if I could get the same plants you have, I would replicate your garden. i think that says it all....simply wow 😊😍😍🤩 touches the soul, pure heaven on earth
Your ending remarks and the last shot at dusk really are beautiful. There is a change in the light and look of the garden in the Fall that is perfectly imperfect.
So lovely and peaceful. I have a spot in my garden that I call the Three Sister's Garden for my mother and her two sisters. It's so nice to remember the ones we have loved but not lost because we have them in living flowers. ❤❤
I echo everyone here who has said they wish they could see your garden in person! It is so picturesque. I cannot wait till see how your incorporated the floral library into it.
Hi Danielle -- You asked for comments on your stone landing in front of your raised beds. I agree, that you should make it just a little wider and a little deeper. I'm not sure boxwoods would give you the look you are hoping to achieve. It will block the view of the beautiful stones, as well as the backdrop of your raised beds, and close in your seating area. In addition, I think boxwoods will be too formal for that area, as it has a cottage vibe. Hope this helps! Whatever you decide, it will be beautiful. The garden is always under construction, as gardeners we like to change things up with a newer, more beautiful style.
I agree…beautiful gardens, but boxwoods would interrupt the view and the carefree style you have achieved. A softer border would enhance whereas I believe a boxwood hedge would detract. So glorious as is, though. Amazing!
Hi Danielle, I get so much peace and joy from watching your garden videos. Thanks for sharing your beautiful gardens with us. I love all the dahlia names. People are so creative!
Beautiful Garden. Thank you for the tour. ❤❤❤ Grace makes her rounds to be sure the Garden is Secure then stands guard in the raised chair to protect you and the Garden. ❤❤❤
Beautiful garden and words! You brought tears to my eyes. Peace, joy, healing, and a sense of purpose is exactly what I have experienced gardening and watching your videos. This is my first year gardening while also grieving my grandma. She died on Memorial Day this year 🌺 😢 You inspired me to keep going to honor her memory and continue to heal. Thank you!
Your garden is so soothing to watch. Your hydrangeas are gorgeous!!! Beautiful & so rewarding to see all your hard work. Good job. Cheers from Ontario, Canada 🇨🇦
Beautiful, beautiful tour (as usual). Grace is TOO adorable in her chair!!! I like the hummingbird trellis w/o flowers - it is beaUtiful on it's own, and you have a lot to admire in the hydrangea room. I agree about extending the cut flower deck with additional rocks, but I'd say NO to boxwood hedges. To me, it'd be too formal-looking and distracting from the views, in and out of the cut flower beds. The driveway garden is by far my favorite -- I LOVE the wood-pallet path and the looseness of the gardens. It's already looking very park-like, and I love that!!! But I know, whatever you decide, Dannielle - it will be aMAzing!!!
Thank you for another great tour of your stellar garden Danielle - your calm steady approach to narrating the art and beauty of gardening is like the immensely popular painter from PBS - Bob Ross...ahhh ... just perfect.
Thank you for the tour! I love how creative people are with the names! I should have nominated a few names lol. Congrats to all of them though! Yes, always love your garden and your channel, and it has been giving me purpose. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️❤️❤️
Danielle what a beautiful, peaceful, garden you have created💚💖 So lovely 😊 just like you🤗One plant that stood out to me, that I want to try is the patch of yellow Rudbeckia. They just look so happy. That huge grass you have does make a statement😂I can see why your hubby likes it. I would never know there were 10 stakes holding it up😮Those amazing Dahlias make me want to grow one! The names you picked were so perfect😍 I loved the finale with the sunset. A perfect goodnight from the garden🌄Thank you😘🤗
Love all the names. I really like the meandering path in the park garden. If u do change it I hope u move it somewhere else that we can meander the path with u. Everything is so beautiful!
