gives me a warm feeling when you youngsters realize, and bow to the rock and roll greats of my generation. Guess we're not so different, eh?
This is a symbiosis beetwen artist and crowd. one is powered by the other!!!
AC/DC was, is and will always be the best band to my eyes 🔥
Puedo decir felizmente que estuve en ese concierto 🤘
I'm from Fremantle Western Australia. The same port city as the band and where Bon Scott lies. The Highway to Hell is a road called Canning Highway leading into Fremantle. Back in the day it was infamous for its underhanded activity.
I think you should react to black betty by ram jam. It's a single song but it is an underrated classic, also I know you generally react to rock/punk/metal songs, but it would cool if you reacted to other types of genres and music. I highly recommend you to listen to labour from Paris Paloma, it's such a unique song that came out recently and it's so good, it would be a great start to dive into other kind of music if you consider this suggestion in the future.
Great video, I love your reaction to ac/dc my friend was on there when they played, a life time experience that you will always remember and it was peak music.
Just so you are aware, their ages at the time of the River Plate shows:
Angus Young 54
Malcolm Young 56
Brian Johnson 62
Cliff Williams 60
Phil Rudd 55
Long live legends
I saw AC/DC on the "Highway to Hell" Tour in Dortmund / Germany on 11/21/1979. Few days ago 😂
If you enjoyed them so much for their talent and energy - by the way, fine reaction! - I think you'll love "Money talks" and "Who made who" - official music videos. Their live performances that I recommend are: "For those about to rock we salute you"; "It's a long way to the top if you want rock'n roll"; "Back in Black".
This young Argentinian crowd in 2009 , while U.S. kids were listening to Bieber, Beyonce, and Swift...lol
AWESOME VIDEO
Buenos Aires 2009. I was there!!!!!!!
I think it’s great your giving them time .
Several of the songs at this concert - with the crowd all jumping in unison - apparently caused the action at the stadium to be registered as an earthquake on Argentinian equipment outside of Buenos Aires. Not like a 8 on the Richter scale, but enough to be registered nonetheless.
Highway To Hell is the penultiate song the closer is For Those About To Rock
Probably the best song to close a concert to. One word: Cannons
Bon Scott Long way to the Top👍🎶with bag pipes AC/CD😊
Good review some underrated and unknown bands I think deserve one are end of the dream song follow the angels and the overfiend which their song maiden or deligma which there song vendetta
The relationship between Bon and Angus on state was really something on a different level. Angus use to climb on Bon's shoulder and Bon would dance around the stage with one singing and the other playing. Incidentally have you ever looked up the Australian band Airborne founded by two brother as well. The lead singer Joel O'keeffe is like Bon and Angus combined in one person with his antics including climbing the lighting rigging while still playing his guitar much like Angus while hanging off the steelworks.
That's all well and good but Brian Johnson eclipsed Bon long time ago.
@@taekwondotime they are not in competition, just two very different eras with the music speaking for itself. That said Bob and Angus had a relationship Brian and Angus never reached. Of course Angus was so young he kind of idolized Bon too..
All I'm saying is people keep going back to Bon, but Brian has been with the band 5x longer. Nearly every top AC/DC hit song is with Brian singing. People need to move on and acknowledge that Brian has been the guy. If you had to pick one guy, he's the lead singer. He's the voice of AC/DC.@@jimdavison4077
Rio crowds are just plain nuts. The most amazing song footage I have seen is Rush in Rio doingYYZ. Never saw a crowd singing the melody of an instrumental before. U gotta see it to believe it
Brian is a legend but , there is no one like Bon
Beautiful 😍❤️🤘🏻
dang I wish I was there and jamming to their song
loved the reaction! love ACDC
Angus was always bored to walk to school and back sohe invented more fun ways of going there. Then he translated it to his guitar play.
p.s. love your reaction to acdc . so your a fan now and for the rest of your life. lol. i suggest you listen to their first album to their last in order to fully appreciate they are the gods of modern rock n roll
Next song should be "The Jack" from the concert. It is the greatest PSA ever made, and is very revealing.
it was on that day, while playing this song, that the earth shifted on its axis
My dad listened to this CD an unspeakable, impossible number of times
Hey beautyfull!!! Me again. Good reaction!!! This band is unic. But also when you see them live, the crowd helps. Argentinian crowd, my crowd.
There are Masters of there Class.
Angus's most iconic solo is let there be rock same concert
AC DC monumental River
and you have to remember this is LIVE
The whole set is like this, not a missed beat
I seen them 6-8 times in the mid to late 70's with Bon Scott still to this day the best band I have ever seen
Not to mention Malcolm was showing signs of onset dementia and had to practice and relearn the songs. No one ever noticed. That's how great he was at playing.
And don't forget the rhytmus sexton with Phil Rudd on Drums and the Bass. and of yourse on these Days Malcom Young on the rhytemguitar with his perfext 3 steps to the Microfone for backing vocals. And hes famous duckstepfs from angus are a xopy off his favourite player Chuck Berry.
My favorite rock and roll uncles!
A good message:)
and that is how you end the song :) Most of the band was around since 1970s. Brian was chosen by Bon Scott, believe it or not. It is not a concert, it is an event.
Another great performance from this concert is the opener: Rock 'n' Roll Train.
*MORE* AC⚡DC please!
Five star band and five star reaction. So fun and sparkly. Both.
AC/DC and Van Halen are the two most genuinely fun and self-consciously fun bands ever.
Your reactions are great. Best song from this concert is Whole Lotta Rosie. They blow the roof off.
