You guys will learn to love that red Anderson leveler. Using it instead of those stack 'em up blocks is so much easier. I level in 2 minutes (have to get out and look myself). Love small camping trailers.
Oh my guys. It is a Basecamp, it is really compact. I could only imagine putting all those boxes in the Basecamp unopened! You guys are great! I found trimming a king size memory foam pad and comforter cover work as a great bed topper. You can flip it under for the 3/4 bed to use the two person dinette. As tent campers you may find the standard Basecamp is great. Great sponge spot. Your camper towels are cool. Where is your first adventure?
I am glad I found you on UA-cam. I just received the "your Basecamp is at the dealership" call. After ordering several dealership options yesterday I am planning the trip next week to pick it up. I have a 8 hour trip to the dealership, I live in the UP of Michigan. I am sure the first drive will be interesting considering it will take most of the day. Looking forward to getting it home setting it up for a trip out west for some dry camping. Keep up the videos
I live in the Houghton area. The Keweenaw Peninsula is beautiful. Fort Wilkins in Copper Harbor and McLain State Park near Calumet Mi, both are on Lake Superior and will not disappoint. Both of these parks are very popular so early registration is advised.
You should look into upgrading your hitch lock. Those Reese locks are pretty easy to break. We had one, and when I lost the key I found quite a few videos on how to break them. I had it off in a matter of minutes.
Hi! How many window actually open in the base camp? It seems that there are only two small windows that open, not including the back door. I would need nice cross ventilation especially while sleeping. Thanks !
$5.00 says in six months you’ll be selling 50% of the stuff on eBay. lol. People who buy caravans and camper vans should have their bank accounts frozen for six months to protect themselves from themselves.
Well, we can use your $5 to buy more stuff! But in all seriousness, we have had a spending plan all along, because you can really just keep going. So far we have used everything we bought and luckily we already had a lot of things from our camping days. :)

Cool camper, setting up the bed seems a bit complicated but I like that panoramic kitchen.

In terms of the actual windows, you're correct that only the two side windows crack open. You can also open the top fan for some good air flow.

Hi - So what is the mpg on the highway without pulling the trailer?
The Rav4 averages about 29 mpg without towing including highway and city driving so the highway performance would be a bit higher than that.
Which size of the "Roll Up Mattress" did you find fits best?

Nothing built in on the Basecamps. We end up using the iPad for music and video.
