    Materials List:
    -----------------------
    2 x 33.7mm Diameter steel pipe 2.9mm wall thickness.
    - No.1 fixed pipe-length=990mm - No.2 adjustable pipe-length =1080mm
    4 x Plywood Vertical supports for the pipes-205mm H x 45mm thickness
    2 x 165mm Wide-Fixed pipe supports. 2 x 155mm wide adjustable pipe supports.
    Top corner chamfers ~55mm long ~45 deg angle.
    1 x 16mm plywood sheet 600mm W x 990mm L
    1 x 16mm plywood piece for saw stop - 400mm L x 54mm W
    1 x Circular Saw 185mm blade. Steel base plate of saw 280mm L x 140mm W
    2 x Steel L angles 30x30mm 358mm Long.
    2 x Laminated 18mm plywood 283mm L x 105mm W
    2 x Pine Stud 70mm H x 45mm W x 283mm L.
    2 x Pine stud 70mm H x 45mm W x 800mm L.
    2 x Pine Stud 95mm x 45mm x 600mm L.
    1 x Pine Stud 70mm x 45mm x 410mm L.
    2 x M8 bolts 70mm L. 2 x M8 bolts 60mm L. 10 x M8 bolts 100mm L.
    4 x M8 bolts 80mm L. 4 x M10 washers. 10 x M8 Long nuts (24mm L)
    16 x Abec 7 Carbon steel Skateboard ball bearings(M8 bolts fit inside)
    22 x M8 Nyloc nuts. 8 x M8 standard nuts. 8 x 110mm Torx head screws.
    4 x 40mm L x 25mm W x 3mm Thick steel used for brackets
    1 x 123mm L x 25mm W x 3mm Thick "" ""
    4 x 61mm L x 25mm W x 3mm Thick "" "". 26 x 45mm Timber screws
    4 x M5-10mm L Round head hex socket bolts.
    The clamps are not included in this list only the nuts and bolts used for the 2 end clamps. The Clamps could be made of metal or something else other than plywood. The end clamps are 45mm H x 130mm L.

    Your hand build machine is excellent. It’s strong sturdy and robust and I expect you will get many years of accurate cuts from it. A good product made from good materials.

    Very interesting design. Looks quite robust and executed with good quality materials, but yet nothing too fanciful or overly expensive. I think it can be replicated by anyone with a bit of skill to make an accurate crosscut jig. Thanks for posting! Good luck to you.

    Very quality built, i like the angle addition, a little to much for my needs but im definitely going to implement than angle adjustment.

      The terms "Complicated and Simple" are relative to the individual. People who build such things are process oriented people whom enjoy the planning and building more than the final product itself.
      You really should stop projecting yourself onto others... O.o

      @@jason4547@rick easton I also like the finished product. One of the reasons I built the saw was because I had trouble getting consistent accurate cuts with a cheap table saw.

    good job still tons of work and craftmanship skills ....some linear bearing will do the job better I think but this is affordable to built

      Hi Whitley, Yes. I have also ordered a makita metal cutting saw and plan on making a metal cutting version of this project as well. But that is probably next year as I have other projects already in progress that will finish out 2020. Thanks for subscribing.

      Hi Manuel, I am currently building a website and I will be creating free plans for this project and the crosscut jig so they will hopefully be easier to be build for those interested.

    Installation is good! But in a wide shield, as it seemed to me, the angle was not too right, or am I mistaken?

      Hi Vlad, I'm not sure what you mean by wide shield? But the cutting angles are good I use this saw more often now than my metabo miter saw.

      Hi Mariano, I will put a list of the materials in the video description. However your circular saw may not have the same dimensions as my saw which could change the other dimensions in the design.

      Hi Jose, I built the jig because I needed to make accurate cuts which I wasn't able to do using the cheap table saw I had. I made the video because I wanted to show a different way of making a circular saw crosscutting jig.

    great... but try to cut across board , 10 cm long and 5 cm to 2.5 cm ... 😉

      That's what a miter saw or table saw is used for. My crosscut jig was primarily designed to cut plywood sheets.

      Bonjour Olivier, j'ai épinglé un de mes commentaires qui reprend la liste des matériaux et les dimensions des différentes pièces. La vidéo montre comment je l'ai construit. Mais peut-être que vous le feriez différemment ou à votre manière. Ce n'est pas vraiment censé être une vidéo d'instruction étape par étape. Quand j'ai fait la vidéo, je ne pensais pas que tant de gens la regarderaient.
