you didn't seem aware of this, but that Snake Pliskins escape game, the footage shown was a direct copy and paste of the very first "Dead to Rights" game which was also made by Namco, so either that footage was a lazy fake or the devs used an already finished game to use as a placeholder.
@@onaretrotip it depends, Dead to Rights released in 2002, so its hard to say what kind of behind the scenes shenanigans happened, it could be a Journey to Silius situation but considering the footage with pliskin is just him with all the DtR assets looking complete, I think its more likely they slapped a pliskin skin onto that game as a proof of concept demo, or the footage you found is a hoax and the game doesn't really have footage available to the public.

I'm surprised you didn't just do, like, 15 in this go and then revisit it with another entry 15 games later, etc. You went a little crazy with this one, lol. A LOT of cool games to take in here. Some I've seen before, a lot I haven't though, but one thing's for sure, I love that they look "distinctly Xbox," y'know? I don't know what it was about the generation - maybe it was because the OG Xbox had a more western slant being the US machine versus Japan's PS2, or maybe it was the more PC-focused slant towards developers, maybe it was just the views on what late 90's/early 2000's Microsoft thought was cool -- but the Xbox always had a darker, edgier, ostensibly more mature vibe to its library, with *a lot* of hard sci-fi. You can see that in their original "Raven" tech demo, and with games like _Halo_ (obviously) and its stablemates _MechAssault & Brute Force._ Looking outside of that, you still got stuff like _Doom 3, Gunvalkyrie, Advent Rising, Crimson Sea, Unreal Championship 2_ or _Dino Crisis 3._ Even the cartoony games were edgier on Xbox; _Conker, Fuzion Frenzy, Cel Damage, Oddworld, Whacked, etc._ Yeah, the XBox was *the* place for darker, more violent games back then and all - or _a lot of_ (maybe not so much _Johnny Drama,_ lol) - these seem to fit into that niche really nicely. Hell, I distinctly remember seeing games like _Duality_ and _Black9_ previewed in magazines & demo discs and those also helping to influence/cement the Xbox's image back then. That's kinda crazy that cancelled games could do that, and I'm sure previews of _Kehl: Fury Unbound, Y Project, A.I. Circuit, Technomancer_ and _Vultures_ still added something to the console's reputation for people reading about them at the time. I would've really loved to see _Black9, Duality_ and _Kehl_ come out, man... I miss it. I miss the XBox having that distinct personality and library of games with a certain "flavor." Hopefully the Xbox Series X/Scarlet (boy, do I not like that name. How do you refer to it as a singular?) will host some exclusive games that will help re-establish some kind of unique personality for Microsoft's game machine...

It was supposed to let you make stickers and shirts and have a social aspect to it but got canceled because they didnt want people selling the own virtual stickers or something I wanted to know about it and if it actually existed, thank you !
Not heard of it I'm afraid.
Epic list of games on this one man, it might seem weird but the one I really want to play is the Jonny Drama game!
Haha yeah, it does look cool.
So many unique ideas unlike todays cookie cutter and multi console ported games
Indeed. It's all money, money, money.
I've always believed that Microsoft cancelled True Fantasy Live after their bad experience with Sudeki's development by Climax. Too many delays only to deliver an unpolished product. They just opted to pull the plug.
Possibly, yes.
wasnt CITY OF THE DEAD released on PC? i got a game on PC but im not at home now to check
Not that I know of.
god i fcking love this sht
LOL Thanks!
Always interesting and a shame to see some of these games.
Well it’s not like Peter M to promise something and not deliver...🤦🏻♂️😂😂🤣
I’m pretty sure I have a load of info and screen shots in some of the Official Xbox mags.
Not heard of that game on the Wii either, may look out for it.
Like the look of that Legend of the sun.
Snake Pliskin looks very much like the Dead to Rights games, minus the dog.
Toon Army sounds like it could of been a laugh.
Duality sounds interesting and looked pretty good.
Thanks, Scott! Some interesting titles in the mix here, for sure.
Snaaaake! was caught Dead to rights😁
LOL 👏👏👏
wow ! what a waste !
I would have loved the "cannon fodder 2.5" game ! I'm still amazed that some people can find beta versions "stucked" into developers machines... :-o
Yeah, it's amazing when things turn up after years, on a long-forgotten machine. A waste indeed.
Wait. So you're saying that Storm Riders Online was developed b-by phoenix g-games.
*Dingo pictures flashbacks*
*Distant head bobbing*
AAAHHHH!!!!
😂
So I take it that you know about the Infamous company dingo pictures. If not, just watch one of their '' movies''.
Can you do this series for current gen consoles?
I doubt it to be honest, I prefer to do them when a system is at least last gen. I am working on 360 and PS3 episodes though!
Seeing creature conflict mentioned on an English speaking channel makes me all kinds of uncomfortable. It's like briefly jumping into a different reality.
🤔
May you please do cancled crash bandicoot games
I'm starting to branch off from doing just systems/consoles, so I'll definitely consider doing it by character. Would like to do a Sonic one, but yeah a Crash one could be cool. We shall see!
lol i find it weird that you know what lunar and grandia is but not what a dating rpg is
hint: its persona/thousand arms etc
LOL Still no idea. Not played Persona and never even heard of Thousand Arms.
What about XxX (2002)vin diesel game?
Oh, there are dozens more at least.
I wanted timesplitters 4 but noo as well as a few other gamss
Yeah, loved Timesplitters. New one on the way now though!
The storm riders not from Korean comic but from hong Kong comics
👀
They could still finish the games and release them for Xbox series X
Suppose so, in some cases.
Yes, the Bible is an adult horror book for sinners and degenerates who will suffer in hell for an eternity. What an insightful observation.
Well, it's an adult horror for anyone who reads it, sinners or not.
The unholy 2021 was true
?
@@onaretrotip that horror game actually predicted 2021 movie by same name
So many female leads, so sad.
Sad indeed, Robert.
