Evanescence got me through some really horrible times. The haunting themes and power in their voices just eased a difficult path I was on. Great to see you react to a very underrated band.

Love Amy's voice, and her musical sense. One of my favorite live performances is on Paste Magazine's UA-cam channel. Her performance of "Good Enough" is just her and piano. You can hear her voice in all it's glory
I’ve not really listened to much Evanescence but this was beautiful, Amy’s singing is really beautiful! The combination of Amy and the rest of the band is really cool, almost a symphonic metal vibe.

I saw them twice this year. In April they opened for muse, it wqs so amazing and Amy sounded amazing, she had me tearing up when she sang immortal
undeniably one of the most immaculate voices of our time. perfection even in the live setting. some of these newer singers need to take note of that.
This is timeless and so good. A song that stands out from the rest and will still be played 30 years from m now! Maybe even a song of a decade…!

If you haven't heard their Synthesis album you absolutely should. It's got some new songs, but is mostly updated/reimagined versions of previous songs and the whole album is just outstanding. Highly recommend. It's also got an updated version of Bring Me to Life without the male vocals, which Amy has said is the way the song was originally written. It's a really interesting version, especially with the addition of a lot of orchestral sound, since the "rap" vocals aren't there, but it doesn't really feel like they're necessarily missing. I'm going to stop talking because I'll nerd out about Evanescence all day.
You know when a live artist plays just a few notes on the piano and everyone goes completely bonkers, you're in for something very special and Amy NEVER disappoints. I'm convinced she is actually an alien from the planet MUSIC and is the living embodiment of musical perfection. God bless her.

Saw them live last week for the 20th anniversary tour of Fallen, Amy sounds just as amazing as ever.

Evanescence has lot's of good songs! I actually like all of them. It helped me see through my darkest moments.
I've had the pleasure of seeing Evanescence twice and I have to tell ya of all the vocalists I have seen live, there is no one better then Amy Lee live! She is absolutely amazing and the band are incredible musicians! Highly recommend checking them out on tour if you can!

I saw them live this year and they played this song exactly at midnight, the atmosphere was insane!
I think I heard this song when it first came out 20 years ago. I have been staying alive since then because Amy has been inspiring me to survive myself. There are other songs that have had a similar effect, but this song is very prominent in that in my memories. Keep it metal. \m/

If you ever get a chance to see them live I highly highly recommend it! I saw them for the first time for the Synthesis tour and a couple months ago with Korn! If you haven't seen her duet with Lizzy Hale you need to check that out!

I second all of this, but I *definitely* want a reaction. That version redefines the song and makes it so ethereal and haunting.
One of my absolute favorites. (Although I am rather a Metalhead, usually listening to Iron Maiden, Lovebites and Nemophila.)
This song and live performance is an absolute explosion of life, emotions and energy. Just _insane_ . (In the nice way). What I especially adore, is, how they work with _silence_ . You can make noise all the way through, or you can work with silence shortly before explosions of power. Like here. The result is amazing. I am behaving like a wild animal every time i watch this.

I always remember this, every year in my school we had a music festival/contest towards the end of the year, and a group of older high school kids performed this song, and it was so freaking good, I was so pissed they didn't win the whole thing...

She has such an amazing voice live...got to see her twice on the Synthesis tour & after first show was looking for tickets to the next date a couple of days later 🤯🤯 You should try the songs from that album/tour...reimagining of what already know & the version of Bring Me To Life on that is closer to what she originally wanted the song to be before the label said she needed a male on there (how wrong they were!!)

I was so sad as i've seen them my first time live in Hamburg last year...coz she was ill and couldn't show her real voice
I heard Amy say in an interview one time that the label almost canceled the whole album and pretty much forced them to have the male vocal parts because they didn't think people would like them with just the female singer because dual singer bands with a rap element mixed in like Linkin Park were the big thing at the time.
