She worked for the house on the appropriations committee for 14 years, she has worked on budgets for president Bush and Obama and has also worked in the senate when Trump was president. Plus she has a masters degree. She knows more about the budget process than most people out there.

From her answers, she is a firm believer in confiscatory tax policy and wealth redistribution which has lead to economic stagnation or worse wherever it has been applied.

My opinion is if you are NOT paying income tax or property tax or capital gains or any kind of taxes outside of sales you should not be allowed to vote.

I disagree with that, if I build wealth then pass away and it goes to my family who did not contribute to the creation of said wealth I am of the opinion they should pay a small and I mean real small tax on that inheritance. I think somewhere between a 5% to 10% tax on inheritance is the limit I would aim for.

Let me try to follow the logic here...if you raise taxes to the head of the company and cut the company's income, you'll cut income to the entire company from the head to the toe (or in this case a cleaning lady, or janitor e.g)! Death Tax is disgusting in my opinion. A working American pays taxes from their earnings every week, throughout their lives. When they’re dead the Govt taxes the money they’ve already paid taxes on....Double Dipping is what the American government does to its people..
The other egregious tax laws we have is on cars. A person buys a new car, pays additional tax on the sale. EVERY time the car is sold throughout its lifetime it’s taxed over and over again. That is insane and an abuse of State and Govt to its people.

This nominee, Shalanda Young, like some other Biden nominees, come across as having all the depth and reason of high-school sophomores running for student government. Stop fucking lying. The national debt can never be paid off it isn't possible. Every cent that is created is then loaned out by the fed to our government and private local banks. If you take every printed and digital dollar and return it to the fed then you would still have the interest owed. How do you pay that? You can't unless you borrow more money to pay them which only brings more interest. Anyone in public office who talks about paying off the debt is either unqualified for their position or they are outright lying. This is very simple to understand but people aren't taught from those in power or the media. The only way to pay off the debt is to remove it all together by removing the Federal Reserve which is already a violation to the constitution and the coinage act of 1793. So it should have been removed ages ago.
