SUPER sweet collection!
I've a ton of appreciation for the Rx7 and Cappo, but that RX2 is so cool! And hilarious fact is that is probably what got me into cars... About 5 years before I was born, my grandfather bought my mom a fairly new RX2. And because of that car and her street racing (that I later found out about) she really got into cars. Sadly, it was sold after it ate a third engine (the oil of the 1970s was not up to the level of todays) and when you're ripping those doritos through red line regularly over the weekend, they need excellent oil! So long story short, a little while later, she met my dad (also into cars) and so really I had no hope in avoiding my addiction to the automotive world. (And I'm very okay with that!)
I'm 56yrs young and brother u have taken me down memory lane. You need to one year bring that collection to the Puerto Rican Day Parade and Festival in Spanish Harlem, here in New York!

Would love to see a video on how you started flipping cars, been trying to figure out how to start and how registration and insurance works if youre gonna flip and sell it within a week or few weeks. But the collection is lookin🔥🔥🔥
Depends where you live flipping car market is hard and if you live in a place saturated with small dealers it will be a hard path for you. Depending where you live car auctions right now are expensive and most only sell online do to covid. getting a dealer license you are required to have 100k equity either 100k in cash that you can't touch for entire time you are in business or if you own a house you can put that on the line. Personal advice don't do it you can flip on the side again depending where you live you can sell up to 4 cars a year unless you are also flipping titles which is illegal.
Best advice? Get your independent dealer license go work for a big dealer you will also be able to buy trade ins that dealer is planning to send to auction. Meaning you will know what u are buying and buy it at lower price then at auction good luck
@@nawzy202 looking to just flip maybe 1-2 a year, nothing too big, so mostly lower end cars like old hondas and toyotas, was gonna flip my project car but got too attached, started building the car and have had it for 2 years haha
@@vasavkj Phew good choice lol 3-4 cars a year without license and if you needed more you can always get one of your family members to used their name that's another 4 cars lol. Facebook offerup craigslist and other apps you can find deals batter then most auctions and best of all you can test drive them Go make that money

this was really cool of you to video Rick. for the steering wheel in your Starlet, see if it can be rebuilt with a smaller hoop. i seen Chip Foose do it to a steering wheel that was too big. there's a place in Texas called Custom Craft and they do amazing work on steering wheels. oh and happy birthday hard dog Semper Fi💪

Nice collection of vehicles. It's nice to see good people getting their dreams, and the message of hard work paying off is great. That Datsun 510 brings back memories of mine, but mine was race orange with black stripes! Also had a different motor....four cylinder, four carb setup..... I think, but it's been over twenty years since I had that car so I could be wrong. Not sure what motor it was.

With that many cars, id probably have a key hook/rack by the door with the days of the week and drive each one each week. Either that or have a big bucket and pull one out everyday with out looking and be a surprise, lol.

Very nice selection of hot rods. Man this is a tough one. Daily driver: Raptor, because it has all the comforts, tech and power. Plus you can fit the more car parts in it. Definitely stock exhaust too for being a daily. Now the weekend: gonna go with the RX2. Mainly bc it sounds amazing. Like the story behind it, although it probably didn’t seem to good when getting that name, lol. But the R8 is a very close second.
