Making Gate Hinges
Переглядів 1,4 тис.3 місяці тому
In this video I make some heavy duty gate hinges for a heavy wooden driveway gate that I have made which will appear in my next video. Originally I bought some hinges from the local hardware store and realized while making the wooden gates that the hinges would be too small and not strong enough. So I decided to make my own hinges using four M18 bolts for the pins and mild steel for the other p...
Testing my Straight Holes Drill Guide. Made from PETG plastic.
Переглядів 5065 місяців тому
I'm always drilling crooked holes so I decided to make a small drill guide I can throw in a tool box and take with me whenever I am working. The guide is made from PETG plastic and I have printed various size bushings designed for each of the most common drill bit sizes I use.

Making a Cutting Guide
Переглядів 1549 місяців тому
In this video I make a cutting guide that can be used with circular saws, routers and jigsaws. The guide clamps to the work piece using an M8 bolt which is screwed into the end block of the guide. The cutting guide is made from one piece of 1350mm x 100mm x 15mm thick plywood and two pieces of 1300mm x 45mm x 6mm thick laminated plywood with the End block and Slide block and bolt knob being PLA...

Very Smart turned out very nice
Admirable skills...brought a pallet home, told my wife, " See that. I made it! Used to be our dining room table!'
Good job, mate.
Thanks!
Why didn't you attach the 3D printed bracket to the part of the slide you removed?
Because I thought it would be stronger made this way with the back.of the plastic bracket sitting inside the draw slider.
A shoulder bolt and a matching bronze bushing would take your mod to the next lvl. I like how you think tho. That factory hinge was garbage. Good design poor build quality
Do you have to sharpening that sandvik insert or you can use like it come?
You need to sharpen it with a diamond wheel on a bench grinder and grind a point on it. Below is a good video for reference ua-cam.com/video/QJXqHpSh3SE/v-deo.htmlsi=7yPJZoV3YbhcMyG0
Cuantos custa
300 Euro plus shipping.
Nice video and design! Although the work itself is far beyond 5 min.
Yes the 5 minute version is for those who can't afford to spend 17 mins watching the original which in itself is only highlights of the several days it took to make the stand.
IMHO, I reckon some lubrication in the drill guide hole could help also. 🙂
Yeah the drill guide will most likely last longer 👍
I like your works its seem flawless .in indian rupees including shipping how much will it cost bro.?
Hi, Shipping to India from northern Europe would be expensive because the cutter is quite heavy. I can make the cutter for €300 Eur plus shipping which I estimate would be another €300 or possibly more. My website has a free tutorial on how to make the cutter. wrkshop71.com
Amei muito bom
Looks like a good project for someone who is in special Ed classes.
😂😂😂
Great build!!! Did you ever get a weight on it? How much does it weigh?
Thanks.I don't know exactly how much it weighs but it required two guys to carry it mainly because it's big and awkward but it was a bit too much for me to try carrying on my own I guess maybe ~50 kg or ~110lbs
Just found your channel and Subscribed. Nice work I have to make a plan securing mine as well
Yes!
Incredible
nice work, thank you for sharing. btw: what kind of electro acoustik guitar is it? looks really nice to play cheers
Hi, The guitar is a Samick Greg Bennett series Model TMJ-17CE with a Fishman Classic 4 preamp and piezo. I bought it at least 20 years ago and yes it plays nicely.
Hi What grade of steel is the flat bar?
Just regular mild steel.
No quisieras vender los planos
Hi Leoastor the plans are free from my website wrkshop71.com/project-tutorials/
What kind of wood did you use?
I used a mix of Spruce and Baltic pine. Ideally it would be better to use a wood that lasts in wet environments like European Alder (Aļņus Glutinosa).
no - I cannot give everyone a thumbsup!

Your welcome. Thanks for watching. If you're interested in making one my website has a free tutorial for the soap cutter project. wrkshop71.com/project-tutorials/making-a-soap-cutter/
Well done! I got top marks in preliminary school due to a self designed wooden bowl that took half a year to finish so i like woodworks. In metal works a candle stick was made looking like the common curvy wooden ones. As a matter of fact, quick fixes can often been done using wood. The circumstances now makes metal works more attractive...
Nice job 👍 big-strong clamps 🗜️ merry Christmas 🎁🎄
That is so cool, new subscriber.
Nice scraper! How much did the Sandvik blade cost you? And where did you get it from? I have an actual Sandvik scraper (20 mm size) that's missing the blade.
Hi Aryan, I bought mine from an Ebay Seller. It cost 38 euro with shipping from Spain. There are also sellers in other parts of Europe selling these on ebay.
@@wrkshop71 Thanks. I bought one from a Bulgarian seller for just over $60 USD. Really expensive but I need the blade and it will last a very long time so not too bad.
For the same kind of vise, the same holes to clamp to, using one hole clamps has worked well so far. This designe is really rigid, and well designed regarding clamping force..
😊
Can I order several of those ?
Очень даже круто!👍
Looks very crude. I guess if it does what you need, it's fine.
Me gustaria comprar ese cortador con su rrespectibo molde como me comunico
yooo, good job - perfect for a small workshop
