We are weekend warriors and love our 2021 33' classic. I am 6' 2" and have no problems with the shower or toilet in that model. It was the bathroom that sold us on the 33' floorplan. As far as washing it, I have learned to treat it like a car and washing it correctly. Using the 2 bucket method, using a lube when drying and all sorts of other tips. I found myself watching Pan The Organizer to learn how to properly clean a clear coated surface.
Oh yes that bathroom is the most roomy!! We also really love the desk area that one has across from the couch on top of having a dedicated couch and dinette. Great floor plan we’re definitely tempted to look into that one. And we hadn’t heard of Pan The Organizer yet, thank you so much for the tip!
My first RV was a 25 ft Flying Cloud...I loved it!! If you're truly camping, you don't need a trailer/apartment....the only downside was the bed...it was a west/east queen...my husband, 6'4 slept on the outside...for me to get out, I had to sinch down...the shower had plenty of room..remember, this isn't a luxury multi million dollar RV.....We absolutely loved ours.. I sold it, and am now looking for a 27ft twin bed AS...couples, you don't always have to sleep next to each other every night...you get more room and storage with a twin bed layout
We had never been in an airstream. Stopped by to take a look and was sold. We tried to look at other rv’s but kept going back to the airstream. I love the space without having to deal with a pullout. Yes the shell gives you pause….but decided we loved it enough to get one. ❤
Bathroom space......The 25'FC and 30'FC have the largest split bath in the line up. The twin bed arrangement is even better. I am 6' and 170 LBS and have no problems with the shower. We had two other trailers before our Airstream. I can say I’ll never go back. We have the 23FB but we’re not full time. Our bathroom and shower is much larger which is surprising.
Fortunately there is an rv for everyone. An Airstream would not be a good fit for us but is right for others. What a great world we live in! Thanks for another fun video!
Having just returned from our fourth trip with our FC 28' RBT, space is a precious commodity! We have learned to make it work already. In the kitchen, we get collapsible items. Stackable items are a big bonus! The one thing we want to change in our Airstream is the storage area under the beds. We are going to convert them from the drop down doors to drawers. That makes so much more sense and it will be easier to access the storage. We are considering moving up to a 30' FC Office model. Just considering though. We really do love our Airstream and plan to be in it for many years!
I’m in Florida setting one up as a guest unit. I picked an Airstream due to resistance to hurricanes, hopefully. I also added an outdoor shower, since we can use that all year. Also, one twin bed is converted into a booth, the other one is a bed still. Then a futon sofa in the front living area. I love the lay out.
Lifelong airstream fan. and I appreciate this vid. Very good perspective and great info to ponder. It’s not just a little bit of money to look great towing the lesser equipped trailer on the highway- it’s a dang lot of extra money.
I've owned 8 RVs. Everything from a pop-up to a $1 million class C. But the Airstream is the best built of all. And everyone leaked at one time or the another. I have had zero leak issues on the Airstream. And your incorrect. You can get an automatic leveling on a Airstream. I have one on my cloud.
We pick up our new 28’ International RBT tomorrow from Airstream of Tampa. The 13 month wait is over! Main reason we opted for this model was the separate Lounge and Dinette. Didn’t want to deal with setting up and taking down of the table. We really enjoy your videos! Keep them coming please.
Yes. We have a 2 hour trip for two nights to put the Airstream through the paces and get our dogs use to the new trailer. Next a month trip to New Jersey and New York. Also planning a late fall cross country trip to SoCal.
Those are some serious first trips! Very cool. That cross country trip will be amazing. We just did west from TX to CA and it was great but would have been much better if we’d booked ahead campsites so definitely recommend planning I’d you want to stay in state parks!
They look like very good quality. Expensive but they look well made. I dont know if i would ever go cheap on a rv again. These airstreams look like they would last for a lifetime if you took care of it.
