Ok guys. Thanks 🙏 because of listening to almost all of these now...I have developed my own Lorne impression. I'm using it if I have to say something to someone I don't really want to say ..like " I'm sorry, but I have to cancel..." In Lorne's voice. It works like a charm.

I could listen to you guys all day. Not only are you funny, your conversations are comedic history. The comedy genre is probably the most precious form of entertainment. Very few people can pull it off well.
I just started listening to you guys a few weeks ago and am on a binge. One thing I find interesting is the consistency and confirmation by disparate guests of the shared stories. I'm always like "fuck Dana, or fuck Spademan, you told this same damn story with x, you, and z guest", but then I realize to relevant continuity. Golden. Buh-bye.

That was really good. Kimmel kept them on track better than usual and we got more details from their stories we’ve heard before. Definitely added a lot of value! Good job Jimmy!! 🎉
Kimmel did a great job of herding these two cats. You can see how being an experienced interviewer rather than a comedian, when needed, makes the difference. I’ve listened to most of these episodes, and they usually ramble in one way or another. This one had structure, and it seemed like that made both Carvey and Spade more relaxed. I’m not a super fan of Kimmel, but his skill made this the best episode in the series. It really requires one person to be in Kimmel’s role. Maybe they should hire a third person to facilitate the proceedings. One who’s happy to let others shine, and to ask specific followup questions when necessary.
100%. They cover the same topics, never prepare, and David often seems to lose interest.

He was the producer behind the scenes of the Kevin and Bean LA radio show, constantly in their ear feeding them jokes and keeping them on topic
the fact that kimmel didn’t show up in black face, didn’t demand you guys take more vaccines, and isn’t cry makes this a very successful interview. congrats boys!!

It's amazing how much funnier and more likable Jimmy Kimmel is when he isn't babbling on about politics or doing hacky Trump jokes.
Back in the day, I knew Spade was funny but I thought he was a bit mean-spirited because of Hollywood Minute. I've come to realize that it was just an act and he's really a nice guy. I'm so glad he and Carvey do this podcast.
Kimmel did a fantastic job on this episode. He's great at everything he does.

Just great. The chemistry, the chemistry. Jimmy is a master at interesting and pointed follow ups. David nailed the anecdotal bits and his trademark snark insertions are as funny and pitch perfect to my ear as in years past.
I never saw Dana or David back in their pre SNL stand up days but I did see A. Whitney Brown when his sidekick was his Dog of Renown. He'd do standup street theater in Ghirardelli square in The City and Mom would bring my sis and I on outings there often. Had to be '79ish or something. Aside from his failed moment in front of Sir Paul, 12 year old me thought A. Whitney killed back in the day.

Funny, I like this David Spade in Fly on the Wall, and I used to dislike him, because of Hollywood Minute. I thought it was smarmy. Yet now I know Mr Spade just wanted to be there with anything. I can sympathize. Cheers.

I thought it was interesting when Jimmy seemed to try and get them to agree that Chevy Chase sucks. However, Dana and David seem to have empathy for Chevy and maybe even an affinity towards him that many others don’t have.

Chevy is a legend, and Kimmel is a woke puppet.
I still remember how REALLY PISSED OFF Eddie Murphy was with Spade. I think he even threatened him. Not positive though. Eddie Murphy got his start being a comedian. He made fun of people too. I can't stand people who, can dish it, but can't take it. Hollywood Minute was so damn funny.

1- Jimmy Kimmel
2- Conan
3- Adam Sandler
These three were really entertaining and easy to follow. Hope they get when things cool off, Alec Baldwin .

Dana Carvey talks 70 % of the time, Spade talks 10 % and Kimmel talks 20% of the time. Carvey is good, but not that interesting to dominate like he does. Heard his story several times.
