Also, avoid using the pedals while doing a U-turn. When you press on the pedals while attempting to do a U-turn, power is sent to the drive motor giving the bike excess acceleration, and can really throw the rider to an unbalanced situation resulting in a fall. Speaking from experience. Thanks for the helmet I saved myself from a head injury.
I started riding bicycles back in 1958 at four years old. I’ve had ten or fifteen since then, and all of them had the front brake on the right hand and the rear brake on the left. I found it very inconvenient recently when I went out on my first ride on my new e-bike before I discovered how different it is not having the front brake on the right. Why was it changed?
Great video - as I am tackling my new ebike after not riding a bike for 7 years (when I fell off my bike, had rotator cuff surgery and swore off a bike. But now I want to ride an ebike w my granddaughter and husband - so I got the ebike and am practicing riding a bike and now riding an ebike. Your videos have been so helpful. But I need one more thing... That one thing is turning a corner or gently turning a wide u-turn. Could you recommend some techniques for this? Thank you!
Hmm, my biggest advice would be to be confident into the turns. Also, make sure to keep your speed up into the turns, you don't want to slow too much and tip over. And just keep practicing!
So another video addressed stopping the bike, said that stopping is when many people fall off bc of the weight of the bikes. Do you have another video which goes over stopping? Thanks 😊
When you go on pedal assist, the bike provides power from the motor to help you pedal easier and move faster. When you turn on pedal assist and choose your level of assist, the motor will provide a certain level of power output as you pedal. This may feel like a slight push as you ride.
What type of seat is this? I hate the ones that you have to screw and unscrew to adjust it’s very annoying and inconvenient and I prefer the ones that have an easily adjustable seat like this
Hi! Thanks for watching. We use a seat post clamp to lock and adjust our seat post instead of screws. You can buy this from a local bike shop but you may check it out with them first. Hope this helps!
Sixthreezero. U are the best!!! I have decided to learn all I need from your tutorials. I feel great knowing that your channel is so easy to learn from. The pacing of each video with the combo of vocal and physical instruction is perfect for me. I totally trust the advice you give, it helps me feel confident to get going. I’ve yet to bike because of all the bad scary stories of ebikes regarding their speed. So keep up the videos I’m a subscribed fan of your channel. Ty!!!

Thanks for this. Good tips! BTW, are the hand brake configurations set up the same way (left front, right rear) on all ebikes with disk brakes?
Yes, they are =)
In the uk its back btrake on the left and front brake on the right, so not all bikes.
Thank you for the video
Plz can you explain more about assiste en EBIKE.
When you go on pedal assist, the bike provides power from the motor to help you pedal easier and move faster. When you turn on pedal assist and choose your level of assist, the motor will provide a certain level of power output as you pedal. This may feel like a slight push as you ride.
@@sixthreezero thanks for the reply 👍😀🙏🏼