Hi Danielle, Congratulations to all the winners, great names everyone. This might not be in the budget for the raised garden bed area, Yes, I would enlarge the stone to widen the deck, I would add a pergola over the deck, string your outdoor lights over the top of the pergola. It will give you the magical effect at night and provide shade for you to sit during the day. Enclose the room in the boxwood and add a steppingstone of a hummingbird at the entrance of the garden room entrance. As for hummingbird way, I like the iron work exposed, but if you want a vine try a morning glory vine on the left side where the honeysuckle vine is currently growing. Did anyone see the hummingbird on the verbena bonariensis 13:07? fun surprise. Beautiful video Danielle, great job filming! 😍
Oh Danielle your garden just keeps getting more and more beautiful! I personally think the patio is the right size and I love the airiness of the euphorbia there! Deanna
I think Grace chose that spot because dogs like to choose a defensive position, essentially a position in which they can view every entry and exit, every direction. From there, she can easily do her rounds, come back to her throne, and survey her kingdom. Personally, I love to see arbors absolutely covered in vines. I have two large arbors and last year planted rampicante squash on one, and tomatoes on the other. The rampicante squash themselves can reach up to three feet, so watching those grow and dangle through the roof of the arbor, squash flowers trailing like clematis, walking underneath, is magical. I tried putting in climbing roses, but they cannot compete with the squash, so I went with the squash this year and put the climbers elsewhere. Your gardens are looking spectacular and inspiring.
This was a beautiful video. I think everything looks so polished, healthy, and calming; especially at a time of year that for me is overgrown and overwhelming. I especially like how plants are framing and hugging other plants and the statues. Imho, the stone patio is perfect as is; the plants framing it soften the edge without obstructing and the size makes it more intimate and is a good proportion with the size of the raised bed area and the walkways surrounding it. I have a Doris Day movie collection and am a bit older than you, so I got the Rolly Polly reference right away, but had to think hard to remember the "Have mercy!" one. 😂
Such a lovely garden tour, Danielle! Heartfelt thanks for creating such a wonderful gathering space for so many Kindred Spirits who all find "peace, joy, and purpose" in our gardens. You inspire me in every single video! 🌸Dawn (5b)
I would put a boxwood hedge Sprinters, in front of the hydrangeas, then short annuals for color at the front of the boxwoods. Jack Barnwell does this on Macinaw Island gardens. They are gorgeous! Watch his videos for ideas. Love your garden, I get ideas from you also!!
Very pretty garden. Ur plants are so beautiful and healthy. Would you consider a garden tour in ur property…? It must look prettier in person than in camera. ❤❤ Thanks for ur videos. Continue to learn from u.
A wonderful tour and congratulations to the namers. They did a great job. Thank you for your positive and upbeat outlook on gardening and life Danielle. I too feel peace, purpose, and passion for my garden. Love your channel and love following you. Thanks! 🥰
Your garden is beautiful as always! Seeing your pets enjoying your lovely space is always one of the highlights of the videos. I love watching our dogs in our garden, two of my favorite things together. 🤗 A thought about enlarging your stone patio by the cut flower garden. Immediate thought was yes! and then second thought was you don't want it to feel like you've created a tiny little narrow pathway between the smaller side of your garden and the patio. Maybe make the patio a little bit bigger and put fabulous containers on each side giving it definition that you're going into that room. Some pots/urns or teak planters like Erin from The Impatient Gardener has, with an evergreen in them. Love all your creativity and get lots of inspiration from your videos. Thanks for doing what you do and being who you are!
I love diva dahlias!! Saw one at a garden center, I love that color! Deer won’t let me have nice things but maybe I’ll make a fenced flower garden area someday
Danielle have you ever caught the youtube channel Garden Masterclass? It’s a UK program w professional gardeners. I thought you would really like it. Your garden is looking beautiful, as always1
Beautiful gardens. I love that your gardens are always evolving. I have several dahlias but have never tried to save the seed. Have you made a video about saving the dahlia seed? Do you mark certain ones ahead of time? Great names everyone!
So beautiful ❤️ I so want to make my raised beds a beautiful room like yours If you can, would you tell me or perhaps make a video of the dimensions, number of your raised beds and space of your walk ways. I love your videos for the garden inspiration and the peace.
