Why thank you!

Thanks for helping me avoid some of the cringe
What a savage xD

I've had a pair of these for about the last 10 years, use it mainly for music. Let me tell you they sound friggin awesome for the money. Fantastic bass. Now it's time for another set...
I just picked this up at best buy on a whim after my Klipsch pro media subwoofer gave up the final ghost. My expectations were not high for these, but so far I'm very pleased. ALSO I DID NOT SEE THE PEEL OFF FILM ON THE BOTTOM OF THE VOLUME PUCK. Your unboxing showed me that and it sticks to the desk SO much better now. Thanks!
I'll admit that the Logi Z533 are a nice looking system for your computer. When I up graded to my new HP Envy computer I wanted to up grade my speaker system too. So I purchased the Logi Z533 system, read the instruction, and hooked everything up. Yes there was a "WOW" factor as the sound was fantastic and I now could adjust the sound. Everything was great for the past 7 months then the subwoofer developed a hum or growl. I disconnected everything and cleaned the connectors and reconnected the system. Still had the growl. I disconnected the desk top speakers and I still has a growl in the subwoofer. I looked for my sales receipt and can't find it and there is no repair shops around thanks to COVID. I purchased the system at Staples. I didn't buy the extended warranty because they were Logi's and the company has a great reputation. I couldn't afford it either so went without. Why complain? Because another person had the same problem and I didn't have an individual problem. Just letting people know that Logi had a bad production run so buy the warranty.
I think I know what your problem is. It's the wiring. Logitech is known for providing low-quality wiring with its gear. Upgrade that, and you're set!
Hi. Have you changed the wiring as suggested? Is the issue gone? Thanks in advance
Damn that sucks in the UK and EU it’s legally required to have a year warranty by default just by buying the product wonder if they make them break later here across the pond lol thanks for mentioning it I hope 🤞 I’m lucky
I can confirm that this System has hella good bass response!
Is there Bluetooth
@@jacobbroweleit8535 no
I guess Im kind of randomly asking but does anyone know of a good site to stream newly released series online ?
@Eliseo Emery flixportal =)
@Garrett Cristiano Thank you, signed up and it seems to work =) I appreciate it!!
It helps when speaker reviews include wire details including connections and length.
my NEIGHBORS gonna love it!!!! :D
Get a Z5500
Your neighbours will love you even more
😂
Always respect your neighbours as you like to be respected.
Dude the second you turned on the bass to 50% I was sold! I’m going to look into getting these over a sound bar I was looking at.
Excellent presentation. Nice clarity and the imaging seems good. Logitech is benchmark precision.
buy these speakers and they're amazing, I can't believe how good they are
Thank you so much!
Alrhough I'm not a content creator but I have plans to create a studio, this is dope!!
Appreciate your videos dude.
Glad to help
Got these for like $70 5 years ago at best buy; the color is tired but I under appreciate them at times!
I bought the Z533 set up a good few years ago, probably around about 2016 for £50 from currys. Still using it today, though I've updated from 4 core to 12 in the meantime. Sounds great, though of course not as good as my proper HI Fi... but then again that cost a hell of lot more.
Also using the aux jack on the Vol-Power controller allows another input ie a second pc.
I found one of these Logitech subwoofer systems for 10 bucks at thrift store. They obviously work & I'm surprised how good they are for being what they are. It's not too much bass & it's clear.
Man i got these for $40 on ebay the bass kicks pretty hard
Oh and they look great
Wow was planning on upgrading my rig and everything including the speakers gonna have to get a set of these.
Might want to get the Logitech Z623 instead. Only 20$ more for 3x the power.
Logitech makes great speakers for gaming or consuming any content. I have the Z313, a lil bit cheaper but still great. Once again another amazing review!!!
What about very high and low sounds? And movies
That is a sweet setup!!
I like the Logitech products, however, on here you can't really tell how the sound is. Plus I feel a good Pc system should also have treble control, it shouldn't all be about Bass. I currently own a set by Ev, Electro-Voice. 2 satellites and woofer, it has bass n treble control. But I'm looking to upgrade bcuz they are over 25 yrs old, still working but left channel has become intermittent. So I used a splitter and plugged in right ch. But I'm considering the Z533.
literally bought one yesterday!!
Awesome review, thanks. Any chimes/noise when using it through the headphone jack input?
Just got this today to replace my 15 years old logitech. Omg upgrade 100%
I have the z333 but I definitely need the upgrade.
thank you, cheers.
