    Great series! I've been doing this and the 8 minute yoga 3-4 times a week for the last 2 months and I haven't been this flexible in my life.

    Bro I'm so tight, the only stretch I was able to do properly was the hip abductors...
    This one was pretty simple, so I'll stick with it and see if I get better over time.

    How frequently would you recommend this routine in order to build flexibility?

    • @LatticeTraining
      @LatticeTraining  2 роки тому +10

      This kind of routine can be done several times a week. Even daily if you work up to it. The minimum frequency required to build flexibility depends on the individual. Some people gain flexibility very easily and others need to a lot of time.

    In the first exercise where a resistance band is used to pull the leg back, is it important to keep the leg straight or is it ok to bend the knee a little?
    It would be great to see the name of the stretches in the video for the duration of each stretch, say in the upper left hand of the video where it's out of the way. Just a thought.

      Lol I barely get my leg back without bending its awful i needed this. Hope someone answers this because i can def feel it in my calf but idk if its better to stay lower with a straight leg or really push to keep the leg up while accepting its bent.

    Good stretches! I find that the hip internal rotation stretch is felt on the inside and in the joint.

    I really love these videos and appreciate you posting them. The only thing that is irksome are the advertisements that youtube inserts when I am trying to follow along. The advertisements completely ruin the timing and the flow where I have to stop the exercise get up off the floor, move to my laptop and dismiss the rudely inserted advertisement.

    • @LatticeTraining
      @LatticeTraining  2 роки тому +1

      Glad you liked the video ☺ Sorry about the ads. Ad revenue just about covers the cost of us creating content so unfortunately we have to monetize our videos - although we know ads can be really annoying when in the zone 🧘

    8:50 Isn't grabbing your shin bad because of the overcompression of the knee? I learned that with deep glute stretches like this, you always want to grab behind your thigh, not your shin to evade unhealthy mobility in your knees.

    • @LatticeTraining
      @LatticeTraining  2 роки тому +1

      Not at all. This is perfectly healthy and normal for the knee. Very little compression will be going through your knee in this stretch.
