Even as a small boy I noticed my mother was so much happier with her second husband who was dominant and masculine and then became more anxious with her 3rd husband who is submissive
Incredible interview with a lot of nuances and insights. This turned some things upside down for me, and now I'm starting to question and re-evaluate some things about myself. Thanks for this.
I cried too. I like to live like her. I remember in a video there was a part who a man says to a woman: losing herself in a relationship is part of to find herself.
As a woman, I need my masculine energy to balance my energy as a submissive. I am naturally good at many things and better than men at some of those things. I will not erase myself to become a better submissive and I want to bring the best to the table. Also it makes me more interesting as a woman. Men can get bored easily.
The fact that it was HIM who recognized her strengths and still desired her functionalities after the transition is very very telling. Im so thoroughly impressed by him. I know this dynamic can only work if they both are in tuned with eachother and both participate. After being married 14yrs. This won't work for me. Its beautiful for those who do. This is like my 3rd edit😂 but im really inspired by them. She has done the work and now she gets to reap the rewards and those rewards are for life. This is deep and I learned sooo freaking much from them as a submissive. But give it up for snoop dog😅😅❤ welp 4th edit towards the end the final words...im in tears damnit
Wow... This was the most inspirational better understanding content I have ever came across... Thanks so much for sharing your lifestyle in such understanding way, this video has definitely helped me with some questions and thoughts to my self development and how to become a better person / Man / Dom. I'm most definitely looking forward to follow and subscribe to all of your blogs. Andrew is definitely a mentor that I can look up to. Much appreciated that you tooked time and share your experiences.
I don’t always know how to explain to people the type of man I am looking for, when asked. Now, I can just show them Andrew 😝 he’s a dreamboat for a dom and I hope my next Master is on Andrew’s level, he just gets it.
Not that I've seen a lot of interviews with this type of relationship, but this one seems healthier than most. I've always looked at this type of relationship as an egotistical man that feels far superior to women and a weak woman who can't think for herself. This was a better explanation. While I like for my boyfriend to make certain decisions, because I just don't want to, this lifestyle is most definitely not for me. I'm way too strong minded, independent, and don't like being told what to do. Lol. And I'm damn sure not bowing at anyone's feet...good grief. However, everyone should do what works for them and makes them happy.
I don't understand how you think this is a new concept. This is what the Bible teaches. The man takes the lead in a loving way. The woman is submissive. This is how God meant it to be. Not to an extreme. But the man is supposed to have the womans best interest at heart, and the woman is supposed to be responsible for a lot also. Like keeping a decent home, and caring for the family. Not have your husband choose your clothes or food. Traditional marriage. The problem is that many men do not put their wife's welfare before his own. When they both care that much about each other, and keep GOD's standards, it is very rewarding.
What if a man has a desire for the woman to be dominant in their relationship? You can't expect everyone to be the same, the God you believe in didn't create every man the same way and didn't create every woman the same way. Some men are going to be less masculine than other men and therefore want to be more submissive to their woman. When you say "God intended it to be this way", you're discrediting the existence of men who like to be submissive to their woman, you're also assuming that every man is the same and every woman is the same. The world isn't a black and white place, there's lots of nuance in everything. It's sad to me that this has to be explained to a fully grown adult (assuming you are an adult).
@@Scriabin_fan I am talking about God's standards, not my own. Although I have no objection to it because my husband always consults me, and has my well being at heart. We are not talking about every decision, but when you have opposing views on how to handle a particular thing, the husband makes the final decision. And it may not be the best decision, but I always support it and do my best to go along with it. There are times when he says "I should have taken your advice", but we keep going, and learn each others strengths. Of course I believe women complement men. They can do things we can not, and we can do things they cannot. Our abilities are not equal, but our respect for each other is. So it works, and there is no arguing or resentment. I believe that the One who created us, knows what is best for us. Period.