We have a 25' Flying Cloud. All of the things you mentioned in support of NOT owning an Airstream are spot one: bathroom size, storage, ease of damaging the aluminum frame, etc. That said, I can't wait to see your video on why one SHOULD buy an Airstream because I sense you love your rig, as I do mine. Let's start with ease of towing, low center of gravity, tracking.....Love the video!
They're great for couples, but for families with kids... I can not imagine. We're all about the bunkhouse with slide models now, but someday, we may just join you in the Airstream club.
Interesting thing about storage - I have lots! Choose the unit best suited for you. My unit has been well thought out. Exterior - room for all the camp site essentials AND, interior, everything has a place. There is no need to have morning coffee in the rain - my table is great (while the other three campers sleep in their own space). Sofa is wonderful for curling up with a book! Last camp trip consisted of 3-cats, 1-dog, 3-young adults and one very active Mom AND all their luggage. Happy trails!
Yep, our rear table disappeared and a 30 ft FC replaced it. However this is our 3rd Airstream and we spend more time at Jackson Center fixing items under warranty that should never have come off the line with quality control. We keep it but it is a love hate trailer.
You two are so cute! I agree, the windows on an Airstream are the best! I am currently parked with a beautiful panoramic view of the river and listening to the water rushing over the rocks, so peaceful! We have had our Airstream for almost 4 years and absolutely LOVE it! We chose a 30 ft Flying Cloud, which has an L-shaped sofa in the front, very roomy and also turns into an almost King-size bed pretty easily (much more so than making the kitchen table into a full-size bed). We also have 4 outside compartments, besides the bumper compartment, which we actually can store quite a bit of stuff, however not a kayak! There is also quite a bit of inside storage and more leg room in the bathroom. I say all that because the extra footage in some of the different Airstream models will offer a lot more room and comfort, so check them out! :)
Airstream and Oliver seem to be about the best fit, finish and overall quality. If you can get a lot of bells and whistles for a lot less money, get ready for the water leaks or the slide outs not working right. Airstream and Oliver although expensive to get into hold there value really well. I saw an Airstream for sale for about $30K from the 1950's! Thanks for the video.
Olivers are great trailers. I looked very seriously at them, but ultimately bought a 27FB International with the rear hatch option and couldn’t be happier. The Oliver only comes in two sizes. The larger one would have been fine, but I much prefer the clean minimalist interior lines and decor of the Airstream
Airstream is a top choice. However, if cold climate is in your travel plans, then Oliver is the better choice. If money is not a problem, then Earth Roamer is the ultimate choice. Personally, I live full-time in my 2018 850 Lance truck camper and love it.
Good tip mentioning the LevelMatePRO. It has been a game changer for me! Not an airstream guy but certainly appreciate the craftsmanship and sleek design.
Great camera angles, good editing, fine sound for the most part and the comment relating to the potential of getting scratches and dents in the shell is a frightening prospect that no one else has mentioned. This is almost like taking a fine and fragile family heirloom out on the roads on regular occasions. Were I fortunate enough to ever own one I would relegate it to the confines of a carefully cosseted existence in a glass showcase.
huge, huge fan of airstreams... we are full timing in a 5th wheel, i love the amt of space but indeed am afraid of the extras that can and will need replacing, fixing, etc.... specially the slides... excellent video, making people aware.
Hi AB! Definitely the space thing is a big deal! We’d love to be able to travel with things like kayaks too or just “extras” that enhance the camping experience but with the bed of the truck full with essentials we kinda have to deal without. It’s a trade off for sure but love that you guys are out there enjoying full timing as well and thank you for coming by to watch and share!
I just finished watching a lengthy video of all the problems encountered in and on a couples extremely expensive huge fifth wheel RV before and during their first trip. Man that thing must’ve been slapped together in record time using the cheapest building supplies available. Amazingly bad! It was nice to see a video on an RV focusing on design dislikes dislikes rather than it quickly falling to pieces. Airstreams are ridiculously priced but I’m figuring it out that that’s for a reason, especially if you’re going to be traveling lots and living in it full time. Unfortunately it looks like you’ve got to pay maximum $ for a dated design to have solid engineering. If airstream ever go cheap to drop prices then I think they will have nothing!
