Hi Ben, I really appreciate you and will recommend your channel to my acquaintances. You really make a difference in the youtuber dump that understands from the computer review "this is a computer and is powered by electricity". 👏👏
This laptop has all the specs I wanted, even though the price was a little high, but your enthusiasm sold me on it. I finally saw it in person and the very wiggly monitor ruined it for me. It's attached to the angled hinge and not the base. Totally ruins the touch experience, which I use a lot. It takes 2-3 seconds to stop moving whenever you tap on it.
Hi Ben! Is it possible that you review the Flow X16? with miniled and Ryzen 9, upgradable SSD, Ram and even eGPU... this one was released at almost the same time with this zenbook. Plus wide colour coverage and accuracy, the flow model seems to be the ultimate portable device for creators. just wonder how you may think of it. Thank you!
Had this laptop had an AMD processor for better battery life and upgradable memory I'd totally upgrade for it. Asus is coming in nice, but I'll wait a little longer 😎👍
What are your thoughts about proart? Can it pull off all the 3D work and 4k editing plus motion graphics smoothly? But it's very expensive compared to x16
What about the OLED burn-in? And colour accuracy at lower light? Others say, OLED displays are not colour reliable at lower lights and the display has a very short lifespan.
Ben G, through your affiliate link, this model is same price as base model StudioBook 16X OLED. Spec difference is mostly Zenbook Pro 16Gb vs StudioBook Pro 32Gb of memory. Is the StudioBook performance pickup of 32Gb of memory worth it vs the features/functions of the ZenBook Pro. This is my max budget of $2,100. Alternative is VivoBook Pro 16X, but seems constrained by 3050ti GPU... unless your testing has shown otherwise. Help!
KAISER, dO A PROPER BENCH MARKING of various CAD AND SIMULATION APPLICATIONS used by Engineers,Architects, what is the most important requirement, cuda number?gpu wattage?cpu core?cpu wattage?cpu architecture?RAM SIZE? .There is no comprehensive video regarding this topic? VECTOR WORKS,STAAD,LUMION,SKETCHUP,SOLID WORKS,VRAY,MAX,MAYA,SAP 2000. some times last gen 11800H cpu With 3070 maybe faster for many CAD than 12thgen 12700H 3060.Also AMD maybe faster than Nvidia in some apps.
I'm not a complainer but took u long enough 😂😂 jk. Been looking everyday for this post lol. I have the higher model but still was very interested to see everything with your opinion. Honestly, the only thing for me to have made this perfect is 1.) 120hz screen (which Asus does have the same screen but in 120 so idk why they didn't put it in here) seriously Asus give it 120 next time! 2.) upgradable ram. I got 32 but still I'd like 64.. Make it all upgradable it's an expensive laptop at 3,000.00 almost. give us the options. 3.) my boy is right next time PLEASE offer higher than a 3060. At least the 3070.. For me this laptop is perfect for content creation plus some light gaming and big love to Asus for giving it rgb PLUS white back lighting keyboard which wasn't mentioned here. I know it's just colors but it really nice to just have it. Seriously Asus you have almost the perfect laptop. If you make these adjustments you will have an absolute monster that no one else at the moment can touch. It's nearly perfect ❤️ * side note for anyone reading I love watching movies on this the sound is loud ASF imo. sweet job on that asus. There is a lot of us who do content and game a bit, seriously great job Asus, you have an opportunity to really slap all ur competition in the face with its next update* If u read this far, Thank you for the video btw bro, enjoyed it!
Another USB-A wouldn’t hurt😒 I am curious how does the raised up keyboard feels to type? Also, what are the chances of getting a lot of dust into the body through the raised up areas🤔
And I have a dog who sheds ALOT. I just keep an eye on it and use a air blow thing from a far distance as not to mess with the exposed fans. I so far have no issues with that.
Hey, I love your vids and im getting into editing on ae, I have just gotten the acer aspire 5 8gb ram and 512gb storage. I was using adobe after effects it it has been very laggy, I have looked at some videos to fix the lag but none of them work. Is ae lagging because I don't have enough ram or is it just a cheap bad laptop? (I bought it off Harvey Norman and it was about $898 Australian dollars and it was on clearance) Please let me know if I should look at buying a different laptop or upgrading the one I have.
At 70w+25w, this has one of the lowest 3060 wattage you'll see. I mean, even compacts like the Zephyrus M16 runs its 3060 at 100w+20w. Contrast that to, say, the TUF Gaming F15's 115w+25w 3060. You can see why it doesn't do too well on GPU-intensive tasks. The low wattage GPU combined with a huge 96WHr battery makes the mediocre battery life very puzzling. Where's all the power going to on this thing? The lightbar under the keyboard and the glowing logo?
Intel 12th gen chips are powerful but horribly inefficient. So battery life sucks. This is why I will NOT buy any system with these chipsets. AMD 6800 and 6900 based chips are equally powerful but significantly more efficient giving you MUCH better battery life. Intel is in a VERY poor position at the moment. I'm jussayin.....
Jet! It’s been a while. Great to see you comment. I totally agree. As I mentioned in the video, I wish they would have gone Ryzen 9 on this model. It’s a shame for the sake of the battery life alone.

Haha! I’m so glad I have helped you.
Seems like those simpleton reviews get ALL the VIEWS though 😉
Appreciate that you also included da vinci resolve export time. Thanx a lot..

Agree hope you review this laptop seriously considering getting one mini led display specifically
ASUS We want Ben to get the 2022 ProArt Studiobook
That's crazy expensive compared to this one
@@Inc0gnit045 is not true actually XD is weird how the new model is cheaper than the older one! but both are great options either way
Please do a "Best creator laptops end of 2022 that actually have a full sized SD card slot" video. Thanks. ;)
Hallo , salam dari Indonesia 🇮🇩
We need the studiobook
Had this laptop had an AMD processor for better battery life and upgradable memory I'd totally upgrade for it. Asus is coming in nice, but I'll wait a little longer 😎👍
Do a best upgrade laptop for video/photo editing
What about burn in
Has lot of Asus app info for it. Keeps an eye on it. And I'm the new age it's not too much of a worry. I have no concern of it on mine personally.
Was hoping to have this for Revit and Auto CAD but it seems the 3060 is just not for it.. Man that thing is gorgeous, guess I'll get the ProArt
What are your thoughts about proart? Can it pull off all the 3D work and 4k editing plus motion graphics smoothly? But it's very expensive compared to x16
Hey ASUS, I want Ben to get the 2022 version of ProArt Studiobook for a comparative review! 🙏
Check some lumion benchmark it's really check the GPU performance
Have a budget of 1900 $ , please suggest the best laptop for 4k video editing
What about the OLED burn-in? And colour accuracy at lower light? Others say, OLED displays are not colour reliable at lower lights and the display has a very short lifespan.
368 nits peak brightness is very safe for OLED. Burn in is an issue specially for high brigtness usage products like TVs.
The studiobook pro and this with the 3060 may have similar performance no?

I was convinced to buy it until I came to know the ram isn't upgradeable
How Lenovo manages to stay in top 3 man , i really don't get it . It got so many issues

agreed, I'm going for a zephyrus because the battery life is so bad on intel (my current laptop dies in 4 hours at best)

Imo if I wanted sick battery life I'd get a Mac lol. I prefer the power of Intel. Just my opinion
