Mikey was always my favourite, from the cartoon and the movies.
The same street Raphael walks across after leaving the movie theater is the same street that the stay puft marshmallow man walked down in the first Ghostbusters movie (Central Park, west). Rapheal is my favorite Turtle with Mikey being my runner up.
This movie still holds up the original Movie was So great and they changed it so much for the sequel and I won’t even talk about the third but the original is one of my two favorites and I think it’s safe to say I like turtles just a tad more than T2 judgment day but they are the two best movies ever
T2 is pretty much Sci-Fi perfection. State of the art mind-blowing special effects but all revolving around a mother trying to raise her son in a hopeless world.
Thank you for this!! I miss those times so much!!
Donatello was my favourite turtle.
The toys from Playmates would have to be my favourite product.
Huh, "Bogey" as in Humphrey Bogart! Makes perfect sense! This whole time I thought he called him "Bogey" because he was snot green...
Wild that you missed that
I remember playing Narc as a kid. Fun times.
The 'TAXI' ref is, in fact, a James Cagney impression...
Rapheal: " Oh no....not Cagney".
A lot of these I didn't understand as a child
Today, I watched Rocky 1976 for the first time. Then thought to check out tmnt references vid to hear Mikey do his rocky impression and and found this. Great video. Learn a few things!
Michaelangelo is my favorite. Next do Teenage mutant ninja turtles The secret of the ooze easter eggs; that would be cool.
Turtle Power! Himato Yoshi was avenged!
Batman Hamato Yoshi* 😁
Domino's got the pizza product placement in the movie. Back in the early 90's I had this movie on VHS and the most Iconic Pizza Hut commercial was the opening ad before the movie started. I remember that pizza hut commercial more than the pizza they ordered was a domino's pie.
Add the 3:01 mark when you were talking about the kids drinking beer and such, the headbands on the kid’s heads are all the same color as the turtle’s masks.🤔
Great catch. Amazing what we missed while watching this movie. Then again the movie is mainly dark and filmed in dark settings. Still great catch
When I was a kid i learned how and where from penicillin was created. I don't think that joke went unnoticed that much.
Raph is the best Turtle
and the TMNT pizza thrower was the best Turtle product.
German translation was really funny. "Critters, seen it 16 times and haven't laughed once".
I still my TMNT lunch box & TMNT bowl from the 90's.
Donie is my favorite turtle
Now I have to watch the first 2 movies again.
I got some trivia for ya… there are 3 news reporters/anchors named in this movie. The first is April. What were the other 2?
Favorite turtle? Slash.
Toka was my favorite turtle
Dope video!
My favorite ninja turtles is Leonardo and Donatello
Judith Hoag was hot in this movie
When Casey meets Raphael, he calls him Bogey. But Casey being sports themed, could he actually be referencing the golf term? This also keeps with the back and forth sports references during the ensuing fight.
Its cause of the outfit!
Sorry to say you're wrong.
@@omegahorizon82 yeah, it’s a Humphrey Bogart reference. I may be looking for too much nuance in a movie about giant fighting turtles
Don't feel bad. I thought it was a golf reference too as evidenced later on how he defeats Tatsu.
The Elmo doll can be seen behind splinter in his first shot.
we never did find out who the uncredited bubblegum girl was from the warehouse arcade.
Who's watching this after a few play throughs of TMNT: Shredder's Revenge?
Wrong but the Michelangelo impersonation was of Cagney public enemy number One Raphael even says well he has his finger in the fish tank not Cagney
Man, did you know, that you sound like the German dubbed version of Will Wheaton?!
In the original vhs version of the movie it had a Pizza Hut ad.
Idk if this was intentional, but in the beginning when the turtles say “Awesome” “Righteous” “Busanova”, Donatello changes his word to “Excellent”, very similar to how Bill and Ted say“Excellent”
While you are correct, I think it’s just a coincidence
My favorite turtle product was the toys
Obviously
I'll never understand why they did it. It's so confusing it makes my brain explode. Even in the 2003 version they referenced movies and tv shows like the Twilight Zone and King Kong how weird.
1st was the best
If ninja turtles were real, can you imagen how bad they would stink?
I try not to imagine that smell. They live in the sewers after all
Every shirt Danny wore was not related to the sex pistols..he had a megadeth shirt on
Yep james cagney taxi early 1930s cagney Hollywood legend play gangster parts
Do you understand the joke michaelangelo said in the sewer about it only being ninth street? Does anyone get it?
the smell
I can't have Domino's its closed. Everything is closed.