Yes, it can be tough to find the balance. We sometimes contemplate what it would be like moving to a fifth wheel - the space would be nice for sure, but it has a completely different feel and every rv is going to bring its own, unique set of challenges.
Awesome video! I would imagine that your truck makes up for the lack of storage as well. How are the tank sizes? We have a Mercedes Sprinter B+ motorhome and thought about an Airstream. I read somewhere that the black tank was less than 20 gallons on a 27 or 28 ft model, and the fresh was around 30. That doesn't seem like much and would be a show stopper for me. Is that the case with the tank sizes? If so, does that limit your camping to full hookups? thanks!!
There is no perfect RV. My Flagstaff 832IBS is close, but still not perfect. We reconfigured the interior to better suit us. We love the space it gives us, but the size limits us on some campsites in a lot of national parks.
Maybe you should trade up for a rear bath and twin beds? I’m 6 foot and never feel cramped in the bathroom and my twin beds give you 2 extra couches and 2 more large outdoor storage compartments.
This is only a review of one model... not exactly a fair assessment. What Airstream has going for it and i am FT in a 33' Classic is that it holds resale value, holds up better than most other brands. no slides, which are problematic for other brands.. you get what you pay for and it doesn't seem that this couple did a great deal of research before the purchase. I researched for nearly two years from soup to nuts, this works for me. I'm off road off grid ready and i have an 8' bed on my truck w a cap for overflow storage and organization.
We loved ours and it was great for us as we mentioned at the end. We wanted to give some reasons why others might not like it. We just bought our second Airstream and love it too! Just might not be for everyone 😁
Just walked through several ASs at the 2022 Hershey show. I simply cannot believe why anyone would buy one at those prices. So many negatives in practicality.
Back in 2015 I began researching RVs. I thought it would be a good option for my constant military transfers. I knew some people at the base who lived full-time in their 5th wheel. I thought I could downsize (1500 sq ft apartment) and make the 27' Airstream work. I drove up to the dealership, and was shown the requested unit. I walked in the door and.... WOW! I had no idea it would be so small. Reality. The Airstream was not small. It was what it is was. What had changed was my imagination of the inside. I hit the pause button. Good thing because I was transferred overseas. I returned in the summer of 2021. I noticed that many of the RV YT blogs had disappeared. I'm still on pause. I'm going to wait until a post-military life.
We wanted to love Airstreams. I even ordered a Silver F350 thinking thats what we were going to get. Love the Classic and the Globetrotter. I am 6"2" and the shower and the not really a full Queen bed was a non-starter. The salesman said "since you are that tall, get the twin beds" Nope, I like to hug my sweetheart in the morning just before I get up. We went with with an Alliance 310RL Fifth Wheel. 35 feet long, Kind Bed, big shower, self leveling, big tanks, very stable to tow, tons of storage. Here is our interior tour. ua-cam.com/video/-gvUOXN7wSo/v-deo.html.
Thanks for sharing Ken! We just gave it a look and honestly yes having all of that space looks amazing. Y’all made us laugh out loud at the beginning of your video. Nice to go with a 35 foot too so it’s not massive, you can pretty much stay where you’d like still and have all the amenities that are important to y’all.
@@OutdoorsInn Haha. Thanks. We don't mind making a little fun of ourselves. Its funny, every time I see an Airstream I think, man, that looks so nice, easier to tow, classic, Iconic, really cant tell just how old they are etc etc. Your video on looking a the 30Ft Globe Trotter was great....I love that model, although the first GT we walked into was the 27Ft at the Dallas show and we loved the style and sleekness of it. It felt like a Euro Rail Car. The 30Ft GT just came out when we got the truck. The 35 Foot 5ver is a good size for us....when I see the massive 42 or more foot 5Vers I think how difficult that must be.
