Join us in person for a Sunday service at 9:30amET at Grace Community Church located at Grace Farms (365 Lukes Wood Road New Canaan CT, 06840).
The "Give Me An Answer" ministry began as an outgrowth of the dialogues Cliffe Knechtle has had with students on various university campuses throughout the United States. These universities include the University of Maine, Harvard, MIT, University of Florida, University of Texas, University of Wisconsin, University of Minnesota, University of California Los Angeles, University of California San Diego, Berkeley, Stanford, University of Hawaii and the University of Washington. Cliffe spoke on these campuses in front of the Student Union or Library at noon for five to ten minutes. At the close of his initial remarks, he'd open up the time for questions and answers, which usually turned into a two to four hour dialogue with students. His crowd size ranged from 25 - 500 students at a time, and between classes, new students would join the discussion. This is an extremely effective way to reach a large number of university students with the Gospel of Christ.

I do agree it was powerful, but it didn't end responding to the man's true issue: he does believe in a heaven and hell, he just can't believe there is any way Hitler could get into heaven (so the crux of the disagreement is a matter of conditions, not of the existence of something) . Instead of responding to this crucial point, and giving a proper justification, Cliffe goes on a rant about the atheistic POV, even though the gentleman doesn't clearly stated he wasn't an atheist. I'm sorry but with all due respect, Cliffe didn't honor his interlocutor, at least not this time. There are ways to defend the Christian POV about justification here, and justification is actually exactly what ended up tearing the catholic church in pieces around Luther's time. This is not a trivial issue and merits a proper response.

Whats even Crazier is to is that Morality Defined are principles concerning the distinction between right and wrong or good and bad behavior. What they are defining Morality is As Laws, and Guess what Laws don't care about you feelings, when a Law is placed a Law doesn't care wither you think its wrong or you think its write its there and you have to obey it if not there are Consequences and Punishments.
So what Moral Relatives are saying is "I feel like this is wrong and he feels like this is write"
No Laws don't care about your feeling even if the a rapist thought that raping was right that doesn't make it right to rape.
So Raping is always wrong no matter the persons feelings
Murdering Someone for no reason is wrong no matter the persons feeling
Adultery is always wrong no matter the persons feeling on the matter.
Masturbation's Is always wrong I mean even drains you physically
Raping Animals is always wrong no matter if you think your a cat or dogs its wrong.
This things are wrong wither you think they are good or bad because why? Laws Don't care about Feelings laws are placed for people own best interest wither they like it or not and because its completely wrong and 100% never justified. out of love laws are placed because they protect you form doing what is not wise to do and to do what is wise.

I've heard that there's no such thing as rape before. I mean few but some, one them was a congressman. It's something like because women's body automatically shuts down when she doesn't want it or something. So if it happened then ...What if they believed God made us that way? What we'd think don't matter, it's what God's saying so.

Thank you God for strong men in the faith! I always find joy in the fervent defense of God, that Cliff shows.
Side note: The young man's idea about "if Hitler could get into heaven, he wouldn't want to be with a God who could allow that" is such a backwards idea of grace. It's because of God and Jesus's sacrifice on the cross that men JUST LIKE HITLER or WORSE could be reconciled to God! That God could forgive someone so sinful is a beautiful example of his love for us and care for our souls. I pray that young man sees this understanding at some point.

Funnily enough, I have thought about that example that he brought up about the Evil Mustache man. It's possibly one of the ultimate tests to see how much someone wants the sinner to pay rather than forgive. Forgiving someone, and I mean truly forgiving someone, is very hard if they caused a lot of personal damage. It really is a miracle if someone that damaged truly repents. It probably is a bigger miracle for those who really want to see that person burn to let it go.
Seriously, that question is a major test.

    • @LartinBeats-rg6pf
      @LartinBeats-rg6pf 7 днів тому +1

Yes, if Hitler did really repent, he really would go to heaven. That's why being a Christian is so hard, because we have to learn to forgive our agressors. But that's consistent with the teaching of jesus. You can't fight hate with hate. But we know God is just, we have to have faith and let him judge. The reason we can't judge is because we aren't perfect. But God takes the weight off us

"The scientific outlook has taught us that some parts of our subjective experience are products of our biological makeup & have no objective counterpart in the world.
The qualitative difference between red & green, the tastiness of fruit & foulness of carrion, the scariness of heights & prettiness of flowers are design features of our common nervous system & if our species had evolved in a different ecosystem or if we were missing a few genes, our reactions could go the other way.
Now, if the distinction between right & wrong is also a product of brain wiring, why should we believe it is any more real than the distinction between red & green? And if it is just a collective hallucination, how could we argue that evils like genocide and slavery are wrong for everyone, rather than just distasteful to us?" ~Steven Pinker, Canadian-American cognitive psychologist, linguist, and author, an advocate of evolutionary psychology and the computational theory of the mind
there’s no meaningful morality from a godless worldview of an unguided/blind/pitiless/indifferent universe (R.Dawkins) born from chance/chaos/nothingness/unknown/stardust (C.Sagan/L.Krauss) where a rock in the road is as valuable as a person, made from the same theoretical primordial material.....