I'm looking to buy that now! My old system is ten years old.
I mean i bought it like 6 moths ago but a problem came out with the volume up/down and i got to series z333
Qué marca son los speakers que aparece al principio del vídeo que están al fondo con un led verde?
Great vid! Did you put your subwoofer below your desk? And if you did did you how have a stand below it?
Werry usefull information;)
ordering mine now. thank you
And how are they?
@@timomybier3823 pretty good actually
@@mikaelawaye2242 have you watched movies with them? And what about very high and low sounds
These are great speakers with amazing bass BUT they are not without fault. The biggest issue is that the volume dial is hard wired to the subwoofer. This means when the volume dial becomes faulty (which mine has) its not a case of simply replacing the cable and dial (I have had these for a good 5+ years though). The other problem is the headphone socket on the dial - it's great location wise but it's also not high enough off the surface your place it on and, over time, this means your male headphone socket, which you connect the headphone port will get bent and (after a very long time) then result in your headphone cable not working. For the price though... and daily wear over 5+ years, they are amazing value for money and offer amazing sound as well.
Damn I've had mine for around 5 years as well and the dial has just broken, the light only comes on when it's at it's lowest volume. Logitech have really good support for their products though so who knows maybe they want to help.
@@robprince9445 I tried Logitech support and all i got was a canned response. Given the age and price I thought I wasn't likely to get anywhere as a repair would likely be more expensive and involve sending the unit back. To be honest the latest version is not to the same quality standard in my view. Comparing the latest version to my originals, the logo is marginally different and the bass seems a lot, lot stronger. External build quality is still great BUT the first replacement had an awful crackling and buzz coming from the sub-woofer so had to be returned. The second replacement is doing much better, a little initial crackling when turning the unit on using the volume dial initially but at least for now... working well. They are more expensive but I might opt for the Vanatoo Transparent One Encore Powered Speakers next time.
have them too and the volume controller broke...repaired it myself tho (it's kinda sketchy but hey it works :D)
@@cimkep8250 have you ever watched movies with them? How are very high and low sounds
@@timomybier3823 Ye have watched movies with them, but I don't have them hooked up to a tv (have them on desk) so I don't know how they perform when you're farther away. What I have done tho is listen to music and it's a nice audio quality pretty much everywhere in the room. Lows are good but kinda depend on where you place the sub, highs are good too. Then again: I am no audiophile and don't know what like really high end speakers sound like, but I am very happy with them.
I used Logitech Z906 for a few years till the subwoofer died then Logitech Z533 till a few weeks ago when I got Edifier R1700BT Bluetooth capable speakers. They're not as good as the Logitech products but I hated the mess of cables behind the desk.
Does it work for a tablet if you have an aux connector?? I have a music app.
I just bought Logitech z533 speakers. I've got a brand new aux cable. When I connect my phone to the speaker every time I change a song i hear a distorted sound and my notification sound. While music is off I hear those distorted short sounds one in a while. What's up?
Thanks
i will buy them for christmas
Just gave my z5500 to my nephew so I can down size. These look good thanks for the review.
Did your z5500 have a Bass & Treble control? I'm prone to buying that model, even used.
@@MusicMinisterJP7 yes it had a control pod that let you adjust all your settings and inputs/outputs
@@halflife352011 Thanks, I am trying to make certain it has Treble and Bass controls. Otherwise I'll go with the Logitech T40 system, it has them separate. Thx.
This video should be called "Stop kicking MA BOX"
When turning on and off the potentiometer there's a short pop and crackle (at the point of contact). I've tried with just speakers (NO PC ON), its definitely a volume knob.
Will this damage my speakers, should I be worried?
Thanks
I just came here cuz i bought mine and this is so worth it! can buy that you will not regret
what about deep and high sounds in music? are they good for movies?
Would have to agree, These speakers win in the aesthethics department.
Is it possible to connect Alexa to these speakers? I have an Echo dot and I wonder if it is possible to connect it via a 5mm jack to the subwoofer input. I see you also have some version of Alexa. Maybe you've tried?
Great sound indeed BUT...the volume fader in the control mod just broke after only a few months usage. It started noisy behaviour in the output whenever I changed the sound level, It sounded like a worn out contact in the old analog potenciometers/faders. Probably a defective I guess. Had to dump the whole set. Since you cannot unplug the control module from the box (hardw
ired) it couldn't be repaired. Truly a shame for such a brand. Anyone got the same problem?