Report back to us in a couple of years and say 50k miles and let us know how the Fiver is holding up. Do all the slides still work? How many tires have you bought. Any leaks? Airstream just celebrated 90 years in business in 2021.Must be doing something right if people are still lining up to buy them in spite of the price. Yes, I am an Airstream owner for several years. Nothing pulls like an Airstream.
@John Harper don’t get me wrong we love our AS too but you oughta check out our airstream problems video, brand new had a good handful of issues right off the lot! I think RVs in general just have these challenges and it’s tough to know what you’re going to get. At the end of the day everyone can make a decision about what they’d enjoy and the way they want to get outside! There is definitely something to the AS fan club won’t disagree with that!
A question, when you refuel the 250, do you drag the airstream to the gas station together, or disconnect the airstream from the 250 and only drive the 250 to the gas station to refuel? Thanks!
We try to fuel up before connecting, but we are often refueling with the trailer connected. It’s not ideal, but its not terrible. Just make sure you’re pulling into a gas station with plenty of room!
Also when towing the truck stop gas stations quickly become your best friend. A lot more room to pull in and pull out. Make sure you always have an exit strategy before you pull in to fill up
The bathroom shown in this video is the smaller of 2 designs on several models - at least before 2024. The 25FB & 25RB are a good example of the 2 different sizes - I much prefer the 25RB as it's alot more user-friendly.
Definitely! A different layout with a couch and separate table set up is something we’re looking into bc it’s just not the most fun changing it up all the time. Storage though is just a toughy with airstreams. Some have more closet space which would be nice!!
Obviously this young couple did not do any homework before buying their Airstream! Just because they made a big mistake buying a trailer too small for what they planned on doing is no reason to tell people "not to buy an Airstream"!! Not very informative!! They need a 40 foot 5th wheel, and that probably wouldn't make them happy.
I purchased a new Airstream Rangeliner. It appears that the window in the sliding door was not installed properly. Neither Airstream or Ram consider it their problem to fix. Also, I have discovered that the generator is leaking gas. Apparently that will be up to Cummings to fix. All of this is very disapointing.
Been living in ours for 1.5 years! You don’t need more space! Also, the natural light in an Airstream CANNOT be neat! Live with less and you will be happier!!
Careful...you guys might get kicked out of the club if you say anything bad about Airstreams 😉 Seriously, though, the main thing that would keep me from buying one (aside from the price) is the bathroom. It's hard to believe that I actually have more bathroom space in my 20 foot GeoPro, but I do.
@@OutdoorsInn I've been pretty happy with mine (although it's had some significant modifications done to it). And I've taken it lots of places I'd never dream of taking an Airstream, which is really why I picked it in the first place. If I could change anything, I'd swap the dinette for a couch. And a bigger refrigerator would be nice. Otherwise, I'm pretty happy with it.
We owned a 30 Classic for 6 years and had some issues. The ZipDee “Relax” automatic awning never worked reliably. It got to the point where we just never used the awning and it rode around as dead weight. The electrical wiring was an absolute rats nest. A quick look under the couch or fridge would make a a Bishop kick in a stained glass window. The dealer service network is absolutely awful, and now that Airstream has chosen to dance with the devil and allow Camping World to be dealers, it has become so much worse. Over all, we elected not to purchase another one.
Listen guys, if you planned on going "Full Time" in an Airstream, then you made the wrong decision from the start. Airstream categorically states that the unit is NOT for Full timing in or being used as a substitute house. Most of your gripes here are due to the fact that you are using a travel trailer as a full time home rather than as a camping recreation vehicle . I hear the same complaints from dozens of notably young couples on UA-cam who are using travel trailers as their permanent home. These were never designed and built to be that. The fact that they dont have enough storage for full timing is because they were never intended for that purpose.