@@Scriabin_fan I am only telling you what the Bible says. It also says that you don't have to marry. No, I don't believe all people are the same. Of course not. It is definately hard work to try to be a good wife, and to be a good husband. This is what we strive to do, and we strive to cultivate the fruits of the spirit. People are not perfect, but by the same token, God has certain standards that he expects us to try very hard to attain.

I’m curious, and this might have been answered already but what if she said no to being your submissive. Would you just keep going in the marriage or would that need eventually get to you ?
Hey, Andrew here! I actually did a lot of journalling about that when she was in the process of deciding whether or not to come along with me on this journey. And honestly, I'm kind of glad I never had to find out. I know I wouldn't have just walked away from her, but I also know that this was extremely important to me. I would have continued to step into my own strength and work on myself and hoped that she'd come around and understand what I was asking of her, but I can't say for sure that I would have stayed forever if she completely refused to give this a chance and fought against it. Because this was always about so much more than just D/s for me. It was about being in a relationship that valued polarity, passion, and deep intimacy, and my desire to create that for us. If I hadn't had the opportunity to lead her to the kind of relationship that I thought we were capable of having together, the resentment would have kicked in eventually. Like I said...pretty happy that I never had to make that decision.
Interesting. Does your Dominant/Submissive relationship include BDSM? It's 24/7. I'm a gay submissive and in my world there's a lot of physical abuse, which I need, but does it work the same way in your relationship? You both talk so much in detail about everything. Not sure if I could do that.
As a fellow kinkster, this breaks my heart. Being in a loving and caring and safe D/s relationship is the most beautiful thing, but it does not have anything to do with gender roles or some type of essentialized 'femininity' or 'masculinity'. BDSM and kink are not a tool against some imagined 'femininization' of society, much less to bring back 'real men'. If notions of gender roles are part of your play and what you feel comfortable with and like to express, please do so! But do not make it about a traditional ideal of what real men and real women are like - there is nothing masculine about being in charge or making decisions and there is nothing feminine about submission.
You’ve defined what masculinity and femininity are not. I’m interested in what you use the words masculine and feminine to describe. What is your definition of the terms, and what are examples of each in ways that are distinct with each other?
Ya, because men make all the right decisions and us meer lowly women can't do it without them. I would NEVER teach this method of living to my grandchildren! For centuries, women have been submissive and where has it gotten us? Beaten, raped, sold, used, left for younger, the list is endless! Best wishes on your journey through life. My lessons on this subject are over!
Ann Marie Nuccio is right in her point of view based on her experience. Many times men overused their power over women. That's for fact, but are men up there, whose know how to navigate masculine energy towards their beloved women. It really does not matter if it's kinky person or vanilla.. in both dynamics can be find good people with respect and care, and bastard people, whose love to control other person in their relationship...
This is true! Men are very willing to risk their own lives, they’d be even more willing to risk yours. I’m with you. I believe submission has its place, but shit, can’t just sit around passively and let a man lead you right into hell.
Your thinking is very black and white. All men do not make the right decisions. Good men are more likely to, bad men are more likely not to. Women cannot do without men, and men cannot do without women. We need each other, and when this need is properly taken care of, we build families. And there are roles that have worked well in many relationships in the past. You seem to be under the impression that all women have ever gotten until very recent history are the negative things you mentioned. That’s a myopic and sad view of history. You seem to find no beauty in the past and lump all men into the same category based purely on their gender and is, quite frankly, very sexist. I hope someday you’ll find that there are good men and there are bad men (just as you’ve no doubt found that there are good women and bad women), that men and women can work out their differences and find peace between the sexes as each takes responsibility for what they uniquely contribute to a relationship.
U can be in love with Jesus and submit to your husband and be safe. There's a way. We have been taught wrong by the world...the Holy Spirit leads into all truth. he will show u wrong and He will show u what's right.
What's your personal interpretation of abuse, and what part of the relationship as expressed in the video do you deem abusive? This is a genuine question and I'm interested in your reply.
The path my husband and I are embarking on after 26 years of marriage.
It truly is a beautiful journey.

How awesome is this?!