Hi Danielle - - many thanks for this beautiful, informative yet meditative tour of your stellar gardens. I would agree with widening the patio in front of your raised bed gardens, and possibly deepening it a bit too. We recently added 3 feet to the depth of our back patio, and it has made a huge difference in the perception of spaciousness of that area. The furniture fits a bit better too! In my experience, if I thought a hardscape area felt a bit cramped , I was always super happy after I enlarged it. Can you please share what plants you have surrounding the patio, the six white flowered low bedding plants? I love the feel, they give to this garden room!
You're such a joy, Danielle 😍 And your garden looks beautiful, as always. I loved the sunset at the end. I'm wondering, have you had less theft since you changed the stand? I love stone paths, you can't have too many of those in my opinion. The abelia looks great, I think we get a lot of bang for our buck with flowering shrubs, and many of them offer winter interest as well. Is that what you're doing in front of your house? I'm not sure the patio next to the raised beds needs to be wider, I think it might need to be deeper? Enjoy this glorious time of year 💚
I feel like I just stepped into Monet's Giverny garden, very peaceful and very beautiful. You and your husband did an amazing job with the entire design and flow of the various garden rooms. Just simply stunning, thank you for vividly illustrating the joy of gardening!

Lots of gardens just look like a jungle of mess, but yours is so thoughtful, form, color sizes and textures, practically perfect! My favorite!❤❤❤💯

Yes, I meant to mention this in my earlier comment. More boxwood would definitely be good in the front, though. Or other evergreen shrubs.
I agree…beautiful gardens, but boxwoods would interrupt the view and the carefree style you have achieved. A softer border would enhance whereas I believe a boxwood hedge would detract. So glorious as is, though. Amazing!
Thank you friends! Appreciate your advice!

What are the lowest white fluffy plants around your stone raised bed. ? White catnip?

Do you know if exist a tuberous begonia that can resist to tempetatures that go over 30°C ( 86° F ) ?
More stones yes, but I think a boxwood hedge would make the area look too formal and won’t match the vibe of the garden.
How long are the flowers pink? Before they turn green? And do you ever deadhead invincibelle spirit II
Oh, that sunset was beautiful!!! I have to ask why you were wearing what appeared to be latex gloves while handling the dahlias?
❤
Can someone name the big hydrangea variety right at the entrance of the main flower walk? What a oh so lovely garden
Straight ahead of the gate is limelight. To the right (turning red) is fire light.
Loved this tour! Can you tell me what that pink flower is @17:20? I have one that I bought at a flee market and she called it a spider plant, but wanted to know the correct name. Smell really funky.
I love your paving stones ! Do you remember the brand name ?
Hi Cliff! The ones near the raised bed gardens are from Lowe’s. The ones in the hydrangea room are from Ken’s gardens.
I'm in southwestern PA and have such a problem with deer eating my hydrangeas. Are they not a problem in your yard? You have a beautiful garden!
I use a motion activated sprinkler to keep the deer away from our blueberries. It works! Also use deer repellent spray on our hydrangeas and red twig dogwood. They don't do a lot of damage to the hydrangeas, just a few nibbles. So when I see that I spray. They love the Artic fox red twig dogwood, especially early in the season when the new growth comes out. The deer repellent sprays I've had good luck with are Plantskydd and Liquid Fence. The Plantskydd doesn't wash off after a rain so it lasts longer on the plants.
Thank you!@@laurahiggins4712
Wonderful as always 🎉
My hydrangeas dont want to grow😢
Another beautiful garden tour! How do you prune your limelight hydrangea to prevent flowers from flopping? Do you prune hard or just prune lightly?
Hi friend! I have the best luck pruning hard. About 1/3 off each year and only keep the strong stems. I didn’t do that with the one near the garage and it’s not as strong as the others. I hope that helps!
@@NorthlawnFlowerFarmandGardens thank you! I’ll try your strategy next year!