Same, I had issues with the volume knob "dying." My first set lasted for a little over a year before the volume knob stopped working. I did a warrantee claim and got a replacement but the same issue occurred after a few months. I then took it upon myself to fix it and an all I did was solder a wire under the potentiometer and it started working again. The only issue with this fix is it doesn't fully turn off and the power LED stays on.
Hows playing music sound?
I love this, i dont need to spend thousands of dollars to get this great quality sound of speaker...
neighbors came knocking, big thumbs up
If I have the main audio cable going into my PC, how to I switch between the AUX port and the PC cable? Or does the AUX port take priority over the PC cable?
As much as i Wish I bought this sound system, I sadly didn't buy it because after viewing all the pictures, I failed to see that the Bass Knob was on the side of the Volume controller. Other systems I've seen have the Knob on the Sub itself. I ended up thinking this Z533 system had preset Bass similar to the very basic Z313 Model that has only a volume knob and no Bass adjuster for the Sub. Due to this mistake I ended up purchasing a less Powerful Logi Z323 model which is similar to the Z313 but actually has the "Bass Knob" located on the Sub itself. Now after seeing the Z533, I'm definitely going to get one of these for my Next Gaming Desktop PC!
Mine create a lot of white noise and hissing I don't know what to do...
I legit have the same monitor as u i just got the z906 500W their great
I used to have the Z906 but the subwoofer died.
Just got some of these 2nd hand for about $25
not bad. I'm looking tor tweeter too though
my z533 had no sound in left speaker, the first thing is to try look is at the connector for the speaker that has no sound, squeeze the connector inwards so it makes harder contact with the output on the sub-woofer box's amplifier board, the connector is loose and making poor contact with the amplifier output connection. if that doesn't fix it than you must unscrew the amplifier board and check for loose capacitors, you must reflow the solder because the capacitor solder joint has broken loose and is making poor contact
Or just send em back and get new 1s
@@jeffmeme1926 I bought you some eBay there is no warranty left on it
great speakers
How long is the cable for the "controller"?
@alexander bernard you sure the sound is the same?
NICE!
I might get these to replace my Z623s that are getting wonky. I wish the center part was not gold though...would like that to be changeable (maybe it can be painted?)
I also don't like the gold,, I want it all black.. You can try black shoes spray
Does it connect to your monitor? If so is it via hdmi or just a regular headphone jack type thing
Got these speakers and sound quality is amazing on every level but hate noise where aux connect to volume round. It clips and hurts by ears if cable is slightly moved. I even changed cable and its same thing. Aux nest is bad quality
Hey man, I've got a question
I have these, and they're my first desktop speakers. Is the hissing/whitenoise normal? It gets louder with the volume. While it's kind of inaudible at the proper distance and no one blasts their speakers from an arm's lenght away anyways, it's still quite annoying.... although the speakers still sound great overall.
It is normal.
just play around with the jack that goes into the pc. it happens to every speaker dont know why :D
Good soundsystem is great for a good gaminig
And what about movies
Great video thanks!
wich is better, trust tytan 2,1 or logitech z533
Sick he’s a trainer 🤘🏽🤘🏽
How does this compare to the Logitech Z333?
I miss my X-230.. best 2.1 System i ever had.
Mine are still going after 17 years!
Whats the treble like my "G"
How do you like that monitor
Not for anyone serious about audio. A set of Edifier speakers would sound much better. Kanto would be even better
I'm looking for a good desktop speakers, you'd pref z533 instead of Logitech Z625 / Z623
@@jimidgaffigan8731 Thanks for getting back to to.
Right now I have my PC running through my Sony ST5000 7.1.2ch 800W Dolby Atmos Soundbar with Wireless Subwoofer (HT-ST5000).
Which is actually plugged into the TV's HDMI port. The nice thing about the soundbar, I got 3 HDMI 2.2 ports.
Keep in mind I don't have a monitor just yet, running the PC through my LG 75 inch TV.
When I get my monitor. I was thinking of running the PC through my soundbar still so I don't need to buy a small sound speaker setup. But, I'm unsure if I can.
At any rate thanks for the reply. Yes, I have someone living next to me, and two familys above me. So when you walk into the main apartment there's a downstairs and upstairs. that holds two doors.
They still got the white version?
