I remember when I was like 16 years old (circa 2004ish) I tried to convince my mom to get a pristine NSX that the dealer had for $32000 she got an 01 Malibu instead. Showed my mom how much it's worth now and she almost fainted😂😂

I had a chance to get a 1991 back in 2014/15 when I was a technician @ Lexus of Greenville SC....the original owner traded it in on a brand new Lexus LFA....45k miles all service records all original paperwork including window sticker...and they were gonna let me get it for 5% over trade in value via employee pricing...it makes me sick to think about it...

@@ChrisF-fx5du you do know that engine oil degrades and breaks down after 6 months? Also if that stretched cambelt had broken it would have been a catastrophic failure. There's absolutely no need to run an engine in a performance car that has stood a long time until an oil change at least has been done, and intakes checked for rodents/nests ect.
This guy got lucky, but In many cases engine damage such as big end bearings is the result.

Well for someone who hasn't ever watched your channel. You got a sub from me for this NSX build. This model and the new NSX didn't get the credit it deserved when each came out. As they both age their place in the car world is getting up there. Thank you for posting the full build. But not knowing if the alignment worked after it's crash damage and not addressing that kind of made it seem as if you gave up on the car or you would have painted it. Because in no way shape or form is that worth 90k without paint and a steering rack and other stuff that wasn't shown on this video. The bumper and hood and fenders never lined up in your final shots. The rear window scoop was so Temu. Half the tail light was out on one video never saw it fixed. No shots of the final car driving or running. It all just ended like a let's call it good situation.

The British national anthem starting at @1:51:08 while talking about fitting Swedish coilovers to a Japanese car is an interesting choice.

Amazing cars guys. Great ideal taking a basicly junked car and rebuilding it ti show how you can own your dream car for far less than market price if your willing to put in the work and can find the right shell to start

Excellent build. Love NA, the Pride exhaust surprised me with how much throat she has.

So great seeing an NSX brought back from the dead. Love your videos. Not a fan of that wing, kind of ruins the beautiful original lines but that's just my opinion. Nice work!

Fantastic choice of color eventhough the tan parts aren't really my thing. What I really love about the FD and NSX NA1 is they are the last 2 lightweight JDM hero cars. That's what makes them special to me. If I had to pick - NSX because that engine wil loutlast anything.

It looks great, nice to see it brought back to life. Well all bar the seats, mirrors and wheels 😅 but I get it

It’s always hilarious watching JDM shops like this work on “old” cars like this. If it starts up right away, you didn’t “save it from the junkyard”.

If you spray your calipers with clear high temperature paint they will stay looking new for a long time , and for the color of the car gunmetal gray.

I would suggest painting it white and putting a gold flake in the paint to bring the interior color and the exterior together

Just finished the video. Came out amazing. Only thing I would've done different is not wrap that carbon hood. Looks great either way though. Congradulations. 🎉
