Honestly the 10s was a great decade despite the few fiascos. And the GMA rehearsals was better than the actual performance 💀😭😍

Every year this decade sounds different from the last. 2010 was balanced. Also pregnant. 2012 was raspy but controlled. 2013 was fluid and light. 2014 was powerful, especially beacon theatre. 2015 was rather dry but still good. 2016 was daring and tbh problematic because I think she wore herself out for later years. 2017 was tired but had the same power and dare. 2018 felt broken, it was also the brightest year since 2013. 2019 was a little more restored and just felt like a normal year and the end at Christmas was super good.
I wish she had just lowered the key to Make it Happen and Christmas BPCH; this applies to all the years. Those songs are too high for her. Also I don’t think she sings CTIITAA live anymore and I’m sad about that because it’s so good and so easy.

She never lost her voice. Her voice has just matured as she's aged and the Rockefeller and NYE took a severe toll on confidence. Watching her recent performances of of Oh Santa and Christmas Time Is In The Air Again on The Late Late Show proved that she is unstoppable. Her issues are confidence, Rockefeller and NYE intensified her insecurities and as she ages her voice becomes unpredictable. Personally, I think it humanizes her and makes her a far more interesting performer. In the early 90's she delivered perfect vocal performances but it wasn't until 1997/1998 that her performances had soul, a raspy soul. She's the greatest vocalist of all time and she's also the greatest female songwriter and producer of all time (not to mention the most successful female recording artist of all time and the female songwriter and producer with the most #1) In 2018 she released her best albums in years, Caution, to universal acclaim, received Billboard's Icon Award, and in 2019 she scored her record-extending/breaking 19th #1 with her Christmas classic AIWFCIY.

And I love the way her background singers look at her. They know "the real her."

Ya'll give praise to Beacon 2014, but have ya'll really paid attention to Beacon 2015 ? Her consistency was just amazing, her vocals were fire, her tone was beautiful, she has resonance, power and upper belts. Plus, the outfits were beautiful ! 😍😍😍😍😍😍 Also, Vegas 2016 (February) was a blessing. 🔥🔥

Beacon 2015 is great no doubt, but we over praise Beacon 2014 more because her tone is from her prime and her accessibility and confidence is just by a few hairs better. They both gave vocals to hat gave

Damn her voice in this tear was Strong and clear....she took better care of herself because she was working on having children at this time. She could have already been pregnant, I wish she would stop the drinking that she does so her voice would be this strong. 1. 2016 - Consistency, more supported upper belts, confidence is REAL, ease & resonant up to F5
2. 2014 - Though inconsistent but so much more supported/resonant, & prime vocal attempts inspite of vocal issues.
3. 2010 - less raspy vocals, consistent up to E5
4. 2015 - so much improving vocals, resonant though inconsistent
5. 2013 - consistent but not as consistent as in later years
6. 2018 - most consistent year vocally with much pleasant tone
7. 2019 - year of whistling notes, technically okay
8. 2017 - rough tone though consistent vocals & resonant
9. 2012 - shaky vocals, inconsistent
10. 2011 (non-singing year)

Consistent support and resonance in belts up to E5, good head voice and good lows
2.2013
Pretty consistent support on belting up to Eb5, beautiful tone, good lows, incredible agility and GREAT head voice, first year on belting intentionally higher than E5.
3.2014
A bit inconsistent on tone but consistent support on belting up to Eb5, decent G5’s, good head voice, great lows.
4.2018
Consistent support up to D5/Eb5. Good lows and pleasant tone.
5.2012
Consistent support on belting up to D5, a bit inconsistent but had lots of confidence and good head voice. Lows were ok.
6.2015
Great attempts, great confidence, a bit inconsistent but good support on belts up to D5.
7.2016
Great attempts, great confidence, good lows, but agility wasn’t precise, she was very pitchy and was even straining C#5 belts.
8.2019
Consistent support on belts up to C#5. Less attempts and less confidence. Good lows and decent head voice.
9.2017
Her voice was thick and the support was inconsistent even in C5. Less attempts and less confidence.
10.2011
Non-singing year.

4. 2015 - consistent (from July until Beacon Theatre leg), great support up to E5, confidence

I often wonder what happened from the beginning of the decade till the end. Really after 2014 things started changing...
David Feudale well she had a lot of personal turmoil divorce and failed engagement her tv series new music the list goes on and on not to mention the fiasco at Christmas and that um one New Years thing so yeah
she seems much more agile in 2018-2020 than 2010 though. Now belting, well. Pregnancy changed her voice a LOT.