I can't connect it to vga
If it's a computer speakers then you can put you can put it on UA-cam like whatever Song do u wanna heer
It's nice, but they're behind the times with no usb ports nor optical audio ports
hows the base on thse? looking to get new speakers soon and these look promising
Well it has a subwoofer so pretty good likely
I saw the left speaker move on its own
bought these today for $80, steal!!!
This ones are 75 euros and the z333 are 45-55 euros. Its the diference worth It?
How do these compare to Bose Companion II series 3? Both the same price now
@Saucy Saucer I bought both. The logitech do sound better with the subwoofer, especially if you're going to listen to things with a lot of bass or action movies/gaming. In the end though, I went with the Bose because they do the job and they look a lot more classy and minimalistic with less wires, match my monitor perfectly, and I'll be seeing them a lot more than actually using them in my case.
Would you recommend this for outdoor projector use?
Yeah, just don't get it wet
Hi I have these speakers they are amazing btw. Anyway I currently working on a song and I am at the point where I am testing it out on multiple sound systems. Headset/Phone/Speakers etc and I am just wondering what the accurate bass volume would be on my song ? Because these speakers you can turn the bass up and down I am trying to figure out the accurate volume of my bass in my song but not sure because you can change the Bass low to high where about's would the accuracy lie ?
it should be in the middle because most of them work in this bass setting
These look like nice upgrade to many of the speakers that logitech puts out. However nowadays you can get a Logitech Z623 system for around 120$, so it doesn't seem like it's worth it to spend this much for only 1/3rd the power. I'm sure at some point they'll lower the cost of these to compensate, sliding it into the Z333's price bracket. That's how it tends to go with logitech.
NOT AT ALL! THESE ARE 150$ NOW AND THE Z623 ARE 170! Still worth to buy the z623 instead though. So glad I got 2 of them on Black Friday for 100$. Great gifts, and a great investment.
Prices where I live for stuff like this is through the roof due to import taxes so the less expensive models allow me not to have to sell my kidneys.
does anyone know if i will need a better psu for this
I don't think so
Some people say that these speakers don't have middle tones and some say the standby mode is annoying, can somebody confirm or deny?
These speakers are awesome. Mids, highs, woofer all consistently come through. I use them everyday
@@TheAverageTechGuy Good to know, thanks man!
The stnadby mode is indeed anoying, it turns off automatically whn it doesn't detect signal and then it's hard to turn them back on. The problem seems to be the dial controler, mine broke last month
great video! do you think this will be good for a turntable setup?
Did you ever find out? I am wondering the same thing
@@hydro8111 No, i didn't buy these...
@@PeerHond69 Hey! So what you bought?

@@PeerHond69 Okay! Thanks for the answer.
I got the z906 🤣
For those wanting more power, the z625's are only about $30 more and have a whopping 80 MORE watts, and are also THX certified.
bluetooth?
Nahh lol right now they're 72 bucks more than the Z533s where I'm at. The Z533s are definitely more bang for your buck.

Yeah
No USB connectivity for a MP3 player?
Do you have any hiss/noise sound when turned on? Because I do with mine.
Sorry no. Make sure all the cables are plugged in well and make sure none of the cords are bent
It's probably electrical interference, from the eletrical grid. and i dont know a way to get rid of it. But i have not search must for a solution. So you might find one
@@TheAverageTechGuy Everything is plugged well and yeah the power cable is bent with a plastic cord in order to reduce space, but I find it stupid that this would cause the noise.
@@Flygandemuffins I looked everywhere on google but it didn't solve anything. So what I did is to face the speakers to the wall so the noise is less hearable.
@@Flygandemuffins I know that this comment is 2 months old now but you can defeat electrical interference by buying a plug socket extension that can jump the electrical current, I used this as a jazz guitar player and suffered with E.I when I wanted a clean sound out of my amplifier.
Logitech 625 vs 407?
using it to watch this video lol
I wonder if those phase plugs are real. 🤔 Or is it just aesthetics.
But this would definitely do better than a similarly priced soundbar for TV viewing in small-ish rooms. Much better stereo sound field. And all that Virtual Surround Sound stuff is already built-in to most TVs, plus more and more TVs have Alexa/Google Assistant. For this sort of budget, why pay those TV companies twice by buying their recommended soundbar. 🤷🏾♂️
I'm wondering about how much watts that's pulling!
121 W
Why do they say logi on the speakers instead of logitech?
Its the modified versions the old ones say logitech