This has nothing and everything to do with the video but please listen if you want to otherwise leave it alone and ignore it. Hello my name is Justin and I'm a fellow Christian and Apologist but I'm also a college graduate. I'm not a closed minded Theist as I have nothing against Atheists or unbelievers as I speak to them often to understand their reasons for unbelief but we as Christians are convinced of God's Existence due to many real factors). I'm not trying to convert anyone or convince anyone to become Christians as that's The Holy Spirit's job to help people believe but only explain why I believe in Jesus Christ. There's actually evidence of God's Existence in Christianity. First of all there's proof that Jesus of Nazareth existed in history since the writings of Tacitus, Josephus Flavius, Pliny the younger and other historical documents prove that He was living two thousand years ago that even scholars both religious and Atheists agree with historically speaking but not that He's The Divine Son of God because obviously they don't.
I'm going to give you historical and archeological evidence for God's Existence as The Scriptures have prophecies that predate the events recorded in them by several millennia including Matthew, Hosea and Zechariah which prophesy accurately of the people of Israel becoming a nation again after over 1900 years of being scattered around the nations since the destruction of the Temple in Jerusalem in 70 A.D. spoken of by Christ in Matthew 23:29-24:3 and returning to their homeland after The Holocaust with Jerusalem as their capital in 1948 exactly as Jesus The Christ said. The prophets including Daniel spoke of the time where several world empires would arise and fall including the Babylonian kingdom, Medes and Persians, Roman Empire, and Saladin and the Muslims which went in consecutive order for the past few millennia. The people of Israel becoming a nation after The Holocaust in 1948 (ironically the melting point of gold as God compares Israel to gold that's tested in fire in Zechariah 13:8 and Jeremiah 16:15) exactly how Jesus The Christ said would happen since God us everything to come in The Scriptures and not just because people were working towards as Atheists claim which are impossible for any regular man to predict.
Just before anyone says Christianity is a white man's religion made to oppress blacks during slavery you obviously aren't aware that the first Christians were Jews in The Middle East and that Christianity just like any religion can be used by evil and corrupt people to oppress others but you forget that the first Abolitionists/Civil Rights activists were Christians who sought to abolish slavery, racism, segregation, injustice and prejudice throughout American history. Jesus The Christ loves you enough not to give you what we all deserve which is God's Wrath by His Own Blood. Charles Darwin didn't originally come up with The Theory of Evolution over 200 years ago as it is mentioned in the writings of Ancient Greeks who believed in Demons that gave knowledge to philosophers.
Evolution makes no sense when nothing has evolved after thousands of years of human history and supposedly the first creature came from primordial sludge several millions of years
ago funny how they won't believe that God an Eternal Almighty Spirit Being created us from the Earth) which came from a supermassive expansion of matter at high temperature that inexplicably created everything in the known universe that supposedly came from nothing billions of years ago. How did the organs evolve before there were bones, skin, substance and how did any creatures see before eyes evolved? I've studied evolution and abiogenesis in the past and read Darwin's " Origin of The Species" and I'm not convinced of macro Evolutionary biology whereas I accept micro Evolution like speciation and adaptation but not macro Evolution because there's no evidence of it nor clear observable examples of it where living creatures evolve into other kinds of species plus the fact that fossils don't show evidence of evolution and genetic entropy rules out evolution. The question begs how did two genders evolve from a common ancestor with a perfectly hospitable and sustainable environment with breathable oxygen and resources to survive on inexplicably? Atheists have the burden of proof to explain how everything came to be and why our existence is possible without the Existence of God from an godless perspective just as Christians have to provide evidence of God's Existence and the validity of His Word.
Evolution requires life to already exist in order to take any effect in living organisms so it doesn't account for the existence of Life and reality. Also evolution is impossible because it goes against The Law of entropy and the second Law of thermodynamics because evolution makes things better whereas nothing continues to get better but decays and turns to absolute destruction in the end. Mark Ridley an Evolutionist said "No evolutionist whether gradualist or punctuationist uses the fossil record as evidence in favor of The Theory of Darwinian Evolution as opposed to special Creation". God's Existence is made perfectly known and observable in the universe as demonstrated in His Handiwork in the intelligently designed manner that Creation was made, human consciences and consciousness historical and archaeological evidence of God's Word being valid history, fulfillment of Bible Prophecies God in His Holiness and Righteousness could give us what we deserve in Hell for our since but He's merciful to give us free will to choose to accept or reject His gift of salvation by grace through faith in His Son Jesus. I don't mean this is any condescending manner but if you'd like to discuss The Scriptures with me or have me listen to your view on anything my instagram account is Savage Christian Kombatant