I love Airstream, and I've always wanted one. But they are SO expensive and you made a lot of good points here! I'll probably only ever own one of I either win one or I just become stupid wealthy where it doesn't matter to me lol But the one I'd want probably costs as much as a starter home 🤣
I need to ask two more questions. First, what is the volume of the fuel tank of your 250. Someone told me that the fuel tank of the 250 has 36 gallons and 48 gallons. What is the fuel tank capacity of your 250? The second question, when your 250 is towing a 27-foot airstream, what is the overall cruising range? Thanks!
Ok we checked in the owners manual and it actually didn’t say. We think it’s the 36 range not the 48. When we fill up it says we have just under 600 miles but we typically get around 400-450 on a tank of diesel when towing.
lol its funny how people dont think about how every camp has ever been. the dinette converts into a bed, standard in every camper. small showers, and no separate bedrooms and living rooms. you dont buy a camper to live inside or to have 2000 square feet of living space like a house lol if you want living space, buy a house
Nice content and a pretty couple. Videoing is everything. Example you were there sitting in the TT with a flower setting and you didn't pan out to give us that view of space while you were sitting. Pan out get good visuals. Far to many closeups on yourself not the rig..
Been RVing for >30 years and haven’t come across anyone who bought their Airstream with the intent to entertain inside, so that’s interesting. What model and length is the Airstream you show? Don’t you have a lounge/sofa besides your dinette? I’ll give you that the dinette isn’t the best Airstream option but it’s sufficient.
Two supplementary more important reasons for not buying an Airstream: watertightness can not be expected from a trailer wich its manufacturing process requires the drilling of 4000 holes in its shell and the fact that they proudly have biodegradable floors.
It might be better if you pulled the camera away a little bit more when you're demonstrating stuff so we can actually see what you're describing.... like the take take down - you only see your talking from shoulders up and cant even see the table, or tire blocks. Otherwise nice video!
Speaking of the shell maintenance, is Basecamp better? I’m new to AS and by just looking at the shape, it’s different, so wondering. Thank you very much.
I have a Basecamp 20X, and shell maintenance is no different. Although, the BC20X comes with stainless guards that wrap the front of the trailer. They will take the rocks and debris vs. potentially replacing an expensive aluminum panel.
@@OutdoorsInn You might also look at the Thompson RV site in Oregon. It's a family business run by the little Thompson gal. She probably carries and sells as many Outdoor RVs as anyone in the country and can tell you anything that you might want to know about them. Her name is Corrine. Like the Airstream, they are made well and are not cheap! I follow a couple on UA-cam that bought one about a year ago...Irene Iron...you might want to ask them what they think about theirs. Good luck to y'all I'll be watching to see what you do.
Did you not look at the different models? All your complaints here are solved if you go with a Classic or different model. Not quite sure what you're trying to prove here other than that you didn't do your research prior to buying.
Hey Kari! These aren’t complaints, only observations for people who may be looking at the differences between an Airstream & something different. At the end we mention that we aren’t complaining and that we’re very happy with our choice 🙂
Could not be if you're looking at smaller trailers, but we just spoke from our Airstream experience. We love our AS, but it's not be the best fit for everyone.

Yes on the same page there @Harley 92. Some people really love having those smart features though but we’re in the keep it simple camp too.
Especially if wanting to be undetected and off grid.
That’s not an opinion. It’s actually true.
Only problem with my '73 Streak is the lack of 8track tapes for the player

Airstreams are great. I’ve owned one for 7 years and it’s the best I’ve had of 5 total RVs. Yeah they’re expensive but the structure is worth it

WOW 13 months!! It’s finally pick up day!!! Hope y’all have a blast tomorrow. Any big trips on the radar or a shake down trip on the calendar??
Congratulations! Have a great time in your new Airstream!
They look like very good quality. Expensive but they look well made. I dont know if i would ever go cheap on a rv again. These airstreams look like they would last for a lifetime if you took care of it.
According to Airstream 70% of all Airstreams built are still on the road. They started in 1931.