Sorry to the Jewish brother about his uncle. To go through such a horrible, real-life nightmare, burying his own grave.
If Hitler is in heaven and I'm in hell b/c I had bad thoughts I didn't repent from LoL
The Jewish brother's uncle's death was and is not in vain. We have learned, from this time in history, the evil that is within and amongst us. We move forward, hopefully, never to repeat such an atrocity, and by remembering those who suffered as well. What Cliffe did in this video was trivialize the suffering of the uncle, simply b/c we don't subscribe to the idea of Hitler possibly repenting and being in heaven. B/c if he is in heaven, this would mean the suffering is justified. "Nevermind the suffering Jews went through, look how merciful and wonderful god is to forgive a sinner like Hitler."

Cliff didn’t trivialize the uncles death. Cliff is saying the relative moralism of Hitler and his regime caused the murder and death of his uncle. Hitler thought it was justifiable to kill anyone that didn’t fit his idea of a master race of people. Hitler played at being God and what a human disaster. Moral relativism says what I decide to do is right even if it destroys other people. Moral relativism is idolatry, man worshiping himself.

I don't often comment, but I get where the last guy is coming from, in a way. It'd be a tough pill to swallow to hear that there's a possibility that someone who you view as an absolute monster (Adolf Hitler, Stalin, Mass Murderers, Thieves, the whole disgusting lot.) might make it into heaven if they truly feel bad and repent of what they did. It's tough to know that the guy who hurt your family member or friend can make it. and it hurts more to know that people who you thought were good can't make it.
It's a tough pill to swallow on all sides. But the truth is, it's a necessary one. we can only see the outside and hear what others tell us, or read in the papers or see on the news. we're not the ones who can see hearts and minds. We're ultimately not the ones who are in the judge's chair. God, the one who can see the actions, hear the words, read the heart and mind, can and will be the only judge.