Yes! We will certainly have to do one soon! We ultimately love ours, but they aren’t for everyone.
So which model do you have😊

Yep, our rear table disappeared and a 30 ft FC replaced it. However this is our 3rd Airstream and we spend more time at Jackson Center fixing items under warranty that should never have come off the line with quality control. We keep it but it is a love hate trailer.
Ugh I’m sorry to hear that! There’s no escaping the service whoas I think regardless of th e kind of rig it seems.
My family and I went to an rv show. The only rvs that didnt shake like a minor earthquake were the airstreams and the $700k bus rv.
Such a good point! They are built well!
Asking $30k and getting $30k are two different things.
@Mark Domar True but there is some serious junk out there.
At least it’s easy to pull especially in the wind. You’ve taken really good care of your airstream.
It definitely is very seamless to pull! And thank you, Dan! Thanks for tuning in!
Agree LevelMate is the best. When we had to change the battery and kept forgetting to buy one, we really felt the pain using a hand held leveler haha!
No trailer is perfect, but when you go to sell your airstream you will find out how good they are. I can sell mine for what I paid for it.
The prices really are crazy right now
Back in 2015 I began researching RVs.
Thank you for your service friend.
That’s the year I got into motorcycles at 25, I got tired of waiting around and made it happen. I say go for it
If Airstream would just make it 2 inches taller and figure out a little more outdoor storage, it would take it to the next level.
I’m sayin!! We completely agree with this statement.
The pros will always out way the cons for us. AIRSTREAM forever !!! 👍😎
100% agree!
Right on
We wanted to love Airstreams.
@TheRoadSMITHS Yeah the 35 seems like a perfect fit. Jameson had his eye on a similar size/model too.
@@OutdoorsInn thanks
@@OutdoorsInn Thanks
Also when towing the truck stop gas stations quickly become your best friend. A lot more room to pull in and pull out. Make sure you always have an exit strategy before you pull in to fill up
The bathroom shown in this video is the smaller of 2 designs on several models - at least before 2024. The 25FB & 25RB are a good example of the 2 different sizes - I much prefer the 25RB as it's alot more user-friendly.
Not an airstream owner, but I do know that there are other airstream models that have more seating options, storage, etc.
Definitely! A different layout with a couch and separate table set up is something we’re looking into bc it’s just not the most fun changing it up all the time. Storage though is just a toughy with airstreams. Some have more closet space which would be nice!!
Hi! great video. Which model do you have? Thx.
They are so cute though! We are in the midst of remodeling one right now.
Airstream holds their value. NO OTHER RV does. Almost zero depreciation when cared for. Will never switch .
Would have been nice to know the model and size of the airstream? Maybe I missed that part. Will watch again to see.
Careful...you guys might get kicked out of the club if you say anything bad about Airstreams 😉
Seriously, though, the main thing that would keep me from buying one (aside from the price) is the bathroom. It's hard to believe that I actually have more bathroom space in my 20 foot GeoPro, but I do.
Haha don’t get us in trouble!
And you know what, we believe it! My sister had a GeoPro those are great RVs!
Well we’ve got the same exact challenges as you haha so it sounds like picking something off roadable was a great choice!
The fact that they dont have enough storage for full timing is because they were never intended for that purpose.
happy new year and great video! I considering downsizing from a Vegas 24.1 and I am changing my mind, hmm.
I love Airstream, and I've always wanted one. But they are SO expensive and you made a lot of good points here! I'll probably only ever own one of I either win one or I just become stupid wealthy where it doesn't matter to me lol
But the one I'd want probably costs as much as a starter home 🤣
Get a used one
Had many travel trailers. None have lasted like my silver bullet.
Thanks!
Sorry we missed this! I (devan) am following up with comments right now but am going to ask Jameson and we’ll get back to you on it!
@@OutdoorsInn thank you very much
Ok we checked in the owners manual and it actually didn’t say. We think it’s the 36 range not the 48.