I doubt Cliffe or his Son will ever see this post, but Cliffe; You and your son have made a Believer out of me. I’m 25, and since I was 10 I’ve been trying desperately to disprove God. I watched my Aunt die, one of the nicest people in my entire existence up until then, and it broke me. For the last 15 years I’ve been spiraling heavily, drinking and doing drugs, going to parties, just trying to forget I even exist while telling everyone around me they’re wrong for having faith.
If I can’t have faith, if I can’t believe in something; why should you? That was my thought process. Ive watched almost every video on this channel in 3 days, and I’ve said nearly everything that every person you’ve talked to, and watching some of these students makes me think “Wow….. did I look and sound that lost and confused about my own “Beliefs” too?”
The most insane part of my logic was that I tried so hard to destroy other people’s faith….. but I never even read the freaking Bible…. Every once in a while I’d meet someone with serious and grounded Faith, and it made me so angry because they’d just smile and laugh, not even in a rude way, just like a, “I’ve been there before too, and I forgive you,” kind of laugh.
My father and I discovered we have both Sephardic and Ashkenazic ancestry from DNA tests he did, and when the Israel-Hamas conflict started this past October, I had just left the place id been living since high school, I was in a completely different state, I wasn’t working yet, and I just felt this wave come over me.
Suddenly, I just felt compelled one day to download a Bible App and start from the Beginning…. The last 6 or so months have been absolutely fraught with turmoil for me because of it, I’m about just over half way through the entire Bible and I’ve read the Gospels 2 times each, but Matthew in particular I’ve read closer to 5 times and I’m reading it again.
The last few weeks I’ve been falling again, getting caught up in my daily stresses, falling back into bad habits over and over again (As I write this I must confess I stopped using Nicotine for about a week, and I have some nicotine pouches in my lip right now…. But I digress). And only a few days ago, one of your Shorts on a random UA-cam account popped up into my feed…..
    .
Never in my life have I heard someone speak so eloquently, and put forth so many intriguing points about Jesus Christ. At this point, the only way I could fully exhaust my research is if I started going to museums and church buildings and request to view the real documents….
And watching your videos on an endless loop, staying up till midnight yet still waking up for work at 4am to do 12 hour shifts, just binging your videos. I just can’t stop. These videos are deeply inspiring, Cliffe, and I hope you and your son understand that you are living out the Parable of the Sower.
At first I was the seed thrown in the thorns. The stress of my day to day life and my deep-rooted atheistic beliefs refused to even allow me to entertain the thought of Jesus.
Then these past 6 months I’ve been like the seed thrown in rocky places. Actually reading the Bible for myself, what id call Faith suddenly sprouted, and I actually started to believe. But with no roots, that Faith died quickly as the stress of my life returned in time.
But with you, Cliffe? I feel like the Seed thrown on good Soil. You’ve given me my roots, you’ve given me an example of a genuine human being who really seems to try his hardest to follow Jesus’ teachings. You genuinely try to practice what you preach and it shows!
As you’ve stated before, which drove me to reread Corinthians; If Christ Jesus didn’t not die and rise from the grave, then faith in Christ is absolutely foolish…. But if Christ Jesus did in fact rise from the grave; It would certainly be wise to put faith in Him, and at the very least give His words another read in the light of Him being much more reliable than I am for myself.
I’m broken, I’m a sinner, and you are the first person in my entire life who believes in Jesus that’s said “You know what? Me too, and that’s okay.” You’re the first person I’ve ever heard say that I’m not doomed beyond salvation, that I can’t even begin to hope that I could be saved too.
But upon reading the Gospels for myself, I came to learn that, wow, Jesus himself said “Healthy people do not need a doctor, but sick people. I did not come to call the Righteous, but sinners.”
Suddenly, Jesus is no longer this impossibly perfect Superhero that’s going to damn me for Eternity simply because I made a mistake already. Suddenly, Jesus feels more like a real person, with real teachings, whose not telling me I’m evil and I’m never going to be good enough, but rather that I’m not perfect and that’s okay, because I do in fact still have a chance to be forgiven if I can forgive myself, forgive others, and put my faith in Him.
May you have a wonderful Life, and may you continue to seed the word on good soil. You’re incredible, because instead of playing the “Picture Perfect” Evangelist Prophet role; you’re being exactly yourself, you’re trying your hardest to listen and give constructive answers to people’s questions, and you’re making an impact far beyond just the campuses you go to.

@@jasonnoble7302 Im very sorry, I did not mean to offend, I just did not have time to properly read it at first so I was confused. That is my fault, and I apologize for my mistake.
With that said, Cliffe says in other videos on his channel that it’s foolish to have faith in Christianity for the sake of having faith. If you’re going to have faith in Christ, it should be because you’ve exhausted all the evidence and truly feel it’s what makes the most sense for you.
That’s why Cliffe describes hell not as a place of fire and fury and torture for eternity; but simply as what Christ Jesus said. Separation from God. If God of Just, then he respects our decision as free thinking and free willed beings.
If you say “I don’t want to be with you for eternity,” then God says “Okay. I completely understand and I accept your decision as the free being you are. So you can be separate from me for eternity.” That’s all Hell is.
Anything more comes from over-dramatized individuals, as well as Dante Aleghieri’s non-canonical Divine Comedy, which is where the idea of the nine circles of hell comes from, and the idea that Satan rules hell and tortured the ungodly.
That’s not what Jesus taught. No. Good is Just by His very character; so he respects you and gives you what you want. You don’t want to be with God, so he’s not going to force you into heaven if you really, truly don’t want to go.
      .
Everyone should decide what ultimately works for them in the end, but it can’t hurt to read every book available. Look into Nietzsche and other atheists, read the Bible, read the Quran, the Vedas and Bhagavad-Gita, and so on. Then make up your own mind on who you think is more reliable. Buddha, Muhammad, Christ, etc. Whose more reliable?
I love Cliffe because he’s honest. He says “Do Not believe any book to be the ‘Word of God.’ Instead, read it as a historical narrative of the life and teachings of certain people.”

You didn’t offend me. You made a claim about the coherency of my reply and I called you out in it. Thank you for admitting your mistake. Apology accepted
As for exhausting all the evidence and truly feeling it's what makes the most sense for you. Evidence is cheap. We can have evidence for almost any presumption. If we presuppose candy stealing fairies exist then I have evidence for the existence of candy stealing fairies because I’m missing my candy bars. Missing candy bars are evidence for candy stealing fairies.
It just makes the most sense
      See how that works?

What he wants to tell is that he doesn't want to saved by grace but on his doing. Opposite what bibble says.

@2:35, this girl has got a lot to learn about life. She apparently does not live in reality or she has some parents and or teachers that did her absolutely no good.