When we fill up it says we have just under 600 miles but we typically get around 400-450 on a tank of diesel when towing.
@@OutdoorsInn thank you very much! Good luck!
lol its funny how people dont think about how every camp has ever been. the dinette converts into a bed, standard in every camper. small showers, and no separate bedrooms and living rooms. you dont buy a camper to live inside or to have 2000 square feet of living space like a house lol if you want living space, buy a house
Well said. I came from tent camping, so a 20FB is a HUGE upgrade to me!
It has been a great purchase for me.
This was a really good video. I liked and I subbed
Great video, good points on both the negatives and positives 👏
Nice content and a pretty couple. Videoing is everything. Example you were there sitting in the TT with a flower setting and you didn't pan out to give us that view of space while you were sitting. Pan out get good visuals. Far to many closeups on yourself not the rig..
Thanks, Jesse!
Agree with Aaron. It’s still Aluminum so you’ll have to treat both the same.
Check out the "Outdoors RV" brand made in Le Grande, OR.
Nice, thank you. We’re giving it a Google now!
Good luck to y'all I'll be watching to see what you do.
ill rather give up kitchen space for a more comfortable shower, but thats my preference!
Haha fair! They have a classic version with a much larger bathroom!
The way she looks at him... 😃. And she talks about kids.
What do you recommend then?
We love our Airstream! This is just giving people things to think about when considering an Airstream vs. other travel trailers and fifth wheels.
They’re like buying a Ferrari, you just want one!!!
Ahaha honestly it’s true they are alluring
Did you not look at the different models? All your complaints here are solved if you go with a Classic or different model. Not quite sure what you're trying to prove here other than that you didn't do your research prior to buying.
Hey Kari! These aren’t complaints, only observations for people who may be looking at the differences between an Airstream & something different. At the end we mention that we aren’t complaining and that we’re very happy with our choice 🙂
Complain, complain, complain. Sounds to me like you didn’t do your homework in getting a RV “tailored” to your specifications!
What size is your airstream?
27ft!
Airstream is a. Investment that will appreciation as time goes on they outlived. Any other RV
You are a very cute couple. Happiness and joy!
I have a 2018 33 classic. Constant problems and no support from the new corporate owners. Hate airstream. Waste of money.
Hate to hear that!!
Silly clickbait video.
Great job yal good info!
Thank you Nick!
Nice review!
No rv is manufactured to be lived in full time!
I bought mine from a part time airstream couple
I agree. The AS has very poor quality control. Stay away.
Maybe not with the trailer itself, but the problem lies with 3rd party accessories. I.E. A/C units, refrigerators, water heaters.
We love ours - we’ve found it’s mainly third-party appliances with issues rather than the actual build quality
Window reveal 💯
So why doesn’t airstream make slide outs?
I wish they did! They did a long time ago for a short time but not anymore.
You won!
Lance make a dam good camper
I kneel in my shower lol it’s not an Airstream I’m 6’3🤷🏻♂️
Good point!
I'm way too big for this tiny thing
Buy a big fifth wheel and in ten years pay someone to take it off your hands!
I think it would be too narrow for me.
Buy a house . It’s a camper! That doesn’t break everytime it goes out the door
Just breaks while standing still 🤷🏻♂️
it would take pop outs to fix this. you knew it didnt have those when u bought it so....
Seems like these issues aren't exactly airstream specific.
Could not be if you're looking at smaller trailers, but we just spoke from our Airstream experience. We love our AS, but it's not be the best fit for everyone.
Why do you buy one then
Space 👍🏾... the limitations don't work for me
Definitely a big reason why it’s not a great option for everyone. To have or not have space is an important question to answer!
It must stink to live with another human in an RV. I plan to have 2 dogs and myself in an Airstream in retirement. More than enough room.
Hey Stephanie, it's actually pretty great! :)
@@OutdoorsInn I’d love being alone more. I’m and introvert and like doing what I want and when I want.
